From the very beginning he was extremely responsive, first through Yelp and then by text and phone. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. He came out to me, carefully assessed the damage, and gave me an efficient and fair estimate. While working on my car, he also found a few additional issues I didn't even realize needed attention. He explained everything clearly and only added a very fair charge because I asked him to take care of those items too. Best of all, he completed everything in less than two hours. He repaired my trunk, fixed the front fender so it finally stays in place, and even touched up the paint. He also documented the repair and, after asking for my permission, filmed my reaction when I saw the finished result. I was honestly very impressed. Scheduling was super chill. When the day came, Kevin realized they'd get the best results at his shop instead of in front of my house, so he left me the keys to his car and took mine to the shop. It was done like 2.5 hours early and it looks fantastic. The other dent fixing places made it seem like such a big deal, and Kevin just fixed it right up with no fuss. Unfortunately, I'm really unhappy with the paint job I received and just want people to be able to…read moreset expectations. I requested a quote for repair of a bunch of rock chips on the front fender of my car. We met, discussed the plan to fill in the chips with paint, and I understood it wasn't going to look perfect by any means, but seemed like the color would at least be a close match again. Literally 30 minutes later I got a call the job was done and came out to what looked like grayish White Out had been quickly dabbed onto each of the rock chips. I was kind of shocked at how it looked and asked what else could be done to which he basically replied "this color is really hard to match so I can sand/paint the whole front bumper, but it still won't match the rest of the car" so didn't really seem like a solution at all. A few things. I understand there are material costs of doing the job, but for 30 minutes of labor and a poor outcome I think $400 was nuts even though this was cheaper than other quotes. If the color of my car (stock Lexus pearl white) was too difficult to match, he could've just said so before putting paint on my car. Again, if the number of rock chips was too many to fix, I wish he would've just said that before beginning or after the first one. Lastly, I was just very annoyed with the offered "solution". Tony was a really nice guy and I do feel like I went into this with realistic expectations, but now my $60k car looks like it has grayish chicken pox all over the front and I'm pretty angry. Just want to leave this here so anyone else in a similar situation can take a look at the close-up and set appropriate expectations before proceeding.
