I wanted to share a review of Dr. K and his staff. I went to their office in severe sciatic pain…read moreand having to stay in bed the majority each day. So, as you can see, I felt a dire need for someone to help me. Dr. K was one of the kindest, professionals I have ever met. He really listened and together we agreed on a surgical plan. His office coordinated with me to get all the necessary prior tests completed. His staff is really on top of their game everyday. Every question was answered in a timely fashion. So I felt confident in the process and choice I made. The surgery day came and it did take longer than expected. But the care was never changed, he worked hard on my back to complete a fusion of the 4-5 area. The recovery as he had stated takes some time and a will to get better. It has now been six months and yes I am glad to have had the procedure. I still have a ways to go to reach a one year mark. I am confident I will continue to improve. If you are nervous, worried or in pain, seek a consultation to get a definitive answer to what is happening. Dr. K spends whatever amount of time needed to explain and advise you of his recommendations. I do not believe I have ever had a physician this caring and personable as Dr. K is. They spoke with doctor offices on our behalf, they provided PT, OT, and personal care for my daughter. They even helped us get an at-home Physician that would visit my daughter since she is bedridden. I can't say enough great things about this company and the employees. Our nurse Michelle has been Heaven sent. She helped us so much and was an absolute Angel! Also, Reem the Case Mgr. was fabulous as well. She helped us get our hospital bed and other medical equipment that was really needed. Their whole team is just great! I have been seeing Dr. Goss for over 10 years. I was suffering from chronic lower back pain when I…read moreoriginally started seeing him. I remember limping into his practice after 3+ months of physical therapy at a leading hospital and the therapy wasn't helping (bad L5S1). His staff took digital x-rays, loaded them to one of the computers in the adjustment room in which he proceeded to review with me. Dr. Goss explained how my hips were out of alignment (why I was limping-having essentially one leg shorter than another) and had some abnormal curvature of the spine. I was always scared of chiropractic care, but several family and friends were asking why I wasn't seeing a chiropractor. After my first adjustment, I walked out-not limping. I'm not saying saying I was perfect after one visit, but I was walking the most normal that I have been in over 3 months. With his continued care/maintenance I feel I can live a normal pain free life. I rarely write reviews, but realized today how I take for granted how accommodating his practice is. My neck was locked-up late in the day yesterday and after taking 600 mg and another 400mg of Motrin and using a heating pad-it wasn't much better today. I was in the area today and I called his practice to see if I could stop in within the next 15 min and if I could be seen right away. This was due to the fact that I had a business lunch meeting that I already was going to be late to, but couldn't deal with the pain and couldn't turn my neck. He had seen me within a few min of stopping in and after his adjustment, I had movement in my neck again. I don't know if anyone has tried driving with a stiff neck, but it's not safe-especially when your on the road all day. I had a membership to this gym back in April to May 2018. The first thing that attracted me to it…read morewas the price. I've actually connected with this gym via Instagram. Whoever ran its account followed me and remained active as far as liking my posts and commenting. I really appreciated it and because of it, I've paid a visit and signed up. The first day, the employees were helpful and seemed very welcoming. I've signed up and the fee at the time was $35 a month. It was something that I could get with. I started going to the gym at least every other day around 6 a.m. because it's usually empty and I would get enough exercise in without worrying about being around others. It was cool for a minute. Then one day, due to the fact that I had be elsewhere earlier in the day, I've decided to go around noon where I know plenty of people were going to be around. When I walked in, I flashed my membership card so that no one can stop me and try to ask a million questions. The employees all had this weird look on their face. It was a look of "Who is he?" and "Does he even belong here?" You could cut the tension like a knife. It felt as if the record stopped once I walked in. Anyway, I walked straight to the locker room to get into my workout gear. No more than 2 minutes later, one of the employees, or who I believe is the owner, came in behind me. He walked around the locker room for at least 30 seconds. Then he pretended to use the bathroom because the urinals are right there as soon as you walk in. I didn't hear anything nor did he wash his hands, so my b.s. detector went off immediately. I've proceeded to go upstairs to begin my workout. However, 10 minutes later, I packed it all up because it was fresh in my mind. The next day, I called to cancel my membership. I had to pay an extra $35 for the next month, but I couldn't get down with what I felt, in which I believed that I was a target of discrimination. And even if it wasn't direct, I'm sure if I've stayed longer, it would've happened. Several times prior to going to this gym, I've called and the owner, I assume uses his private phone, answered. Each conversation felt very dry and he didn't even show no enthusiasm towards a new gym member. I had to get out of it quick because other than getting myself together, I would like to feel welcomed. Gyms are usually places where bonds are formed through the shared love of fitness. Here, it felt like I was a ghost...one who was visible, but unwanted.
