This little hair studio is located in a strip mall on Sackville Drive, and can be difficult to locate if you aren't paying attention. While I always make an appointment with my usual hair dresser, the 3's Company staff are great at fitting in drop-ins, and there are usually enough people working at a time to keep on schedule. What I've learned to love about getting my hair done here is how comfortable the environment is. The clientele is mainly women in their mid-teens or twenties and moms (my mom included). You wont find the most cutting edge styles or colors leaving through their doors but I've always walked away satisfied. That satisfaction is thanks in part to the compliments that everyone working gives me on every new do, but if it's a scheme to keep my business it's working.

Several of the ladies there have cut my hair and they all did a great job. I like the fact that I can go in and not know what I want-which is every time-and when I leave I have a terrific cut that everyone seems to love. I get my hair colored now and they choose everything, they even call me to remind me that it is time for another one. Service is fantastic, all the ladies chat with you, clients chat to clients, they remember your children, your hobbies, your tastes. Give it a try, if nothing else you will come out with a haircut that everyone will love.....even your husband will compliment you.....;0)

My wife recently visited this salon with a very specific hairstyle in mind and showed the stylist…read moreexactly what she wanted. She also had her hair coloured, and the total cost was around $400. Unfortunately, the haircut/style she received was not what she had asked for at all. What was particularly frustrating was being told during the appointment that the stylist was not going to do the requested style because my wife could not replicate it herself at home. If a stylist is unable or unwilling to provide the requested style, that should be communicated before cutting the hair, not after the service is already underway. My wife is normally extremely respectful and rarely complains in the moment, but she is genuinely devastated by the result. I have never seen her this upset about her hair. She is now considering going to another salon and paying additional money to have it corrected before we travel. She has been a loyal customer of salons in general and is normally a very generous tipper, so the fact that she left without tipping reflects just how disappointed she was with the service. Unfortunately, she will not be returning to this salon and would not recommend it to others. When someone spends approximately $400 and clearly communicates the style they want, they should be able to expect the stylist to either deliver that service or be upfront beforehand if they cannot.

I went to Imagine (IN TEARS) with hair that was literally fried off to the point that I didn't want to leave the house. I was so used to having long healthy hair. Marcy calmed me down, and went over my options. After the first appointment my hair was on the mend. After a few treatments and Marcy getting my hair to where it needed to be we decided to do Babe Extensions. VOILA I had long hair again. She did such an amazing job installing my extensions, there was no issues with them, and I am now addicted to them. Thank you Marcy, You truly are amazing!! The space is easy and simple; with only two stylists gracing the scene, it makes for a quiet and relaxed experience. My hair was in a crazy state when I first went in to see Brian. I had buzzed my head and my hair was in the midst of renegotiating itself around my melon. I had been giving myself some random snips, and really needed someone to assist the process. Brian was funny and helpful suggesting that I not take the scissors to myself again. I also had a single dread from a trip to Spain, and Brian assisted me with letting go by snipping it clear off. I had some nice chats with Brian and quite enjoyed my haircuts. I even went with some color at one point and it turned out well! The cuts are reasonably priced, and the service is attentive and genuine. I reckon that they only take cash or cheque so don't get caught with plastic in your hand! The space is sweet bright, and you'll definitely feel at ease when you take a seat in this simple boutique salon.

My hair dresser was named Georgia. She is Greek and unfortunately did not speak a word of English, however there was another stylist nearby to translate for me. Georgia was friendly in the little English that she knew. I requested choppy layers with just a bit being taken off the length, and was concerned my request would be lost in translation, but thankfully I ended up being really pleased. It was by far the best hair cut I've had in quite some time. She made my bangs look perfect, which is quite the feat considering I have a few monstrous cow licks and the layers she put in my hair were choppy and noticeable just as I requested. It was extremely flattering. I've been told that anyone educated on hair dressing in Europe has a heads up over anyone educated in Canada, and since Georgia did such a great job on my hair I'm inclined to agree. I can't remember how much it cost, but it was reasonable. I'd say $40-60. I'd definitely recommend Georgia for a good hair cut.

'cause I treated myself to a cut and style from the knowledgeable, personable Michael here. (I've visited Angela before and was happy, too!) And the day after the cut, I CANNOT stop running my hands through my hair. It feels and looks amazing. It doesn't tangle like it did, the split ends are gone, and no more ponytails (well, unless I want one) for another six months, at least! I can actually do something with this hairstyle other than "blowdry it and hope for the best". The deep conditioning treatment has turned my hair from straw to luscious. *rubs hair again* And it looked absolutely fabulous the day he did it, too... I went out with my new hair and felt more confident than I have in a while! I love this place. I'm going to be visiting twice a year, now. Note: the prices are a little expensive, but my hair grows verrrry slowly and is hard to handle. Therefore, I find it SO worth it to pay $75 for a cut that will last six months or more and the peace of mind that comes with not worrying about whether that cheap haircut place will ruin my hair for a year or more. If your hair grows super-fast and you change it up a lot, you might want to limit your visits to a treat. If your hair grows super-slowly and you want a style that will keep you happy for a while, maybe you'll want to visit this place too. :)
