My mother-in-law and I took the 3 hour trail ride today. We drove there from Teton Village, so the…read moredrive was absolutely beautiful to begin with. We left about 6:30am to get there at 7:30 (and we were still 10 minutes late). The last 5 miles are on a dirt road, through absolutely gorgeous country. Just be forewarned that it's a dirt road! They were very gracious and allowed us to join the 3 hour ride, despite being 10 minutes late! They have the cutest dogs! Their big St. Bernard, Teddy demanded belly rubs, which I would have happily given all day. They also have the tiniest little pom I have ever seen! So adorable. All of their horses look so healthy and happy. They are obviously very well cared for. Their facilities are clean and well maintained and all of the employees were friendly and engaging. Our wrangler for the trail ride was knowledgeable and fun to chat with. She was attentive without being overbearing. We stopped several times so she could check our saddles and cinch us up, if needed. I don't have to say that the scenery was insanely beautiful. It's Wyoming in the summer, and the Grand Tetons! I felt completely spoiled coming from CA where everything is currently a shade of brown, and dry. Our horses were very well behaved and made the ride easy. Thank you so much to Swift Creek for a beautiful experience! I got to see parts of Wyoming that I would not have been able to otherwise. I will definitely be coming back!

Good horseback trail ride. Highly recommend if in the Grand Tetons/ Yellowstone NP. We did the 3 hr…read moreride and it was not a nose-to-tale trail ride you are actually riding ( up and down ridges, rocks, creek crossings, mud, ect.). Our guide Owen was great. The horses we were on were Big Kent and Big Tex- both were great and they did well for us and we ( experienced riders) loved it that we actually had to ride them. Horses are nice and fat/healthy. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area

Wow! Worth every penny! We only planned to stay one night but wish we did 2-3! We did the bedroll…read moreand breakfast but they also do customs overnight tours to fishing sites or deeper into Yellowstone. They are the ONLY horseback riding with permits to enter Tetons and Yellowstone . Other Yellowstone horseback riding is through xantera or whatever the main Yellowstone commercial Company that manages all the hotels/restaurants/staff for general stores, very Disneyland/commercial. Wilderness Trails is family owned, rural, one of a kind. We felt like a family on the prairie. They literally plop horse corrals and tents and cooking station in the middle of grand Tetons and Yellowstone on a meadow/prairie like plot of land. All the staff live there in tents and some campers and so you basically join "their family" and live that life. They had a professional chef that came from a Michilin Star restaurant (he was not technically a Michilin chef) but food was amazing and so well Done! We got to eat with our horse wranglers and the chef and felt like part of their family. They all had their own dog and my kids had so much fun running around with all The doggies:) they had a warm outdoor like shower and you are in the middle of nature bathing amd my daughter said it was the best shower of her life! It was my 7 year olds first time horseback riding and she did just fine! My other kids were 10 and 12-they wanted to "live there" and asked if we could have their bday parties there. Was worth every penny! Wish we planned to stay longer

I would give Hidden Falls 4.5 stars. There are two ways that you can visit Hidden Falls. The first…read moreis my taking the boat over and then it's a very short hike. The other way is hiking to it along Jenny Lake Trail. There are many people who take the boat over and do Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point and then leave. For this reason the first mile of trails after getting off the boat are heavily trafficked with tons of people and families. For this reason, if you do come visit Hidden Falls, I would recommend doing it early in the morning. We did the Cascade Canyon Trail around 8:30am and visited this on the way down around 11:30am and it was packed with people and kids running around so go early to avoid the crowds. The waterfall is beautiful! It's not hidden as the name would suggest since it's highly trafficked. We didn't stay long (only about a minute) because all the people and kids running around took away from the feeling of being surrounded by nature and at peace, although we are glad we went.

This review is for Hidden Falls via String Lake Trail which was a ~4.6 miles round trip that took…read more~2.5 hours to complete. This was a stunning hike from beginning to end. Another popular trail but not overly crowded near end of day. Trail was narrow and flat with a few minor inclines. There was still snow after you cross the last bridge towards the viewpoint of the waterfall but do-able without spikes. The trail does not take you up close to the waterfall but only viewable from a distance. Jenny Lake reminds me of Crater Lake in Oregon; not because of the color but due to the sheer size. Beautiful views of the Teton Range, String Lake, Jenny Lake, Hidden Falls and the surrounding area! Carry bear spray; the chances of encountering a bear is lower at popular trails but you never know. Short video of the hike for those interested! https://youtu.be/meQ4PZFrpCg
