The food her is absolutely amazing! I've gone twice so far and I highly recommend the pork belly special or bulgogi plate. The service was also great, the waitress was so nice. Where to start!!! First of all we went here for my cousins bday dinner and the service was amazing! And the owner she came to our table and helped us decide what to pick and what's a better bang for our buck MY FAVORITE was the kimchi rice the roasted chicken and the garlic sauce ugh so good and then the cheesy FRIES AND BULGOGI?!?! u better try that like seriously cause the flavor was amazing on that one I just wanna thank the owner too she was so sweet and very helpful! I also like that you get to serve your own water lol cause sometimes I just need a lot of water For warning this place is a bit pricey but it's totally worth it in my opinion what's even better it's open in super late too! Really great late night spot! There's not too many restaurants opened so late. Food portions are really big, so it explains for part of the price. The food is pretty standard Korean food. Kimchi pancake was so good, fluffy with crispy edges. The rice cakes were ok, the rice cakes weren't very chewy and it was pretty spicy. I really like their roasted fried chicken! It's very crispy and juicy inside. It's also healthier than typical fried chicken because this one doesn't have flour coated it. It's simply crispy skin! The food here is very delicious, just that the fried chicken stood out so much. read more

I absolutely LOVE this spot It's a perfect spot to eat some amazing Korean gastropub food with friends, especially after a concert at SoFi or Kia forum nearby. They're open until 2am, so that's a huge plus when our friends are trying to decide where to have some midnight munchies. They're called "chon dak" for a reason -- their whole fried chicken is a must-have. We also got their chondak smoked chicken dish, which was also just as good. Both chicken dishes came with their house made sauces: spicy house tanch, sweet chili, and yuzu mustard. All of them were spectacular, but my personal favorite was the yuzu mustard. The staff was super friendly, especially the owner. She was so bright, attentive, and cheerful. She made sure to always check in on our table. We're definitely coming back way more often! read more

Second time here & it's our fave neighborhood eatery! We tried the roasted chicken the first time and it was phenomenal--juicy and so perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. We had to try again as we loved their sweet, spicy sauce the first time we came. We got the fried chicken with the sweet and spicy sauce this time, and it didn't disappoint. The service is great (while water is self-service) & their side dishes were good as well. Free parking in a lot, and the ambiance is like any other pub. read more

Really good food although very expensive in my experience with Korean food. We had the beef Bulgogi glass noodle dish delicious and the Korean fried chicken wings. The chicken wings were sticky crispy and delicious .Waitress was very nice, but we didn't see much of her. There was a party of 25 seated near us that had been drinking heavily and they were quite loud. read more

Here are 3 reasons why you should eat here #1 Grilled Pork Belly | This was one of my favorites. That thiccc cut pork belly was so good. I couldn't stop eating it. #2 Spicy Kimchi Stew | can't go wrong with army stew fix. I love how it came with big chunks of spam and tofu #3 Kimchi Fried Rice | comes with fried egg. The corn cheese did not come with it, but you can order it and add onto it like I did. You won't regret it. We decided to eat here after the Roots Picnic at the Hollywood Bowl since it was closer to my boyfriend's house. Upon entering, there was one couple who was just finishing up their meal and the wait staff was nowhere to be found. We almost backed out and tried to look for another restaurant but finally, two servers saw us and proceeded to sit us and brought out some menus. I'm glad we stayed. We ordered the grilled pork belly, cheese corn, soy garlic wings and kimchi fried rice. They brought over a personal burner and grill so we can cook the pork belly. Service was a bit spotty but the food is delicious. The Korean fried chicken wings were bomb and the also the pork belly. Maybe I'd come back here if we'd arrive earlier in the evening than past 1am. The kimbap was as expected, it was flavorful, had a slight crunch (from the pickled radish) and didn't fall apart easily while eating. It comes with a dipping sauce but it wasn't particularly noteworthy and I didn't feel it is required to use. The cold noodles were a bit different this time but overall had the same flavor. It comes with half an egg, pickled vegetables, slices of cucumber, and slices of meat in an icy broth with buckwheat noodles. Be sure to add the mustard and vinegar for added flavor. The side of galbi was as expected, but doesn't arrive sizzling like at many other Korean restaurants. The flavor can vary, sometimes more flavorful than other times but overall it still pairs well with the cold noodle. Service can be a bit spotty, especially when they only have one server doing everything. It can be hard to flag someone down so be prepared to sit around for a while if they have less staff and many customers. Overall not a dealbreaker but just something to be aware of.
