He needed to have…read morehis two bottom premolars out because they were baby teeth without adult teeth underneath, with roots too shallow to move. Well, that's what we heard two years ago anyway. I hated the idea of removing two teeth just to put posts and crowns in a teenager's mouth. So I let it go (hoping for a better idea?). But it was now past time for braces,so I bit the bullet--no pun intended. We made an appointment and got in within a couple of weeks. Their office has a good COVID protocol that allows very few people in at one time. We were ushered back to the exam room and went through a new patient questionnaire as well as an interview of sorts, and then the doctor came in to explain the procedure and answer any questions. The teeth had already started to fuse to his jaw bone a bit, making extraction more difficult and time consuming. My son was awake for the procedure and did very well, this for a kiddo with a relatively low pain threshold. I was called back into the room afterwards and again the doctor explained all that happened. We were given post-op instructions and checked out. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. Recovery went remarkably well. In fact, I was surprised just how quick it was. My son went from soft food back to his regular diet in just a couple days and didn't complain once of pain. I hope we don't need their services again. But if we ever do need oral surgery in the future, I would definitely go back.

HOWEVER, I will say that this is the first time from start to finish. I changed dentist due to my work and location so this past winter I was looking for a new dentist. I asked a co worker of mine and she recommended this dentist. I did my own research and decided to give it a whirl. The front office staff was great. And my hygienist was knowledgable, talked me through everything and even made a note in my chart about preferences much appreciated. Additionally, they do provide fluoride for their adult patients. This is crucial and I've been getting this ever since I've gone to the dentist. Meeting the dentist was great, she was personable and shared her advice with me about my concerns. She did not force me into any decisions and said it was my choice but she would air on the side of conservative treatment. Overall, it was a great experience and honestly I am not dreading my next appointment.

He does not judge, or place blame for any issues / complications - nor does their staff. Everyone there is very kind, and although sometimes it can be a little tough to get in touch with them due to a high volume of calls, they are helpful and responsive. I have never had to call multiple times, they have always reached back out to me first! Dr. Bailey performed a root canal on me last year, and it went perfectly! He prescribed an antibiotic prior to the procedure, and was extremely kind and empathetic during the entire process. I had NO problems following the procedure and have not had an issue with the tooth since. I used to hate going to the dentist due to past bad experiences, but Dr. Bailey and his office of amazing staff have made up for those experiences tenfold!

I changed dentists post-haste. Dr. Arazi, Dr. Taler, and the employees who work at Advanced Family Dentistry are all consummate professionals. Their customer service is outstanding, and they seem to be extremely knowledgeable of their craft. Certainly, the plethora of certificates on the walls speak to this. I see them even though they are not in my dental insurance network. I may pay more, but I have peace of mind that I am in good hands. I just can't say enough good about them. I called in the morning one day and was seen within 2 hours which I really appreciated as the tooth was a great concern. When I went for the visit, Dr. Langdon was friendly and put me at ease as he explained what my xray revealed. I saw Dr. Langdon two days later (today) to have the crown placed on the tooth. He was caring, gentle and very attuned to my comfort. The dental chair had massage features. I was able to watch HGTV while the crown was prepared. It was very comfortable! As a senior citizen, I have been to many dentists in my life and Dr. Langdon ranks among the best if not the best! He made a crown right in HIS office without messy trays that I always dreaded. I arrived at 7:45 AM, I was out at 10AM. He has early hours 2 days a week to accommodate working people or anyone who wants their dental work done as soon as possible. The office staff of Genevive and Laura and the dental assistant, Kaitlyn, who helped Dr. Langdon with my crown were all very caring and made me feel appreciated. His office has a convenient parking lot. The office is clean, modern and very patient friendly. Dr. Langdon is a dentist I will be recommending to my family and friends, as he is extremely skilled and personable. Highly recommended!

My insurance in 2025 included dental work as long as you used a "network" dentist…read more I tried to interview a number of dentists and decided on this practice. Let me tell you, if you are scared of Halloween stories you may not want to continue this post. Everyone was really nice; they always gave us some cute dentist object to take home. My initial review probably indicates this. Now for the saga. We were always asked to pay before our departure. Without seeing insurance assurance or really know what amount we were accountable for. Ok, I am still trusting and paying. The office did not appear to be really clean and that bothered me, so I mentioned fingerprints on the lamp and how they were handling tools to be placed in my mouth. They assured me they were clean, and they used some disinfected, that made things not sparkle. (I will skip ahead and tell you my new dentist was cleaning the whole time I was there) Now for the "getter of the story". The dentist said that I was needing a new crown for my back tooth. I never had problems with it, but she insisted that I was sure to need in the future. I asked the cost, and she told me my insurance would cover, $1650. I didn't think so but both she and the office member had agreed that the insurance had preapproved the service. OK, well there was pressure and like a dumb (you can fill out in the word) I went ahead. I called UHC the minute I got home. No preapproval, not enough benefits and she forwarded me to the website to verify But wait there is more. She was right I did not have benefits so I was told the Dr could hold me accountable. (seeing smoke yet?) In addition, there were numerous payments for both my husband and me that we had paid, and the insurance had also paid. (Are you thinking what I am thinking?) While I am going through all of this, I find they are replacing a tooth of his and looking at his Tonge for cancer. (usually free but at this office $50 charge not covered by insurance) Care is questionable. I never felt comfortable or felt that I am receiving caring service. Often times I didn't even know the tech's name. I go to the end the office manager would no longer speak with me because she said I was going to put her in jail??? I called UHC and reported fraud, at this point there is no mention of refund. I contacted my credit card company reported fraud and then forwarded a certified letter, to the Dentist personally. Finally, I got our $1000+ back and found a new dentist, Dr Brown on Shadeland. If you would like to see my review there, I will be posting soon.
