I found this office because it was on a list of 'menopause specialists' that I found on Reddit, in…read morethe 'menopause' subreddit's Wiki. Specialists, ha! I haven't been seen by Doctor Diane but I have seen by PA Stacey a handful of times and I ended up seeking Hormone Replacement Therapy elsewhere because I wasn't getting it here. Every time I've expressed a concern, it is met with: 'Sign up for our weight loss classes!' or: 'Schedule some sessions with these med-spa machines!' I'm in my 40's, and I'm not an idiot. I know how to lose weight, but my hormones are diminishing and *that* is why calories in / calories out is not working. 'Move more, eat less' doesn't work after Perimenopause sets in. I don't need expensive med-spa machines to vibrate and contract my muscles for me, and I don't need Dieting 101 classes to tell me how to eat and exercise. I *need* these diminished hormones to be replaced so that my body can function optimally. I don't know how this office can be considered a 'menopause specialist' facility if they refuse to provide HRT for patients who are clearly experiencing hardcore Perimenopause and are lacking in progesterone, estrogen & testosterone.

Oh no! What could improve. Everything..total nightmare going to this physicians office.Oh my God!…read morethis practice is absolutely terrible. First off any PSR that actually does their job knows that your supposed to be verifying insurance upon every appt. Secondly they shut their phones down after 2. At times I've attempted to call after 12 and the phone has been manually turned off with a message saying that they are no longer taking calls. But they're there in the office supposedly until 4. What kind of make shift operation is this office running? I'm not even a new patient and they totally screwed up. They scheduled me for surgery with Dr Sutter on February 14. They tell me to go and get pre surgical testing and Clearence thru my primary. Then they call me and say no we'll try for February 21. So I go and get all this testing done. I do all this running around. Get picked with needles only for this office to call me late in the afternoon the day of my surgical pre testing after I already did everything to tell me that Dr Sutter isn't credentialed with my insurance. WHAT? You got to be kidding me. Oh my God. Who in their right mind does that to a patient that needs surgery? Please go elsewhere. Save yourself the aggravation and extremely poor excuses for the lack of a better word lack of professionalism and ethical integrity.. They have a zillion of excuses why they operate this office the way they do none of which that are beneficial to their patients. And just for the record I have 20 years as a PSR. Verifying a patients insurance is the first thing you do. And any PSR that's does his or her job well knows to check it every time and they copy the card

I went here specifically looking for a removal. I looked at the website to double check they do…read moresuch things and they do, I called them and asked if they do a removal and they said yes. I went to my appointment, got asked a ton of personal questions just for them to tell me they do not have the "materials" to do my removal. I did my research. I called ahead. This place is NOT TRAUMA INFORMED. They do NOT allow you to make your own decisions and respect your body autonomy. I was told word for word "we don't like to do removals unless there is a plan for you to get on another birth control". Last I checked, I am allowed to make my own decisions. The next week, I went somewhere else to get my procedure done told them my experience and the doctors were repulsed by my experience. If other DOCTORS are upset at this experience, I don't know what else with convince you not to come here. Please don't go here unless you would like to leave violated.

It's important to me that my health care providers take an active role in my health journey - I want to know that they are willing to hear me out, answer questions, and do some investigating when necessary because I don't like passively taking care of my health, or symptom treating. I feel very confident that Dr. Smyers is on that journey with me. This is her private practice, and I believe she only does gynecology, no obstetrtics, so I would only head to her if you don't plan to have any (or any more) children. Comfortable office, and friendly staff. Big fan here.

I was told by the Buffalo Yelpers that it's super duper awesome when men review OB-GYNs and I hate…read moreto disappoint my fellow community members, so here I go. This is the first in my series of OB-GYN reviews, I'm going to do maybe 70 total in the next few weeks, actually slightly less than 70 but definitely more than 68. In all seriousness, Dsouza Marcelino is a Brazilian (I assume) who is really friendly and good at his job. I talked to him at great length, and he gave me all kinds of advice about cancers and boobies and basically helped me become more healthy. He also saved the life of someone very special to me. He's someone I trust to go to whenever I need medical advice, and he is extremely generous with his time. I wouldn't necessarily recommend him to you, he's an acquired taste, I think he would appeal more to open-minded types that aren't easily offended. If you're looking for this type of OB-GYN then give him a try. However I am definitely giving him the highest possible rating because he saved the life of someone that means a lot to me. He noticed that she wasn't doing too well and spotted her cancer, which was then surgically removed and taken care of. This is someone that never went to screenings and never got checked out, so Dsouza had a very limited window of opportunity to spot the potentially fatal problem, and he did so, and he should be proud of himself and I am very grateful to him. And while I do like the Apache and the Navajo, I think Dsouza more famous.
