I took my husband here as a surprise for his birthday and he did not figure it out until we parked…read moreright across the street. He was so excited and loved it! For years I had heard nothing but good things about this place and so we were eventually going to go and what a great day it was for it. It started off cloudy but the sun came out and all of them were sunbathing and napping. It was such a great experience to be around so many cat lovers of all ages and witnessing everyone's interactions where they would play, run around, or snuggle with others. We ordered some teas and they came out piping hot! We will definitely come back. My only qualm was while registering or purchasing a reservation was it populated an option to send tickets to my Apple wallet but then it went away and there was no email sent that had the same link to send to my wallet. I only received a receipt and the waiver email. I was a little bit worried that we wouldn't get in if I didn't have tickets to scan. I sent an email and message through contact us but never heard back. Luckily it went fine though the day of but would've liked a little more seamless experience on the UX side.

I love that they are giving all these cats a home & they are all available for adoption! They also serve the best chocolate chip cookies that I've ever had in my life!!! I need more of these cookies! You can make a reservation in advance or just walk in for availability.

I'd been wanting to check one of these out so we immediately went inside. The first room is where you can place and order for a drink from the cafe and check in for your visit. We didn't have reservations but they were able to accommodate us without a wait. Entry was $5 per person which I felt like was a good value. There are two floors of nooks, seating and of course cats! The best interactions seemed to be the natural ones. We sat down at a table with a game of scrabble and had a couple of visitors come by. Overall happy we did it and really enjoyed our visit! This could be a place to come back to many times. Free street parking

Passed this cute cat cafe on an antiquing day and stopped in for some lemonade and some pets. All…read moreof the cats (the awake ones) were quite friendly and 100% of the cats were sweet! The facility is cute! A downstairs and an awesome upstairs with windows, a large table, chairs, and the cars who just want to get away from it all (downstairs is smaller and busier). I had a lemonade and only stayed 10-15 minutes. I'm glad this place isn't full of cushions like the other local cat cafe I have visited. I think that must help with the hair and likely the aroma too. It does smell like an animal shelter in the combination of animal + recently cleaned scents. This did not bother me. My experience was not what the first reviewer's were, nor would I mind much if it had. (No shade to Karen; she should share her opinion of the place.) Gentle reader, if the cats happen to not be "friendly" or "social," consider that they were recently rescued from the euthanasia lists at local shelters. Maybe they're not used to being in a building with so many people coming, going, and letting them all day... Or being in a room with multiple cats. Or maybe it's just what they are like. Not all cats are extroverted. They can still make great pets. They're purrfect to me! Will be back with friends!

I had the gluten free lemon lavender donut & a vanilla latte - both were great! My husband had a scone he enjoyed & lemonade that was very freshly squeezed. Service was prompt and friendly - you order up at the counter. Lots of GF options, no upcharge for oat milk, gender neutral bathroooms, cozy seating both indoor and outdoor on the patio, self serve water station.

Pro tip: definitely check their hours before you go--and honestly, just plan your day around it because it's that good. I was expecting your typical little coffee-and-sandwich spot, but it completely exceeded my expectations. They have a couple of parking spaces behind the building, and if those are full, there's a free lot about 500 feet down the road. It was pretty busy at lunchtime. You order at the counter, and they bring everything to your table. There's a mix of indoor and outdoor seating in various sizes, and the decor is adorable. I especially loved the maps--they make great conversation starters. I noticed several tables pointing out places they'd visited and swapping travel stories. The menu has a nice variety. I ordered the chicken salad on ciabatta with a side salad. The chicken salad had a strong dill flavor that I really enjoyed, and the ciabatta was perfectly fresh--not too tough. Next time, I'll probably pick a different side since the salad was basically just lettuce. If there was any dressing, it was super light, so I ended up adding some of the lettuce into my sandwich. The surprise standout, though, was the lavender lemonade--a total sleeper hit. It was scorching hot that day, and I wanted something refreshing, so I ordered it on a whim. Honestly, it was the best lemonade I've ever had. I don't usually find myself making a special trip to a café just for lemonade, but here I am. I'm not sure if it's seasonal, but I really hope it sticks around.

And of course coffee, which was really delicious, the one I got. It was a cinnamon roll cold brew with foam and.... I don't know what else, but it was pretty amazing (iced). Lots of coffee/tea options, they have gluten-free goodies and I noticed they had some quiche and soups, so while I didn't get any food, I would not be opposed, for sure! The place was clean and bright, and the local art everywhere was really cool. The bathroom was tidy, service was great, definitely will be back when I'm in the area.

I'd just done a training run that began and ended at the shoe store across the street. At the conclusion, I was given a Paloma-flavored non-alcoholic beer, courtesy of one of my running group's sponsors, but what was I supposed to do with that? It was decided that we needed coffee. (How ironic, by the way. Receiving a free beer from your sponsor.) We seem to have gotten there just in time. There was already a healthy crowd of people who apparently weren't runners, based on their physique (lol jk), and several people from our running group arrived after we did. People apparently like this place. The vibe is quirky and independent, with a lot of random decor, including a Blues Brothers poster and a sign declaring that the Teletubbies are welcome, and a lot of local-interest signage and artwork. People in the City love to remind themselves that they're in St. Louis. You never see anything like that in my native West County. Truth be told, I wouldn't even go into a coffee shop unless someone else suggested it. It costs less at QT. But I figured when in Rome. I wasn't about to get a sandwich, in part because I wasn't hungry, and in part because I'm always wary of food from places that specialize in coffee, but I figured I'd try one of their fancy coffee drinks instead of just a regular coffee. I went with something called a Zippity Do Da, or something to that effect. It was a latte, served hot or cold (I of course went with hot), with... if I'm not mistaken, peanut butter, honey and mocha. I liked the idea that there was a peanut butter element, in part because I couldn't imagine what that would be like. Peanut butter, even the welfare version you get at Aldi, is at least somewhat viscous. Was this going to be more like a milkshake? That could be gross, and grossly caloric, canceling out any benefit of my training run. Of course I was going to drink it anyway. Turns out that the peanut butter was the element that was least prominent in the overall taste of this drink, though you could in fact taste it. I found it impressive that, if you concentrated hard enough, you could detect elements of peanut butter, honey and mocha. It's like when you purchase a fancy bottle of wine, from, perhaps, the aforementioned Aldi, and you really can taste bits of oak, vanilla, campfire and a slight nuttiness. No Diddy. These people are true coffee artists, the cafe equivalent of people who work at Subway. I'm at the nearby shoe store every once in a while, so maybe I'll return. I might even cop a bagel.
