When I moved to Monroe in 2002, I called around to find an internist that could handle my asthma. I had 2 other doctor offices tell me to call Kabir. What I like best is how he works with my other specialists by keeping check on my total health. He even didn't mind when other specialist change level of medicines if they thought it was needed. I have had to go to the ER too many middle of the night because of something the kids at school shared. Every time, Kabir was called because he had listed in my hospital record that he was to be and a few times I was admitted on his call. When I get sick from the kids, I never had trouble being seen quickly. Yes, that does mean at times you do have to wait for a while, but the service of really listening to you and checking you out to diagnose the correct course of action is worth it. Just bring reading material or your cellphone, but most times the wait is under a half hour. Even though I live 45 miles away from Monroe in Southfield MI, I plan to keep him as my main doctor. GREAT doctors are hard to find, as I learned during EBS treatment and death last year. You need one doctor office to check your care to make sure different specialists don't think the others on the team is doing that so medical mistakes happen. Having Promedica records involved with his office makes sure he can do that with ease.

I…read morewas seeing his partner Dr. Marwari until he left the practice to go work critical care medicine at the Detroit VA. Both of these doctors are great and I would recommend them. Dr. Jain has been good coordinating my care with my internal medicine doctor and my infectious disease doctor for numerous pulmonary problems relating to be born with CVID. Basically missing about 3/3 of my Immune system. No cure limited treatment. I hope the keep me out of the hospital awhile this time. Last winter was terrible.
