I was picking up a lot of gifts and definitely took up a bit of her time, but she packed everything nicely and even wrote everyone's name on the boxes so I didn't have to try to remember which box went with which person. I'm giving this place five stars because I can't think of any way that this chocolate shop could be improved. They serve desserts, chocolates, ice cream, and drinks. And she runs it with great pride talking of how she has served the Queen of England! Oh My Goodness!!! The liquer candies were legit like little shots covered in chocolate. They were horrible and amazing at the same time. The cognac was my favorite of these little guys, but the rum and kolsch were also good. My coworkers and I were eating these and getting biz-uzzed at work. They have a milk chocolate that all of my friends loved. For me, it wasn't quite sweet enough. But for my non-chocolate obsessed friends, they couldn't stop eating it! I was also gifted a beautifully wrapped box of chocolates and each was very good, some better than others. Thankfully I had a little guide so I knew what each was based on it's design and no surprises were had eating them. Chocolate shops should always have this to help their clients! My friend who went to Ejes Choklad cannot stop talking about this chocolate shop and the lovely lady running it. This made sense though since this place is TINY. They just seemed so stressed out and I felt bad for them. I ordered a sandwich, coffee, and apple tosca pastry. The sandwich was super fresh, but I felt the bread was a bit too hard for a sandwich. That being said, the bread was very tasty. The pastry was probably the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. This might sound like I'm exaggerating (I am), but it was honestly incredible. Soft, gooey, not too sweet, and just the right amount of crispness on top. Definitely recommended- just make sure you're not in a rush!
