Christian & Johnson - Amazing flower arrangement! - Florists Near Me - Chico, California

This review is specific to flower arrangements/delivery. I wanted a unique arrangement and C&J created the loveliest bouquet for a friend who came through in a pinch. I'll see if she has any photos I can add later, but it is easily the best bouquet I've ever ordered online. Not ever going to another floral shop. THANK YOU. read more

No we do not live in Walnut Grove! Nice trying to blame a long car ride. The flowers remained in our a/c house & were taken care of exactly as you instructed. I don't feel like your response is an apology, rather a way to look better online. You have not made a customer out of us, or anyone we know! read more

My children always order flowers from C&J for me for Mother's Day, or my birthday. The bouquets are always absolutely gorgeous. My family thinks they are the best. read more

I had requested a very specific Native American floral blanket for my mothers funeral. It was a work of art. The floral designer listened to every word I asked of her and created a stunning Four Directions with a Dream Catcher in center. First of all, let me just say the flowers they sent to my coworker who was in the hospital were absolutely stunning! Secondly, since this was going through my company calibercollision, in Sacramento, They were extremely accommodating and had amazing customer service. Also, since it's for a business I needed desperately an invoice so It could be expensed. I left him a voicemail thinking, hey maybe they'll call me in a day or two. Nope! The very next morning a text comes through my cell phone with the invoice. I couldn't be more happier with the service, and they also made me look good at my job by getting the invoice posted in a timely manner. Thank you so much and if the opportunity arises I will use you guys again and recommend you to any friends and family! read more

I bought an orchid for a Christmas present. To be delivered Saturday, the day before Christmas. No other Florist in Chico was willing or able to deliver the day before Christmas. Well it was going to a long term care home. Orchid never got delivered the day it was suppose to be delivered. My family asked about the orchid at the long term care home, nobody knew anything. I called and left a message at the florist, but they were closed. Well the next day (Christmas day) the florist called the long term care home and they got the orchid found and it was delivered. Thank you Christian and Johnson! Your awesome! I know where I will be ordering flowers and or orchids in the future! read more

I phoned my order to Christian and Johnson ( from Michigan) for a next day delivery of a Birthday bouquet. It was a pleasure talking with the person on the phone who helped me chose what to send. I said I wanted it to be interesting and not predictable. My niece sent a photo of my sister's flowers and I was just ever so pleased! There were all sorts of textures and wonderful plum and pink colors and a sheer ribbon that made it all pop. Little stones at the bottom of the vase. My sis loves them. I give this experience a 5 star rating. Thank you, Christian and Johnon read more

Today I received a bouquet my 86 year old mother ordered . She paid 85.00 this came with a bunch of filler leaves , one opened dry lavender rose and in a glass jar which looks like the 99 cent store. Concerned I called the owner whom said she would make a different one and have it delivered . 5 minutes later she texted ( not called ) saying she would call my mother (offer refund ) and told me to keep this disgusting arrangement which looks like funeral flowers or get well poor customer service . I do not recommend Christian & Johnson florist ever, customer service does. It exist . The evening before I received a call that flowers were ready ( 3:45 and was I home . I was not . Sk I was told they would deliver in am . So this morning I received a call from Delivary guy - who states will you be home? I told them evening before. He went on to say I'm very busy ( he cared more about how busy he was and my goodness we wouldn't want to put him out. Just not very nice people . I received a text that she would send someone out to pick it up . I never read it and my doorbell rang upsetting my lhasas Apsos and it was her designer comming to take it back Christian & Johnson's , poor service and drama. My son stopped by asked if this was flowers sent from grandma , he says wow very skimpy . We see beautiful flowers online and what a misrepresentation of their flowers . Customer service poor . read more

With exceptional customer service and fabulous floral arrangements, the folks at Christian and Johnson came through for me, an out of towner, with a same day delivery that was so well received by my friend in Chico, that when she called to thank me, we both had tears in our eyes! So, after driving around looking for their new location, we finally arrive. We are looking to purchase a small flower arrangement and have it delivered to someone in Enloe. We tell them not too big, we don't want it to be overwhelming to someone in the hospital in tight quarters. We mention sunflowers. So, a small arrangement of sunflowers. Almost 100 dollars later, I ask if the florist would mind snapping a picture of the arrangement and texting it to me. She says, Um, no... we do not offer that service. Now mind you, I did not ask her to do a photo shoot with the recipient at Enloe. I asked for one picture. I basically was curious to see what100 dollar sunflowers looked like. But, they don't offer that service. Ok, no problem. Next time I'll go to Flowers By Rachelle for half the money and twice the customer service. read more

We live in Florida and needed to send flowers to our daughter in law who had just had a baby. I absolutely adore Christian & Johnson! Whenever I need a gift or a little something for my office, 9 times out of 10 they will have a little vase or tea towel or wreath that fits the bill perfectly. I also love that everything changes seasonally. As for flowers, you couldn't ask for a better florist. I had my wedding flowers done here and anytime I need a get-well, thank you, or birthday bouquet, I always know it will be beautiful, of great quality, and absolutely perfect. Highly recommended by a staff member at Chico State. I called from out of town to order an arrangement for my daughter's art show on campus. Bethany was helpful and friendly taking my order. She even asked if I wanted my dollar limit to include shipping or flowers only. A small detail, but very thoughtful. On the day of the event, a staff member (I'm sorry I can't remember her name!) called to tell me the driver had trouble finding where to deliver the flowers, but she assured me they were there and if there was anything else she could help me do, to call back. Admittedly, I was kind of freaking out, but she was calm and that was reassuring. The arrangement was beautiful! It was colorful and fancy. And it was where it needed to be. Thank you, Christian & Johnson!! read more

Sent my cousin flowers last minute on a Saturday and they were so on it and the bouquet was gorgeous!! She loved it! Great customer service

I love this store!!!! I have had nothing but the most amazing customer service every time I come in or call in an order for flowers. I love the card selection, the flowers are exquisite and the arrangements are so phenomenally gorgeous!!! The trinkets and decorations they have are cute and fun to browse as well!!! Went into C & J this evening to help a friend purchase a retirement gift. We picked a nice vase and asked if a small flower arrangement could be made for the vase. We were told, "Any other time I would, but we close in 5 minutes and it will take 10. Sorry I have friends coming over." We had already been in the store for 15 minutes looking around- no one offered any help or suggestions. I've lived in Chico for nearly 20 years and purchased flowers here many times. After this experience I will find a new florist. read more

If you live out of town and are sending flowers to someone, this is the place. Beautiful arrangements and fast delivery has made me look good on Mother's Day more times than I'd like to admit. They're really nice on the phone and have great suggestions. They always satisfy your needs. I have never gone anywhere else in Chico and never plan on it. They always have fresh flowers and roses and will make anything that you would like. Thank you thank you thank you, Christian & Johnson. You saved Mother's Day! Hannah, you're awesome! I can't thank you enough for taking care of me! I made the mistake of ordering Mother's Day flowers from 1800flowers.com. They sent me an email on the Friday afternoon before Mother's Day to tell me that they were too busy to ship my order in time for the holiday, but they could get them there the following Tuesday. Well, that kind of misses the point, now, doesn't it? Anyways, so since my mom lives in Chico, I went to Yelp to find a shop that might be able to take my order on the Friday evening before Mother's Day and get the flowers there on time. Hannah took my call and was extremely accommodating, given the (unintentional) short notice. I gave her a vague description of what I was looking for and she came up with a great flower package for my mom. I basically asked her to choose something that she would send to her mom. Ordinarily I would not put this kind of trust into a shop that I have never been to or dealt with before, but I got a good feeling from Hannah after speaking with her for a few minutes and telling her my sorry tale of woe after dealing with 1800 Flowers. I asked that the delivery person call my mom before attempting delivery, so that they don't waste their time going over when my mom was out shopping. When they attempted delivery, my mom wasn't home and also didn't answer her phone. They left a message for her to call back to arrange a delivery time. My mom called back and worked out a delivery time and then Hannah called me back to let me know what was happening and that they had arranged a delivery time with my mom. Whoa! I think I may have heard about this before. I think it's called customer service. Needless to say, I was ecstatic that they took care of my order exactly the way I wanted and was really pleased at how they kept me informed of the delivery status. This is exactly the sort of experience that you want when delivering flowers for a special occasion. Next year, I know who I'll be calling for my Mother's Day flower delivery! Thanks again, Hannah! My mom called me yesterday to say that she loved the flowers and they are perfect to plant in her garden (I ordered azaleas planted in a decorative pot.) She had actually planned to go flower shopping this week, but we saved her the trouble. Extra points for Dave. ;) read more

Wow, very impressed! I was looking for a very last minute birthday gift for a relative in Chico and found C&J website. Our company has had the pleasure to use Christian & Johnson for several occasions. We have had very specific requirements for arrangements with a delivery time that had a narrow window. I must say that our needs are always met and expectations exceeded. We always receive many comments from customers about the beautiful arrangements and gifts. They have quickly become a staple to our holiday giving, so much so that clients start asking about them months in advance. We are so grateful for the job they do and look forward to our next order! read more

I just placed an out-of-town phone order with Christian & Johnson (whom I chose based on other reviews), and the woman who answered the phone spent over 10 minutes (at my request) describing in great detail the different types of arrangements and plants I could purchase in my price range. It is rare to receive this level of service from most florists today. I highly recommend Christian & Johnson when placing an order from out of town. read more

The owner, Melissa, goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Her shop is always filled with unique gifts, pretty paperie, and--of course--the freshest, most beautiful flowers. Their staff goes above and beyond. Their gift wrap is stunning. Their delivery service is great. I have photographed several weddings, and her arrangements are--by far--the most gorgeous I've seen! Highly recommend! read more
