They broke the price down based on the different paint products available and even offered quotes to replace some damage on our house. We found their prices to be comparable to other painters we got estimates from and were able to choose the kind of paint that gave us the best cost vs effectiveness balance which was nice because some painters are limited to one line of products available. Much to our surprise they called and said that they had availability much sooner than they originally thought and were able to come out the next day to begin painting. After a full day of very thorough prep work they had a crew large enough to paint all of the body in one day and trimmed out the next. The final paint job looks AMAZING! I was so impressed that they came back at a time that was convenient for me to walk the house and discuss any issues that I noticed. There were very few, but they dealt with them immediately and professionally. We couldn't be happier with the job they did and the value we got for repainting our house!

Quality and attention to detail is the standard for every aspect of the work from start to finish. Other painting contractors say they will caulk/seal every joint "that needs it" in prep, but Distinct Painting filled every single seam, joint, and even nail holes in the siding. The painters (I had Andy and Lupe) were efficient, meticulous, thoughtful and unfailingly courteous and polite. The project site was always kept neat and orderly, and the final cleanup was immaculate. When Kane said he would treat my house as if it was his own, he really meant it. After working with them, it's obvious why they're so highly rated! Stuart came out the very next day and provided a fair, competitive quote for painting the exterior. Even my dog liked Stuart, which was a good sign! I can't say the same for the other two companies that came out. The two gentlemen who completed the work didn't just do a good job--they did an EXCEPTIONAL job. I had resigned myself to the idea that some of my 1980s siding would never look great again. I was wrong. The team went above and beyond, sealing every gap and nail hole across the entire exterior. They even applied elastomeric primer to the exposed wood ends to help extend their lifespan. The project took about two days of preparation and painting, and the finished product was absolutely pristine. My neighbors have overspray on their chimneys and brick facades from other painting jobs, but these guys didn't make a single mistake. The tape lines were razor-sharp, there wasn't a drip or a spot of overspray anywhere, and they even carefully taped around my house numbers with an X-Acto knife. Damon, who owns Peakview, put all those concerns to rest. 1) His quote was the most affordable, by far. 2) He was able to start fairly quickly 3) He takes a great deal of pride in his work. He finds all of the spots which need repainting before I did. 4) His lines (between ceiling and wall are impressively straight, no bleed. 5) He kept my house VERY VERY neat. At the end of every day, he'd put all of this tools away in a safe, small corner of our house so that our dogs wouldn't get into them. 6) He's REALLY personable. If you don't like him, there's something wrong with you ;) 7) He's trust worthy. I've had to leave the house multiple times during the job. I could tell that he had been working straight through the time that I had been away. He also kept out of any rooms which weren't part of the painting job (i have security cameras which are hidden...) 8) Did I mention how impressive the paint job looks? Damon does premium work. We had a house that had been a rental for 20 years and it needed painting…read morebadly before we put it up for sale. Not only did it need paint, the walls also needed repair in some areas. Damon used a very critical eye to patch and paint the walls and ceiling and brought them back to where they looked new again. He also removed a small pet door and patched the wall so you couldn't tell there had ever been a pet door there. The exterior of the wall was fixed and painted to match the rest of the exterior, so you had no idea there had been a pet door. Damon also used a product on the woodwork and cabinets to give them a clean, polished look and also toned down previous scratches. He also did other 'handyman' tasks with the same critical eye he had with painting. I also found him personable and trustworthy. He also returned phone calls/emails in a timely manner. After seeing the excellent paint job done on my neighbor's house, I contacted Mike this past…read morespring. He spent about an hour with my wife and I while we toured the outside of our house, offered suggestions on paint schemes, and ultimately gave us an idea of the quantity of supplies, primer, and paint would be needed, along with a "low to high" cost estimate. He doesn't produce a nice glossy report with a warranty like other companies. However he obviously "knows his stuff", and we decided to proceed with him even though the low end of his estimate was more than a couple of other competitors including a Denver business that regularly canvasses Loveland. His crew was excellent. They prepped the house for 4 or 5 days to wash, sand, and spot prime bare spots (PLUS the undersides of all siding boards...not just the bottom 4 feet or so). Then the crew completely primed the exterior (the primer was tinted, not white), applied a thick coat of paint, followed by trim and exterior doors. Mike regularly visited the job site for suggestions for the crew for touch ups. They were steady, polite, hard workers, and cleaned up every night. Ultimately after 6 straight days of work with one weather interruption, the job was done, billed out at the low estimate he had previously given us. I highly recommend him and his crews for anyone looking to have a quality paint job done.
