If you're looking for the best down home cooking for a fair price & great service, then this place fits the bill! I was greeted with friendly conversations by several waitresses & served a delicious country fried steak dinner. This tasty meal made "Cracker Barrel" look like a 3rd rate restaurant! Southwest Louisville is blessed to have this place to eat! You'll be glad you ate here

The burgers were great !

On our trip to Louisville we were told to stop by and eat at Christi's! Was worth the trip! Great food and service!

Breakfast is king here I believe. We came here for a late breakfast around noon. Of course it was a Sunday and the place was packed. Fortunately a table opened up under 10 minutes later and we were seated quickly. Within 5 minutes our orders were taken and our omelettes(veggie) with hash browns and toast came out a short time later. The prices are reasonable and service was very good. My wife even had leftovers. It's not a huge place but very popular and it's a locally owned gem.

The entrance to the cafe is easy access and colorful.

Breakfast was delicious from the fried eggs over medium and the huge biscuits with plenty of good old white country gravy and home fried potatoes. The server was very friendly and checked on us often and refilled my coffee several times. Prices are reasonable and can be seen on their website and on Facebook.

Walked into a packed house. This is the go to place. Staff was welcoming and friendly and very busy. The cafe walls are lined with pictures of celebrities of days gone by. We seated ourselves and in no time we had coffee, water and menus. My husband chose the smoked sausage and eggs which came with house cottage potatoes and toast. Good portion, prepared perfectly and the sausage was juicy and tender. He ate up every bite. I chose the Country fried steak and eggs, with potatoes and toast. Great portion size in the steak, eggs cooked perfect, and of course I ate every bite. Definitely recommend this down home cooking friendly atmosphere restaurant. Thank you to the crew at Christie's Cafe for making our first experience a great one.

A well-built Arnold Palmer.

Amazing food and hospitality. I highly recommend eating here at least once a week. The home fries are the best.

Do the home fries have onions? If so, can you order without?

They come plain, with the option to add onions or cheese.

We had to prepay full price and we thought maybe they are still putting items out or in the middle of refreshing. We was wrong they never added more food to bar or brought out more variety. The only thing they had a large variety of and wasn't almost out was prepackaged little Debbie snack cakes. Also place was not the cleanest.

I started with a huge center cut pork chop. It had a great grilled flavor and a very interesting tomato based sauce. Next there was tasty smoked sausage which was surrounded by a large variety of grilled vegetables. I don't eat veggies but I could tell those who do would be happy as well. Then I had some tasty taco beef and I topped it with some cool bean sauce and cheese and sour cream. I also had a nice piece of steak very flavorful. The iced tea was nice and strong. I also had a glass of orange and even it was better than normal it was strong on syrup with a good bite. Next the deserts. At first I was disappointed because they looked like they came from Walmart. However, when I tasted them I was blown away again. The lemon cake was moist and tasted like the delicious lemon archway cookies from my childhood. Next I tried a pumpkin cream log. The spices were perfect and the filling had an excellent balance of tangy cream cheese and sweet. The lunch buffet was $15 drink included. Not only was it the most real and flavorful meal I've had in years but the couple running the place are super friendly and keep the buffet very well maintained. The place was completely clean including the restrooms. The only thing I was missing was some bread or mashed potatoes, but I think they have those sometimes just not the day I went.

This is a 4 ounce ice cream so every other DQ in the area has been also over serving? I don't believe that ! once I get my food it's cold. The only thing that was hot was the shrimp. I waited 7 to 10 minutes for my food just for to still be cold after she said on that it would be a wait time cause everything was cooked to order. What a disappoint.

Just like the other Five Guys location. They do not do trays and hand your order to you in a bag. The burger was cooked well done and the bacon was crispy which I love.
