My girlfriend was just ripped a new one over a group chat which is HIGHLY unprofessional to even have if you are in the healthcare profession....because of bacon and dirty laundry. Now I don't know exactly what goes on during day shift but I'm very sure that it's not so busy that you can't chuck a load of laundry into the washing machine and forget about it until the machine goes off and reminds you to switch it over. But no. These grown adults who are literally being paid by the government are choosing to sit on their butts and complain in a group chat like a bunch of snobby high schoolers. Now I'm no genius but in my mind maybe if the other shifts would help each other instead of sit on their dead butts and gossip about what one shift isn't doing to the point where the SINGLE person on that shift that's supposed to do everything by themselves gets to the point of a nervous breakdown...maybe that would help.

Money was stolen from the only black man in the house I worked at and when I turned in the incident report for it absolutely NOTHING was done about it. Several of the workers brag about smoking weed both on and off the job and have actually asked other workers if they know where to get other types of drugs (heard this conversation myself), PC's refuse to wear masks in the office around clients when they come in and there was even an incident where I got sick with COVID because they refused to let me isolate my client after he'd been exposed. Please do not ever give your loved ones over to these monsters because it will not end well for them!

Each and every stay has been very pleasant. Students from the university work the front desk and valet along with the onsite restaurant. While the hotel could use some renovations, the students make the stay worth while. I haven't had any major issues and when something came up, they were quick to correct them. On our last visit, I was able to find several used books at $1 each to add to the little library near our Airbnb (in addition to 2 books my son has wanted and 2 finds for myself). The staff have always been kind, helpful, and friendly. We don't always see the dogs, but I'm not worried about that, they just add more character to the space.
