The Nurse Practitioners are AWESOME (I'd trust any of them to do surgery one me, they are that smart). The nurses and office staff are friendly, caring, and efficient. Like every doctor's office, if you have an appointment later in the day you sometimes have to wait because they get behind, but in the six years I have been going there I have learned that the reasons are: 1) They take as much time as is needed with each patient; when I have needed extra attention, I got it. And, 2) if you are really sick or need to get in quick, they will squeeze you in. Dr. Chaffee is a great doctor. I'd almost call him a friend. When he sees me, it's like we just saw each other the day before because he remembers everything we talked about, medical and otherwise. He is thorough, he makes great referrals to specialists when needed, and he really seems to know everything a family practitioner should know. I am 100% confident in him.

He finally sent me to a specialist, who gave me meds to help me breathe easier. He diagnosed my mother with the anxiety, but when she was complaining of heart flutters and jaw pain. Momma finally pushed and was sent to a cardiologist. The cardiologist found she'd been having small heart attacks and had 50% of her heart left and an artery was 100% blocked. Within a week of that finding, she was gone. Had Dr. Humphreys known what heart disease looked like in women, there is a good chance my mom would still be here. IF YOU ARE FEMALE, DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.

They very unprofessionally replied to a review on another platform, calling me a "jerk" and doubling down on the theory that masks give you Covid-19, and telling me to turn off CNN. The punctuation and spelling in their reply was horrible. Their reply was also accusatory, inflammatory, and rude. I can only hope and assume that the reply was penned by a low level administrative assistant, it was pretty awful. If they cannot capitalize, punctuate, and spell things correctly while attacking me responding to my Google review, what else are they incapable of? Just ask him, he'll tell you he knows better than any and everyone. We don't have to see him often since our health is good, but I am always amazed at how he remembers personal details about our lives that we have shared with him in the past.
