11/8 UPDATE: it's reported that the balloons still look brand new three weeks later! 10/25 With the COVID world the way it is, I wasn't sure I'd make it to Chicago to celebrate my sister's big birthday. So I started searching for things we could have delivered to her house. I was not expecting to find such unique and fun ballon options! I contacted ChiTwist for a quote and Clayton quickly responded. We nailed down what I was looking for in record time. I'm sure it took an hour or less from quote to payment. I found ChiTwist on Yelp.com and called them frantically looking for a front porch balloon arrangement the next day for my daughter's 13th birthday. Clayton is the owner and he responded quickly, sent me sample photos, and even matched the purple color theme I requested. The service is expensive but worth every penny because the detail is fabulous and I am sure it's very time consuming to create these arrangements. You get what you pay for and I was so happy with the arrangement. Clayton communicated via text during the installation showing me photos to make sure I liked the result, which I definitely liked! We were so happy to find Chitwist Balloon for our daughter's 2nd birthday party last month. At first I was worried we started our search too late with the party just a few weeks away, but thankfully Clayton had an opening for our desired date. He responded timely and answered all of our questions prior to booking. We were impressed with the website which gave a great idea of the quality and creativity of his work. On the day of the party, Clayton arrived early to set up. He was professional, organized, and courteous. All he required was a small table and he provided the rest. It was nice that he already had a menu of balloon animals or things that he can make so it was easy for the kids to find something they wanted while they waited in line. He also took requests. All the children loved his balloon creations: the older boys enjoyed playing with their balloon swords, bows, and arrows while the girls all got Hello Kitty balloon bow headbands along with lots of cute animals and cupcakes. He made our friend a really big football crown with the Chicago Bears blue and orange colored balloons! He made our birthday girl a pink scepter and a purple octopus. Even the adults enjoyed the balloons. Afterwards Clayton left as quietly as he arrived, I didn't even realize he was gone! Had no idea how difficult it was to book a balloon artist even three months out from the event. There were very few artists with openings at the time we needed someone. Thought I got lucky when Clayton was available, but didn't know just how lucky we were until the day of the event. He was one of the biggest hits of our carnival party with nearly every kid (about 60!) lining up to get a fantastic balloon creation. Clayton was on time, super patient, and engaging with the kids.
