They are unbearably bad. You ask them for an appointment for a sick child. They set the appointment…read morefor three months after the child has recovered from the disease. They are stupid in their dealings. You give them the name of the pharmacy, the phone number, and the address, and they send the medicine to another pharmacy. You ask to call them and give them your phone number. They call someone else and set the appointment online. They do not give you the password to confirm the reservation or request an inquiry. I hate going to them.

WARNING: FRADULENT BILLING PRACTICES - STAY AWAY!…read more The reason for writing this review is alert others to stay away from this facility, and save yourself from horror stories of 'Hyper-inflated medical bills $$$$', poor service, fraudulent bills and debt collection... If you're reading this, my humble advice is to find another practice, so that you don't end-up in my situation. Also, please mark the review 'useful' so everyone learns about them and some hardworking middle-class family doesn't become their victim (and incur financial losses). We went here for Ultrasound Exams, and the exams performed by staff were mediocre, nothing special about the visits that lasted 5-10 mins (or less in few cases)... I don't think the medical staff is paid much, which explains their lack of interest in work & patient care. However, the amount they bill for these Ultrasound service is 'CRAZY EXPENSIVE $$$$'... I definitely have all the intentions of paying my bills, however, they don't play fair, and invoice you super inflated bills that don't make sense. I asked them the reason for such 'Crazy Bills $$$$', and the responses are like, 'it's negotiated with the insurance companies', and 'healthcare cost are unreasonable for everyone' etc. so I should suck it up... They are not stupid, and realize that their bills are hyper-inflated, therefore prefer to avoid talking with you about it, rather they wait and forward your bills to collections agency. Finally, you'll be left with 2 choices, pay their hyper-inflated bills that don't make sense at all, and they have zero interest in correcting their hyper-inflated medical bill, OR let them spoil your credit score, and then take the matters in court for resolution. To keep it short, if you've read this review, DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY SERVICES UNLESS YOU ARE WANT TO INVITE FINANCIAL TROUBLE !!! PS: Please mark this review useful to save others from financial loss

I have been coming here for over three years. My children have been part of Hallmark medical…read moresystem, and I finally joined for my own convenience and streamlining of issues and providers. They have had a *tremendous* turnover of Doctors on staff, which left me feeling very uprooted. I have found a new primary care physician who just began working there in late 2012, Dr. Kristyn Newhall. She is FANTASTIC. I believe she's in her early 30s, very up to date on current women's issues (she told me that with my rare type of migraine I should avoid being on birth control pills because of a massive increase in the risk of stroke! Who knew!), a wide variety of problems, etc. She gave me several excellent referrals for side-issues and followed up on my care and concerns. She spends a lot of time answering all of my questions, was respectful, energetic, a thorough and thoughtful listener, and did not seem bothered at all but rather happy while dealing with my two very small children which accompanied me to my appointment. I should say that I have not had as good care with other physicians there, but mostly, I hate telling my medical story over and over to each new doctor I see. This doctor intends on being there for a while, she assured me. I hope so! I should note that I have not had ANY problems with scheduling but once in the past three years. It ironically worked out to my benefit, as they had mistakenly put me down in their records for 11 instead of 1...1 o'clock didn't work for me so the follow-up call was awesome to receive! I love that they see people Saturday mornings if you call first-thing, as they are appointment only. I feel that a place I can walk to if I choose not to drive that provides superb care is well worth giving five stars to. I will suggest that if they take you back and you have children, make it very clear that unless the doctor is going to see you promptly, you will stay in the (child-friendly, lots of toys in one area) waiting room. I once waited for a solid hour in the exam room (very not child proofed naturally) with a screaming baby...because a doctor later admitted she was "catching up with an old patient I hadn't seen in a while. I didn't know you had a baby with you." I NEVER saw that doctor again... In addition, I see a superb neurologist in the very same building and part of the same system, Dr. Hollander. Highly recommend him. He is well-familiar and absolutely of "in-town Boston care" quality. Thank you Malden for having Dr. Newhall...and Hollander!

The care of the physician is not a problem but dealing with the staff is a nightmare. In the 5 times dealing with them, they have made 4 errors in scheduling. The have had to cancel appts, reschedule, and given me incorrect information regarding a test. They have no regard for your time and could care less about the impact their errors make. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I don't know why there are negative reviews. My Dr, nurses staff and pharmacy are always friendly…read morekind and courteous.

This review is for the CBHC Malden Adult Psychiatry office. While I understand that healthcare…read moreenvironments can be demanding, I have observed a consistent pattern of conduct that significantly detracts from the patient experience. My interactions with the front desk personnel have frequently been characterized by an absence of warmth or professionalism. There appears to be a general lack of common courtesy and respect, which is particularly concerning given the sensitive nature of a behavioral health setting. Patients seeking care here may be grappling with anxiety, depression, or other significant challenges, and the demeanor of the initial point of contact can profoundly impact their comfort and willingness to engage with services. Beyond direct interactions, there have also been notable issues with professionalism in their presentation and communication. In-person, their appearance often lacks the expected standard for a healthcare environment. Furthermore, telephone interactions have been equally disheartening; calls are frequently met with an abrupt tone, impatience, and audible sighs when questions are posed, which is both off-putting and unprofessional. Such consistent behavior from the frontline staff not only creates an unwelcoming atmosphere but also undermines the trust and comfort patients need, potentially exacerbating their vulnerabilities. It is my sincere hope that these observations can lead to a re-evaluation of front desk protocols and staff training to ensure a more supportive, respectful, and professional environment for all individuals seeking care at the CBHC Malden Adult Psychiatry office.
