While the online process for ordering an artist was cumbersome, the overall end result was remarkable. Laura provided face painting for our party of 5-6 year old tykes. I was a guest at a 1 yr old birthday party. Not sure what the gentleman's name was, but he was great. He got there with a rolling speaker and played child appropriate songs while making balloon animals for kids. He was making jokes and being patient with all the kids. After he made multiple balloon animals for each child, he performed a magic show. It was entertaining for the kids and adults. My favorite part was that he allowed all the kids to participate in the magic. He made sure everyone who wanted to help with tricks, had a chance to go up. We just had Laura at my daughter's 3rd birthday party last weekend and she was AMAZING. She is so good, especially with the younger kids, and an extremely talented face painter. She does some of the best face painting I've ever seen, not to mention she stayed at least a half hour later than I had booked her to finish the rest of the kids at no charge (so of course we gave her a big tip). I'm surprised Burke Magic doesn't have 100 5 star reviews! He was so awesome. We saw him at a friends party and knew we had to have him for our son's birthday party. We had about 15 kids (2-7 years old) and he kept them thoroughly entertained for the full 90 minutes of magic and balloon animals. We just hired Burke Magic for our kid's birthday party and were very happy with both Michael and Laura. We hired them to do a magic show along with balloons and face painting. The magic show was great; the kids were super engaged and having fun participating. The balloon creations were fabulous, such a great repertoire of animals, hats, swords and other. Also before leaving they left us a few spare balloons in case the kids popped them we would have some spare ones to switch them out. And the face painting was some of the best I have ever seen; all the kids looked amazing.
