She and her team were friendly, and professional all at the same time. It was apparent that the young lady that the team was photographing was having a great time. The photographer and her two team members absolutely worked seamlessly around the kids in the park without disturbing anyone. The best part is this: My 4-year-old granddaughter was enamored with the process! She would walk up and sit next to the teen that was getting her pictures taken, and Sharon handled it like a pro. Every time I turned my head, there she was over there again asking more questions, getting in the way, and be treated so sweetly by the team the teen and the photographer! Sharon finally asked if it was alright if she took Millie's photo, and I agreed, and Millie BEAMED! Millie took a couple of pictures with the teen that had hired the photographer, with the permission of the teen and me. Sharon said she'd send me the photos for free. So I haven't hired her, but she's clearly all-star and an asset to her community she also works great with teens and hyper 4-year-olds :D. I haven't seen the photo yet, so I can't speak to the quality of the photo, but I CAN say she probably took 100 different poses during the shoot with the teen while I was in the park, and I left before she did.

We had a multi-part itinerary visiting multiple lakes in the Mount Hood area.  We were blessed with clear skies and a fresh coat of snow at Trillium Lake that day, making for a stunning background.  Marci has a great eye for finding spots along with the right backgrounds, color contrasts, etc. and using a wide variety of poses and angles.  I think we even went over time, but she was so passionate about enjoying nature and her craft that she insisted we go to one more destination.  We ended up with a bonus shot under a waterfall! The shots turned out beautifully as well, both source and processing (+according to my fiancée who has high standards for this).  Marci sends both a complete USB and physical prints of her pictures, giving the best of both worlds.  We used several of the prints at our wedding.  I can't recommend her more highly.

We live on a farm with two rambunctious boys, and we need pictures of everything living. Marci shows up wearing jeans and a smile (always), and takes a few minutes to look around, check the setting and lighting and then she explains how this is going to go down. She also makes it fun for the kids (because if you have young children, you know how challenging it can be to get everyone to buy in). After our first shoot, our cows were ready to carry her bags home for her, and by the end of our last session our oldest (4 years) was ready to be her understudy. If you need a fun, experienced photographer who captures *beautiful* moments with your family or animals, we highly recommend her.

His style is artistic/journalistic in that he captures candid, well-composed shots but will also suggest that you adjust your body so you don't look completely awkward. My sister's wedding photographer wouldn't do that, and we ended up looking pretty awkward in a few shots (e.g., necks stretched, hands in weird places). His turn around time was AMAZING- we had our digital images in a couple of weeks. Many photographers guarantee your digital photos within the YEAR but quicker if you buy very expensive prints/albums from them. Chris is an honest businessman AND a talented artist. Even more, he's a pleasure to be around, and that goes a long way in the stressful hustle and bustle of your wedding day.

She was responsive to email, texts and phone calls, and came in with clear organization and could offer suggestions when prompted (I am neither a photographer nor a creative person, and she was very encouraging and could provide clear directions for where I needed to be and why). Her turn-around time on getting photos to us after the wedding was very reasonable, and additionally she posted a few 'teaser' photos for folks in the interim to keep requests at bay and grow anticipation. Jaime is friendly, open to new ideas and very flexible, and I would recommend her services to anyone. We also had Jaime do our engagement photos, for which she was willing to travel, met us at three different sites over the course of the morning/early afternoon, and encouraged props/outfit changes/fun poses. She is a ton of fun, and brought everything she needed so that we could take photos anywhere. Best customer service ever.

I wanted something outdoors this time and thought the coast would be perfect. I contacted Shannon and from the very first email, she was so friendly, professional, upbeat and personable. I emailed her no short of 20 times to ask opinions on outfits, locations, dates/times and she responded promptly and with enthusiasm every time! She made sure I felt important which was nice. Flash forward to the day of my shoot, I decided to opt for hair and makeup by the person she recommends, Sarah Bradshaw. I am very hesitant about getting my makeup done because I am picky and don't want to be disappointed. I sent a photo over of the look I wanted and Sarah nailed it. She did such an amazing job!! She made me feel beautiful and is extremely talented. She is also super sweet and down to Earth, which made the entire experience fun. Shannon was also there for the entire "getting ready" portion to chit chat and get to know me which was awesome. Shannon definitely scouts out the best places for the photos and spent way over the average amount of time shooting my photos to ensure we captured the best light for each location. She would climb all over the woods, rocks, beach - just to get the best shot. She makes you feel extremely comfortable the entire time which helps bring out the best photos. If anyone is still reading this long review, I haven't even gotten to the actual photos. They are simply the most amazing photos I've ever seen! She captured the beauty of the coast and the exact look and feel that I wanted for this memory. My Mom, who came along, also had the best time. I would highly recommend Rustic Bloom Photography for any of your future photography needs!
