I had a specific flower I wanted to send to my sister who lives in Chico. For many years, our father gave my sister white poinsettias for her birthday which is near Christmas. After our father passed, I picked up the torch to ensure my sister got her traditional birthday flowers. I live in SoCal so I had to set things up by remote. I tried the conglomerate florists who either didn't have white poinsettias or showed on their website they had them but then, after making an order, notified me they weren't going to fill my order. I called Chico Florist and Krista the owner answered. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She made a recommendation and let me know she did have the white poinsettias in stock. I called to order an arrangement for my daughter's best friend who was home in hospice surrounded by her family, children and loved ones with only days to live. I could barely get through placing the order as I was crying so hard because I knew this beautiful young woman would die any moment. The lovely owner said that is ok, I promise I will take really good care of this. My daughter, who has seen many floral arrangements, just sent a picture of the incredibly beautiful arrangement saying that is the most beautiful she has ever seen. I cannot recommend Chico Florist more. My father was very ill at Enloe on February 14th (a Sunday) and he asked me that morning to get a bouquet for my mother. I called Chico Florist and they immediately agreed to do one for us, even given the last minute nature and the fact that they were very busy. The bouquet was beautiful - white and purple roses with amazing greenery. The owner even delivered it to the hospital for us as we were waiting with my parents for my father's surgery. Over the next few days, we had Enloe employees coming from other parts of the hospital to see the flowers as word got around. Highly, highly recommend using them. read more
