Disclaimer: this review is only for the specialty coffees... which were super delicious!…read more DRINKS: --------- Two iced caramel lattes, one dulce de leche latte, and one dark chocolate latte. So creamy smooth and refreshing, these drinks made this the ideal stop after our lovely dinner at Bakfickan. What a divine welcome to Europe, where espresso is good everywhere! AMBIANCE: ------------ Cozy ambiance and warm decor to enjoy your tasty beverages. People are just hanging out here, chatting and/or playing Pokemon Go. Yes, there is a Poke-stop here (this is where I actually caught my very first Pokemon). I had resisted playing and said I would download the game ONLY if it was released while we were in Europe. With my luck, it came out the day we arrived. STAFF: ------- Compared to some of the other businesses in the Stockholm area, the barista was extremely pleasant. Luckily in Sweden they are practically fluent in English (and at least 2-3 more languages in addition to Swedish), so we had no problem with our order. NOTE: Something about the milk/cream was so different than to that which we are accustomed, to the point that two of us had our stomachs rumbling all night. But not in a bad way -- luckily, we didn't experience an upset stomach or anything. I think our tummies just weren't used to that amazing Swedish milk. I wonder what it was that made the difference. DATE TIP: A great stop for that post-date coffee. Get all cozy with that special someone and spoil them with a specialty creamy smooth espresso drink. (Maybe you'll get bonus points for each Pokemon sighting!)

A small, ice cream bar, specialising in exotic flavours…read more We had cones with two different ice creams, and thereby tried saffron with honey, Tonka bean, raspberry and lime, and a mango sorbet with jalapeño peppers. The ice creams were all very nice indeed, although the mango sorbet with jalapeño peppers is possibly an acquired taste... The portions were also very generous, so we would recommend having only a single scoop of ice cream - you have the option of having two flavours in one scoop. Two scoops comes to just under £5, which sounds a lot, but it is a lot of ice cream (and would be far too much for a child). As well as the traditional cones, you can have small cartons. They also do ice cream to take away. A nice touch is that you can have a small taste before you decide which ice cream you want to buy.

StikkiNikki boasts all natural and organic ice cream and you can really taste the difference. The flavours are very interesting and true to it's name. I had the beetroot lemon sorbet and sea salt olive oil to share. Pretty much a salad in ice cream form. It may not sound the most delicious but boy was it good! If you're a beet lover, you will definitely like the beetroot. There were also actual pieces of beets in it resulting in an interesting sorbet texture. The first impression of the sea salt olive oil ice cream was a creamy vanilla with a hint of salt but as you savour it, you can taste the delicate olive flavour within Thankfully, they are super generous with their scoops yummy ice cream (see photo). Just can't get enough. StikkiNikki is so good! Must try when in Stockholm. Highly recommended.
