For the past 45 years, I've struggled to find prescription glasses that truly work for my unique vision challenges. My vision changes throughout the day due to muscle fluctuations, and despite seeing countless specialists--optometrists, ophthalmologists, cornea, retina, and glaucoma experts--no one could get it right. That changed when I walked into Perspectacles. David and his team were the first to listen carefully to my history and create lenses with the correct strengths for near, mid, and distance vision. Their patience, expertise, and commitment gave me something I never thought possible: a new lease on my vision. I work on a computer for up to 20 hours at a stretch and spend extended periods driving--both of which were constant struggles. Thanks to Perspectacles, I now have the perfect pair of computer and driving glasses that allow me to do my job and live my life comfortably. The quality of their work is unmatched, but what truly sets them apart is how much they care. They took the time to understand what has and hasn't worked for me over decades and used that knowledge to craft the perfect solution. When I first started going to sound relief hearing center, I had 40% word recognition and tinnitus,…read moreafter using their hearing aids and following their protocols, I am now deaf in my right ear and have only 8% word recognition and my tinnitus is absolutely unbearable. My only option now is a cochlear implant. I have had to undergo painful invasive injections and treatments, but unfortunately I am now deaf. After having my hearing aids tested, which now I was told by 2 Neurotologists that I should never have been wearing 2 hearing aids since my left ear is 100%, the hearing aid machines showed that the settings were set above the safe settings and I did take a picture of that. I am now in the process of speaking to 2 local news stations as well as one national news station to get my story out. My insurance paid $4,200 and I paid $4,200 out of pocket for 2 hearing aids, and my Neurologist said I am lucky I didn't damage my good ear and showed me the price being only $600. They are ripping people off! After confronting the owner, she said she would give me a refund for my hearing aids and that I just needed to sign a form to retract the payment for the insurance, when I got to the facility, the form had nothing to do with the insurance, it was a liability release protecting them! Please beware!!! I'd hate for anyone else to end up deaf like me with horrendous tinnitus.

My Mother purchased her hearing aids from Zounds, the office Manager Nicole was great when…read morepurchasing them. My Mother has been in several times to get the hearing aids fixed, the standard reply for them was that they had wax in them and needed to be cleaned, and when she got them back, they worked for a few days. Since January 2021, I have taken her in 4 times to have them repaired, and once for a hearing test to see if they need to be re-programmed, today we went back in because one of her hearing aids wouldn't work again. They person in the front office behind the counter took the hearing aid in back and came back and stated that they needed to replace the wire in it, that it would be $79 for the wire. They didn't come out before changing it to say what was wrong, they just replaced it. The wire is only warrantied for a year after purchase, according to them and stated that she had signed a paper stating that. While we were talking to her, the manager Nicole came our from the back and said that was all explained in the paperwork, comparing their work to having work done on a car, that you have to pay for it, they said that if we didn't want to pay for it that they would put the old wire back on. When my Mom had hearing aids from Costco, they always fixed them, the only reason she got new ones is because the old ones finally wore out. Nicole's response was "well, then why don't you go back to where you bought the old ones...". I paid the cost of the wire, but the hearing aids warranty will expire next month, so I guess that we will have to shop elsewhere for new ones. We did research before buying these hearing aids, because they were made in Arizona we went to them, instead of Miracle Ear because they were made in Minnesota, turn around time if one of them breaks is important. If you are looking for a hearing aid, go anywhere else than Zounds, unless you like being treated badly and have hearing aids that need repair often!

After 3 weeks I decided that I was not totally happy with the hearing aids , so I decided to return them. Today I met with Jeff, and after asking my reason for returning them, Jeff was very understanding and have me my refund. He stated his job was to have me hearing better and if his product was not right for me he felt I should try other options. He was very concerned I had the right hearing aids for my hearing problems. Even though Zounds was not right for me, I highly recommend Jeff for his professionalism

I went in for wax removal in my right ear because it It was plugged up …read more I wasn't in the chair for the wax removal 5 minutes and Ariana said I was done I told her I still felt something and instead of looking in one more time she just goes on to tell me it probably some loose skin. I even said so if I keep feeling this can I come back in she said yes. When I walked into the reception area they hadn't finished checking in the person who walked in after me that is how long she spent looking in my ears. This was a Monday . The feeling of wax in there only got worse. I had a busy work week by Thursday night it was clogged up I called Friday left a message like you always have to do and wait for them to call yo back. On Monday I get a call The receptionist got my info said she would have to talk to Ariana and call me back. I got a call back Ariana and was told that Ariana said my ears were clean and I should go see my health care provider I must have an infection. I'll just go to a real ear doctors office and get this looked at. Mary C

Everyone I've encountered at this office is always very friendly and helpful. Their after sale support is amazing and I commend management for fostering an environment conducive to excellent customer service. More importantly, I commend the staff, Ben and Molly on this occasion, for having a caring attitude towards patients and going above and beyond to understand their unique needs and find suitable solutions.
