She started going to see Dr. Javier Alonso and is very satisfied with his services so she recommended that I, a woman in her 50s, and my son, a teenage boy, go to see Dr. Alonso as well since we inherited my mom's very sensitive skin. Although he didn't spend a long time with us during our joint appointment, Dr. Javier Alonso was very observant and he inspected the various patches of skin issues we had and asked us relevant questions. Thereafter, he prescribed each of us various cleansers, creams and ointments as well as pills for my son. Some of the skin care products were available for purchase at his office. Other products were ordered from a Palm Beach-based pharmacy that offers free delivery. We also learned that his office has estheticians, Claudie and Colette who offer medical facials and laser hair removal etc. On previous occasions, when we went to see other dermatologists, we were underwhelmed. After filing out rather lengthy and extremely detailed forms on iPads that asked numerous questions about our skin and medical issues, those other dermatologists merely gave us basic advice like to use hot compresses on abscesses or to buy CeraVe and other over the counter creams and pills we had already been using prior to to going to see them. We were impressed at how thorough our office visit with Dr. Alonso was and at his long customized typed up lists of recommendations and instructions on how to treat our various skin conditions. Dr. Alonso told us to review to see him in 2 months. If needed, I will update this review after we have had sufficient time to follow the lists of recommendations and instructions and do the various treatments for our various skin issues. His staff, including Paulette and Emily were friendly and helpful.

The check in process was quick and easy. I was seen by the Medical Technician, Jorge Leyva who promptly took my vitals and during my visit administered a couple Nebulizer treatments. He was very polished medical technician with great medical knowledge. He answered many questions and had good patient skills, listening, empathy and real concern for my well being. Lastly, I saw Dr. Joseph Ballarini who diagnosed my condition as Bronchitis and prescribed the nebulizer treatment as well as 2 prescriptions. Dr. Ballarini has over 20 years experience and is the owner operator of the Miami Beach Urgent Care. His approach to patient care is second to none. In my 69 years on Planet Earth have I ever experienced such outstanding patient care.
