He insisted on me getting surgery as a teenager to stop or prevent any complications, his words were that I'm going to end up in a wheel chair unless I do the surgery. I underwent surgery my family trusted this doctor and made me go into surgery for my knee. Every since after I feel like a disabled person, I'm restricted in what I can do with my leg ever since. Dr Foetisch I truly hate me and everyday of my life I will keep sending curses towards him, he gave me a gift of pain and made me disabled, ugly ! When I wanted to sue him after getting to my legal age I was told it's too late after the surgery to press charges. So please don't let him operate you unless the sighs are there that you really need it, that is living in Toledo area. The wait time to get to an appointment with him during the appointment date is horrible on top of him being resist. I've lived and worked in 4 states and multiple cities. What I mean by that is nothing seems to connect outside when it comes to the hospital itself. Apple kept taking me to the ER but once I was there I couldn't get to the next building without going back to Main Street. Once I figured out there was an other side with all these roundabouts I was finally somewhat in the right place but again nothing connects. Seems so unnecessary. Plus parking is awful. But once all that is figured out and I can find parking I'm was good. I found my location and all the staff was very friendly. From the front desk, ultrasound tech, doc and dietitian They were all really great.

I had to get a bunch of other testing done to "clear" me to get the surgery redone- Pulmonary tests, bronchoscopy, lab work... All of them showed nothing, no issues. They still charged me for the entire procedure. After a few months (and a new year/deductable) I was able to get it redone. No problems, everything went fine. The anesthesiologist said the tube was probably placed too deep prior as I have a short airway. Cool. So I had to close my business down for recovery TWICE (2 weeks at a time), lost wages, tons of anxiety and stress, and now I get to pay for 2 surgeries on Promedicas mistake. Spoke with billing, Head of surgery, BBB, they dont care. They only care that they had an increase in profit for 2025. You're welcome.

Dr Gehling also did my sisters THA a few years ago with great success and she just had a TKA a few weeks ago and is doing awesome. I highly recommend him.
