The food and service were great. When we arrived, there was a line out the door. The line moved quickly. We enjoyed the dog friendly patio. The mocha, biscuits and gravy, and Meaty Bowl were all excellent. Definitely worth stopping in if in the area. There is a large dirt parking lot on the east side of the building along with a lot of street parking. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. This would have been a 5 star it was just way over priced for what you get. Turkey bacon melt on sour dough was really good and light, same with the Ruben. The Paloma's were strong and really good. Lots of different cocktails options and weekend drink specials. We stopped in for breakfast when visiting this morning. It was very busy as this is clearly a popular place. One person was taking orders for a line of people that went out the door but it seemed like an efficient system. We ordered a small iced coffee, a vegan muffin, a vegan breakfast burrito and a full order of biscuits and gravy and it came to over 50 with tip. My iced coffee was good but I couldn't really taste the orange cardamom flavoring. It didn't take too long for our food to come out and the staff was really attentive to make sure everything was ok. I really loved the vegan burrito even though there was no salsa on the side. The vegan meat and tofu scramble it in were really good I would definitely recommend it. My husband said the biscuits and egg were good with his order but he wasn't a big fan of the gravy which he said had a slightly sweet taste. The vegan gluten free strawberry chocolate muffin was good but not great. We would definitely come back to this place next time we are in town. read more

We were visiting BV for a wedding and walked to Cool River several mornings for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches were tasty. I liked the options for different cheeses and thoroughly enjoyed The Eggman with bacon and brie on a croissant. Sandwiches came out quickly and service was friendly. Stopped in Buena Vista for lunch on a roadtrip. The downtown strip had restaurants and coffee shops with other shopping available. Cool River has a small outdoor patio and seating inside. You place your order, then the staff brings out your order. I ordered the Power Salad, which was delicious!! Spinach, arugula, blueberries, quinoa, chickpeas, avocado, cukes. So tasty! The cashier was incredibly rude. The prices are outrageous. The food was disgusting and we threw it away. The egg in my sandwich was not an egg it was like jello, and extremely greasy. When we walked in we got instantly judged and stared at. The only thing that was okay was the smoothie, but absolutely not worth the price. read more

Customer service was great! The woman taking our order was helpful and friendly. For the quality of food this place is way over priced. I live in Denver and places very similar are no where near this expensive. We had two bagels and two drinks and it was over $60.00. Not worth it in my opinion. read more

Service was 10/10. Coffee was 10/10. We ordered the breakfast bowls (meat and veggie) and we were disappointed. It tasted like the eggs were not real and the whole meal had been microwaved. Wow! What a great place to eat! Came here with friends for lunch. Fast friendly service and the food, well the food was delicious! I had the cranberry pecan chicken wrap which was full of flavor. My friend had the egg scramble that she loved - I had a bite of hers and will be ordering it next time I'm in! The guys both had burritos that they raved about!
