The second time I visited the shop was to pick up the free wax melts that were a part of the Dutch host inn package. Since it was just me I was able to ask about the candles. They pour all of them right there! There was a great selection of sizes, scents and jars. I love that they have lilac, basically my ultimate favorite scent. It can be harder to find. I left with a giraffe candle and a lilac candle (in addition to my wax melts). The shop does take credit cards but there is a four percent fee if you pay that way. If you are going to Walnut Creek farms it is right down the street from the entrance. Definitely worth a visit and a place I'll be back to!

For the bridal shower, the bride picked out 6 pre-made scents for the shower guests to choose from for their candles. This made it much easier and smoother for the shower to stay on schedule, while still being a fun experience of making your own candle. I'd love to see them expand into soaps one day! The business in my area also offers gel hand soaps which is another great option. Staff here were so kind and you can tell they love doing what they do. I will say the prices here are a bit high, but everything here is of very high quality, and in comparison to the manufacturer or brand websites of the items I purchased, the prices were actually very close in comparison. It also always makes me feel good to support local businesses that are creating the flavor of the city we live in.
