He insisted on me getting surgery as a teenager to stop or prevent any complications, his words were that I'm going to end up in a wheel chair unless I do the surgery. I underwent surgery my family trusted this doctor and made me go into surgery for my knee. Every since after I feel like a disabled person, I'm restricted in what I can do with my leg ever since. Dr Foetisch I truly hate me and everyday of my life I will keep sending curses towards him, he gave me a gift of pain and made me disabled, ugly ! When I wanted to sue him after getting to my legal age I was told it's too late after the surgery to press charges. So please don't let him operate you unless the sighs are there that you really need it, that is living in Toledo area. The wait time to get to an appointment with him during the appointment date is horrible on top of him being resist. I had to get a bunch of other testing done to "clear" me to get the surgery redone- Pulmonary tests, bronchoscopy, lab work... All of them showed nothing, no issues. They still charged me for the entire procedure. After a few months (and a new year/deductable) I was able to get it redone. No problems, everything went fine. The anesthesiologist said the tube was probably placed too deep prior as I have a short airway. Cool. So I had to close my business down for recovery TWICE (2 weeks at a time), lost wages, tons of anxiety and stress, and now I get to pay for 2 surgeries on Promedicas mistake. Spoke with billing, Head of surgery, BBB, they dont care. They only care that they had an increase in profit for 2025. You're welcome.

My review is of outpatient Neurology office staff. On 9-3-26 I was notified by my orthopedic…read moresurgeon's office that they had reached out the week before and that morning to get a neurology clearance (requested my Promedica anestiologist) . I called Neurology to verify their fax number as the surgeon's office had confirmation that the faxes were received. An additional fax was sent in the afternoon, said it was not received. I decided to pick up paperwork from the surgeon's office on 9-4-26 and take it to Neurology. I showed proof of fax confirmation and was told it was not received. I then asked for Anthony Hamilton or Dr. Ali and was told they were not in. I had told the staff my surgery was 9-8-26 and if I could not get clearance I would have to cancel surgery (ironically at a Promedica facility). The staff made no further effort to help me. I then had to cancel with my surgeon, the care coordinator at Wildwood-got her voicemail, (hope she gets the message before my scheduled surgery time) and my outpatient therapy company. I will also have to return medical devices and then return to get them closer to my next surgery date. The next closest surgery date is a month away, which gives me a month less of rehab time before I go on a long planned trip. I next requested an appointment with Anthony Hamilton to address the clearance issues. Ironically, my appointment is 9-8-26 at 8am. I will have to repeat all of my pre-op tests again. My first choice was a Promedica facility as I'd had such a good experience there a year ago. I've never had a complaint with any Neurology staff except for this past time. Someone needs to check out what the issue is with the fax system and how to better assist a patient in my situation. My surgery has been rescheduled for the next available date, which happens at a Mercy facility.

Dr Gehling did a hip revision on me in February. He did a great job, I had little pain and back to…read morenormal activities within a couple of weeks. Dr Gehling also did my sisters THA a few years ago with great success and she just had a TKA a few weeks ago and is doing awesome. I highly recommend him.
