This is a fantastic ice cream shop and I would argue the best in BV. Great spot for the whole family and their flavors are amazing. Chocolatte is an absolute must visit for parents with young kiddos! My daughter loved playing there so much she talked about it for days. It's a perfect warm weather visit for ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes, smoothies, or affogatos. I really liked the Purple Mountain ice cream flavor. Cold weather? Ice cream is still good ;) but they also have espresso drinks (with Buena Vista Roastery beans) and desserts. The entire space is very Instagram-able and can even be rented out for kids parties. My main gripe - they really need a deep clean of the seating and playground areas. Some of the benches show signs of wear but it may just be that they need a good cleaning. The kids play area really shows it since a lot of it is white. Some of the balls in the ball pit are smashed, and there were crumbs of food inside (food isn't allowed in the play area, tsk tsk). They have playground rules posted but they're actually hard to see - they should be placed in a more prominent location so parents can read before their kids play. Also it's very quiet inside if it's not full of people - some background music wouldn't hurt :) read more

Chocolatte is one of my favorite spots in BV! I've had other ice cream in town that I didn't find as exciting because I admit I love a fancy treat. It's so cute inside, designed for both adults and children. Their selection is unique, and I ultimately decided on Purple Mountain (taro) which was dreamy. The cones looked tasty too, so I'll have to get one of those next time! There's beverages and other desserts, which I'd love to explore again when I'm driving to or through this area. read more

This is such a cute ice cream shop. The hours on Yelp said open til 9p but we walked in at 7:05p and it was closed, but the the staff was super friendly and still served us. They have unique ice cream flavors and it's a really fun atmosphere. I wish I could give a lower rating than this. I visited the shop March 20th with my family and another. We got in line outside the door at 7:45pm. We had 3 12 year olds with us and at 8:05 the woman with blue amd blonde hair working the front counter told us she wasn't going to serve us. I expected more. She could have easily let us in as the last group since no one waa behind us and asked us to flip the sign which still read open. I would recommend never visiting. read more

We stopped in to get a dessert post dinner. It was at the end of the day so there were limited options. We both got a hazelnut mousse in a dark chocolate cup. It was so good. It hit the spot. Around $9 each but it would have been the same or more at a restaurant. We didn't have any coffee or other treats. I would definitely go back. I also liked that they were open until 9 (on weekends). I have enjoyed coming here with my kid, but there is one woman who works there who never says hello, let alone acknowledges that someone is there and will make me wait every single time before she steps up to the register to take my order. And she'll stand there, not say a word, and wait for an order. First time was the Christmas parade. I waited 5-10 minutes and she didn't even come to the register.
