Where to BEGIN! For one, stay away if you prefer quality, friendly doctors and nurses. Stay far away.....
1. Our family just moved to the area from another state about 45 days ago with my being 30 weeks preggo at the time and less than an ideal timeframe for switching OB's amongst other specialists, I figured, how bad could it be. Boy was I WRONG!
2. Let's start from the waiting room. What kind of friendly, welcoming environment does a sliding Plexiglas partition say about your business in helping a patient feel welcome? Are we in the hood here? Do I need to be worried about someone coming in to demand money from the receptionist? SO obnoxious!
One of the best inventions made by man was central air. Why on EARTH is it that each and every time I come in here is the air so stuffy and HOT?? You are dealing with pregnant women here with very little tolerance for heat amongst just about every other annoyance in the world. Turn on the AC!!
There is a "T.V." in the waiting room BUT don't expect to wait that TYPICAL HOUR PAST your appointment time with a little Fox News, Live with Kelly, etc. Noooooooooo....... we must suffer through some sort of OBGYN documentary on soft stool, your aging ovaries, etc. JUST what I want to hear or watch..... You nailed it! Poor husbands.... and US!
Ahhhh, and the frosting on the cake out here would have to be the DELIGHTFUL receptionists that are employed here. I am being sarcastic of course because I have YET to meet a nice, friendly employee all of the way up to the doctors at this place. Appalled at the lack of professionalism here.
3. Cleanliness: YUK! I can not believe that this place is cleaned on a regular basis. There is no way. Trash overflows the bathrooms, you pee into a Dixie cup without a lid, the walls, floors and equipment in the exam rooms are SO DISGUSTING. There are holes and rips all over the tables that we have to lie on, NAKED. Horrible. Just gross.
4. Nurses and Doctors: Have waited over an hour past my appointment times more than once in my whopping 4 visits before I was seen. No apologies or questions as to how I was feeling or what the hold up was, nothing. No accountability whatsoever. Bedside manner is awful. AWFUL! This is NOT my first child. We came from a state out west and were treated like ROYALTY each and every time we had an appointment and I feel like we SHOULD BE! This, being here, is how I was treated at the VA hospital from being in the military but with a DMV type attitude. It's obvious that these people don't care about the quality of their establishment and I will certainly not be coming back after this baby is born and of course will not recommend a soul here. I really do miss the doctors I dealt with in Colorado from every specialty since I have a few from other ailments. That state just has an all around better quality from the ground, up. No question. This state could learn a lot...... read more
