He was good enough to loan it to me to use in my home. The next time I saw him I asked him if the binocular was for sale and he apologized, 'No.', but said that the next time he and his wife went to their home in Ketchum, Idaho, he would see if he could find one for sale there. The next thing I knew I had a phone call from Laurrine McGowan from Armstrong Root Opticians. She explained that she had a 25/40x100 binocular on order and as soon as it was received she could forward it to me! I was ecstatic! It arrived about a week and a half later at my home in Everett, WA. It was professionally packed and in perfect condition. Ms. McGowan called me and sent email to stay in touch every step of the way. She conducted herself in a professional manner, was friendly and courteous and very helpful. The binocular is state of the art. It included set up directions and I also got help from my neighbor friend. Once you use an instrument like this, you just are not the same. I can see so much more and so clearly. I see eagles regularly and have been watching the migrating birds. It is a wonder to behold!
