Visited Chocolate Bash on a Friday night. It's great that they are open late because it's a good place to get a sweet treat after having dinner from one of the nearby restaurants. I built my own crepe dessert with chocolate, white chocolate and cheesecake bites for toppings. The cheesecake was extremely cold in contrast to the rest of the dish. I would have preferred they be a little chilled instead of really cold. It's a rich dessert but really a good treat. I know that some people have exemptions but if you're serious about protecting yourself from Covid it should be noted that the guy that made my crepe was not wearing a mask. Cream puffs, which were a little weirdly melty since hot chocolate had been poured over them, and their pancake bites, which are lovely, fluffy little nibbles that serve more as a vehicle for chocolate than anything. No objections there. My partner has gotten their lava cake a couple of times and really enjoyed that as well. Love this place, prices are a tad high. I've ordered Uber Eats twice from here and the strawberry cups that get delivered are hard as rock. It's supposed to be chocolate drizzle but it comes hard because I've seen they throw everything in the fridge when orders wait for delivery. Please stop doing this. If I can say two simple words about this place or two words regarding a recommendation, I'd say simply, Stay Away! My family and I have been coming here for the past years here and there for dessert. Then I walked in for it a second later and another kid asked if I was a Postmates driver instead of asking or being more aware I was already in there and waiting. I thought that was annoying and rude. They seem to young children running their operations which doesn't seem like a very smart thing to do. Especially when the kids customer service and awarness isn't satisfactory. And I say it all the time, I'm a customer service first type of guy and if the customer service isn't working, I definitely won't be returning. My order was terrible on top of that. The two milk shakes we're very watered-down tasting. Not thick or ice cream tasting at all. The waffle was okay but we weren't fans of the chocolate and the fact that all our toppings were not already mixed in together. There are businesses that have shut down due to this pandemic we are all going through, yet this place is still around when their are better businesses closed? I don't get it. I came here to try the viral Dubai chocolate bar. Was very excited! I came in and immediately the lady at the front rudely says "we are only taking online orders". Nothing else, no other directives. No welcome or anything. So I go ahead and go online. Ordering on their website was a whole ordeal. Took about 10 minutes to make an account and order. I ordered the sushi crepe and the viral chocolate bar. I was under the impression that the sushi crepe came with fruit but when I got it there wasn't any on it and was immediately disappointed. I asked the lady if I could add fruit and she said I would have to order it on the website. No clarification on what exactly I should order. I asked if there is a side of fruit or something I could put in and she says she doesn't know what's on the website again in her rude tone. There was no option for adding fruit on the website. I took one bite of it and ended up throwing it away as it was just a small amount of crepe with an obscene amount of chocolate. Then the chocolate bar was smaller than the size of my hand for TEN dollars. The bar had barely any of the pistachio filling, which is completely the point of the bar itself. Again, took a couple bites and threw it away. A TOTAL waste of money and terrible customer service.
