Ordered flowers for my daughter in February 2022. Got this email from the business: "It is with great sadness to inform you I had over fifty arrangements stolen, along with multiple website disruptions. I take full responsibility for these issues and will work tirelessly to make them right. If you will allow me, I will get your order out to you tomorrow, February 16, 2022. If you have further questions or concerns, please email me back directly and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Your order and understanding are of the utmost importance to me and I will do everything I can to right the situation. " After no action for months, despite repeated emails and phone calls to CF, I went to the Richmond Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint. The CF owner told them he would refund the money. Never did. Finally, after months, the BBB told me that they had exhausted all the options in dealing with this business, and labelled the complaint "UNRESOLVED." This business never delivered flowers I paid for. Promised me they'd make it right. Didn't. Told the BBB they'd make it right. Never did. In short: they took my money, and never delivered what they were paid for. The business's pledge to "right the situation" was worthless. Lousy. read more

The beautiful flowers were delivered and everyone loved them at a very sad time. The service was impeccable and they sent a photo when they delivered the lovely flowers. In this time of few florist with such a personal touch I give them 10 stars. The service and should I say love they share with customers is so needed today. In a season where everyone is so cold getting your money then sending flowers that do not deliver the message you want to share. I used Christopher Flowers for my wedding florals. They were absolutely gorgeous. They were exactly what I wanted, and even more gorgeous than I expected. Christopher was friendly and easy to work with, and was very good about finding out exactly what my vision was and figuring out how to execute it. He was very flexible, is open to nontraditional, and even made me a demo bouquet to make sure it was what I wanted. He has a subscription flower delivery service also, which I haven't used, but am interested to try. Since the wedding, I have used him for a friend's birthday party also, and will use him again in the future for sure. It is prudent to note that he is not the most punctual, so allow a little leeway in your order timing to ensure you get what you need by the time you need it. read more

My stepdaughter was a new mom in VCU hospital, I made the mistake of choosing Christophers Flowers to send an arrangement. It was supposed to be delivered on a Sunday, It wasn't. When I called to inquire I was given a song and dance about a security guard throwing them away, that changed the next day and a promise of "I will personally handle this in in the morning." Was made by the owner, WHO FAILED AGAIN, On the third day of my voicing my complaints, a clear vase of what appeared to be leftovers was sent. It was neither what was ordered, nor was it appropriate for the occasion. While the flowers were *beautiful* I was a little frustrated - also realizing that they most likely were slammed that day given all the v-day deliveries. I called to tell them and they profusely apologized and sent the chocolate AND a new bouquet to my mom to make up for the inconvenience. In March of 2022, I needed a Sunday deliver to a restaurant in Innsbrook for my wife's birthday. Not only was Christopher's florist the only available florist I called, he also offered delivery. Looking through his arrangements I found the perfect gift in the "Flower's of the Day". I wanted the day to be special for my wife and his arrangement did just that. Not only was he late to each meeting but on the day of the wedding, he made the decision to take back my bride and groom stage flowers along with another bouquet and corsages and boutonniere without telling ANYONE. He didn't even come back after I called about it! Even after all that I remained very professional and reached out a day or so after requesting a refund for those items since that was really all that can be done at that point. He agreed but then all the sketchy excuses started happening and those then turned into lies. First , I'm waiting for days for a confirmation email HE said he'd send about the refund. Then he freaks out over email when I ask for it after I send him a verbatim message about him saying he'd send it . After that nonsense, he is adamant about giving a cash refund instead of electronic which was yet another sketch thing but I just wanted it over will so a plan to meet up. Nope, no show and when I call he had the nerve to say "I have so many unread texts, I just don't read them!" I told him PayPal the money and I started sending reminders texts almost each day. This man had excuse after excuse! I gave him weeks to give me my refund and he has yet to give me my full refund so now I have to go through the banks which is annoying but necessary. In addition to this review, I'll be reporting him to the better business bureau. He is unprofessional and unreliable so please save yourself and support a more deserving florist! read more

Christopher is an amazing person with amazing floral arrangements to choose from. Yesterday, I was running late to my class on Cary St. due to a death in my boyfriend's family. I saw his stand and thought it would be a perfect way to show him I was here for him during this difficult time. When I asked Christopher when he closed, he said technically already, but that he'd be around. So I hurried to class, then returned to the stand and called his number to order flowers. My card wouldn't work with his system but Christopher didn't mind; he gave me a bouquet because he understood my position. Christopher brightened my entire night. While speaking with the owner was really nice, I cannot say the same for my arrangement! I wish I could show pictures. I wanted a heart shaped wreathe type bleeding you know with an opening in the middle for my fiancé who had passed. The picture was specific & said it could be done. I ordered with Christopher for my best friends birthday bouquet. I am located in Florida and she lives in Henrico. I called to place an order around 6:30pm and Christopher was beyond professional, helpful, and super friendly. I needed a same day delivery and although already so late in the evening he went above and beyond to make it happen for me all while staying within my budget. My best friend raved on how polite he was and how beautiful the bouquet was. Most of the time when you leave a card note your delivery is sent with a typed out card but she absolutely loved that my words were hand written it added such a personal touch which really stood out for her. If I ever need flowers or know someone in the area who does I will most definitely recommend them to Christopher and I plan to be an annual client now. I can't thank them enough, it's so refreshing to be able to put your trust in a business that you've never been to, with people you've never met, and send an item you've never seen and they completely knock it out of the park!!!!! Our flowers never arrived. We were told they attempted delivery, but there was never a missed call to the recipient or the shipper - plus the door code was correct, so we think the driver went to the wrong location. We were in touch just 20 mins after attempted delivery, so we were told the flowers would be re-delivered that night. They were not. Then we were told they'd be delivered the next day. They were not. Every time we inquired about the order, we were told we'd be called back in 5 mins - but no one ever called back, and the flowers never arrived. On the third day, we finally just asked for a refund. They apologized, saying they had been too busy to follow up with our order. It took 3 more calls and several more days to get the refund. Not great customer service. read more

No problem, Chris immediately let me know there was an issue but had a similar alternative on deck. This was absolutely the worst business to deal with I have ever experienced. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my son and his wife to celebrate their 1st anniversary. He charged me and promised to deliver them on Sunday 8/5/18, after he never delivered them as promised on Saturday 8/4/18. After numerous phone calls and texts where I finally asked him to cancel my order and refund my money- $78.75, he never did. Even two weeks after the order, he said "I will personally make sure she gets the flowers today." I had texted him to ask for the date that he processed my refund. He lied to me over and over again about EVERYTHING! I finally had to go to my bank, cancel my debit card due to FRAUD and request action to be taken against him in order to get my $78.75 back. I finally got my money back in my bank account yesterday, 9/7/18. I recommend you NOT use this guy as he will take your money, but NOT deliver the services he promises to do. Terrible service and flowers were days later than promised! My husband and I tried to order flowers as we wanted to support a small business during COVID-19. We are out of state and wanted to get flowers out for his grandmothers funeral in VA. We were told they would come that day but they never saw them. After days of going back and forth and him telling us his driver couldn't find the address because my husband mistakenly typed "CA" and not "VA" as the state but the zip code and everything else was correct. Was he really confused?? Did he get think we were expecting him to drive flowers to California? Why didn't he call to report the concern? Instead he charged us for the flowers 2 days later, and they were still not delivered. When we would call he was very rude over the phone saying how busy he was. Terrible service I can't even say, especially to someone who was grieving. Three days later they arrived and he said he would give a 25% discount but we have not seen that either...
