Justin (estimator) reviewed the preparation and painting process in considerable detail and then provided a quote for the work within the same day. After reading recommendations on the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List, my husband and I specifically asked for painter's Matt and Billy Daniel, which turned out to be a great decision. We paid 25% down and the job was immediately scheduled with our preferred timeline. Rhonda at Sherwin Williams helped us pick out great colors for the body, trim, and accent at a cost of $75 which was reimbursed by Paint Pals. In addition, we used a quart of paint to verify the color and for HOA approval, again covered. Paint Pals administrator Julian contacted us by E-mail providing helpful information on what to expect and how to trim the bushes for the painters, which we followed. Matt met with us to describe what his team would be doing within the next four days, which aligned exactly with what Justin had described. They methodically power washed, scraped, sanded, caulked, and primed the entire house. They carefully sanded the weathered fascia and caulked and primed nearly every piece of siding; very impressive and greatly appreciated! They then painted the body in one day and the trim and gutters the next day, finishing with a final walk through with us before final payment. All in all, Paint Pals did an excellent job painting our home. We found all parts of the process to run smoothly and within the prescribed timeline. The quality of paint used, spraying technique, and coverage was as expected. Everyone we communicated with was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Painters were neat, efficient, and friendly. My wife and I recently used Paint Pals to paint the entire outside of our house (our first time having the house painted since moving in a few years ago), and we had a great experience. They were friendly and professional in all our interactions with them, had competitive pricing, and were flexible and understanding when we ran into challenges with our HOA. They even helped us get a free color consultant who came out to our house to help us choose new colors, along with several free paint samples so we could confirm that everything looked good in person before moving forward. The first day the crew arrived they did an extensive power wash of our house, then spent hours caulking and sealing everything. Not only did they seal a number of gaps in the trim and around windows, but they filled in every single nail hole in our siding (of which there are hundreds). It feels great to know that our house is now well sealed and less likely to have water damage in the future. The painting process itself was very efficient, and the end result looks fantastic. We had several opportunities to walk around and have them fix any spots that might not be perfect, and they seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were satisfied with their work. We had a big painting project, and the estimator was upfront with us about what to expect and how the charges would work. In fact, they presented us several options depending on what we wanted then to paint vs what we were going to paint ourselves eventually. I had a total of 3 estimates from different companies, and Paint Pals was the only one to really break the project down ideally and then had the best rate as well. I was impressed at how thoroughly they taped and caulked. The paint lines between the ceiling and walls are spot on, and around all the windows and door frames. They protected our new carpet and our furniture. I didn't feel like they cut any corners anywhere. There were a couple random spots that needed touching up at the end of the project and Edgar handled them happily. We had a great experience with the team at paint pals. They informed of us how the entire process for painting our deck would go from start to finish. The project was delayed only because we got 4x normal amounts of rain in May so an uncontrollable for all involved. It took them one day to pressure wash and one day to paint the deck. We had ours walls and vaulted ceilings painted in a couple of large areas and the final cost was very affordable, especially in comparison to a few other quotes we got.
