The pricing is very fair, most of options to choose from, salsas are 10/10 as well I've always got to try the salsas. BOMB!. I had gotten the Pastor burrito, comes with rice and beans. We decided to give it a shot and created an online order and everything we got was fresh and delicious: Ceviche - Fresh and tasty Chips and Guac - Ditto Carne Asada Quesadilla - ended up saving this for the week and it was tasted great re-heated in the airfryer - lots of carne asada too! Pollo Asado and Al Pastor Tacos Chispas Salad with Chicken Chicken Tenders/Kids Burrito Pick up was super easy and on-time, they had it ready to go right when I got there. There were a few people inside - very clean and the service was friendly. I thought the value for what we got was spot on, great quality, and lot of amazing options to fit anyone's taste. what a great find! discovered this place via the TooGoodToGo app and so glad i did. went through the drive thru to pick up my order which included ceviche & warm chips. the service was fast and the worker was friendly and helpful. didn't stop by inside to check out the ambiance but from outside it looks really cute. as for the ceviche, WOW! so refreshing, the amount of lime was perfect & i enjoyed the smaller bits of shrimp as opposed to whole big pieces. all the ingredients were cut very well and made for the perfect bite. the chips were warm and crispy and paired very well together. will definitely be back to try more of their food, love the convenience of the drive thru! read more

Gotta love a place that doesn't care what anyone thinks and keeps that Christmas tree up in May. The person who took our order didn't seem overly friendly, but I don't judge at a fast casual place when food can speak for itself. The prices on the print menu and the wall were different, but rising food costs and inflation makes sense so yeah. Got a veggie burrito and it was loaded with veggies. Was told the whole beans were vegan and the refried beans had cheese in them, so they were vegetarian, not vegan. They said the rice was vegetarian. My kids got kid menus and the food portions were good for maybe up to a 10yo. Came with a side. Chips were added cost but the salsa was delish, so well worth it. Outside seating was perfect and it was a beautiful night. They have enough seating for about 12 people outside with lights but didn't see misters. Inside seating probably enough for like 20. Probably the best Mexican food but so inconsistent. Sometimes the avocado salsa is life altering, other time's shrimp is leather and comes with no dressing. Avocado salsa was incandescent then too salty. Posole is great but again small and inconsistent condiments Last time the salsa was pure salt and fries were warm. Tonight I picked up a cesar salad. Checked for dressing. No dressing. I asked and was told me they would check to see if they had it. The only reason you can charge $10 for romaine is if it has dressing. Seems like a new place and I tried one of the Big Papa potatoes for $8.50. You could get meat on there, but I opted for the grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms situation. Beyond that, you choose three other toppings which for me was avocado salsa, sour cream and green Chile's. This was a massive, well cooked potato and everything was hot or cold and fresh and tasted delicious good job. It was so good. Such a plain and simple looking place just on the side of the road. The food quality was exceptionally good, fresh, and not as salty and greasy as a lot of Mexican joints. The burritos are well packed. The veggie burro was very satisfying, with veggies that still had good texture and not overcooked/steamed like many. Their salsas and sides are also great. I recently visited the drive-thru and ordered a chicken burrito with bell peppers, spinach, and mushrooms as my toppings. However, upon receiving my receipt, I was surprised to see a $5 extra charge, which I questioned. The staff member, Cailey, explained that my chosen toppings counted as a protein, resulting in the additional cost, with no thought to what she said (extra toppings can be $0.60 or even $1.25). This was perplexing as I've never been charged extra for these 3 included toppings before. We LOVE these breakfast burritos. We have tried the steak, chorizo, and bacon burritos and all are equally as yummy. We bring our family and friends from out of town and they are also equally impressed. The burrito for the size is quite large (think Chipotle size). Add grilled onions and green chilis to yours and you will not be disappointed! Full disclosure: The food is good, not great. I added a star because the service is so wonderful, and you get so much food for the very reasonable prices. The value is polar opposite to the nearby Dilla Libre. I can't recommend the carne asada, but the chicken and carnitas are both really good. My two tacos here contain at least twice as much food as the three tacos I tried at Dilla Libre and for a lesser price. If you eat cool and atmosphere, go to Dilla Libre. Visited Chispa's as we are staying down the block. The staff is very friendly and helpful, food was fresh, hot and delicious. I had the veggie breakfast burrito minus mushrooms and a fruit cup. My husband had a regular burrito with al pastor and whole beans. The bill was $30 for 2 burritos (big enough to take half home like I did), 2 drinks and a fruit cup. I'd seen the great reviews here and had been wanting to stop. So glad I finally got the chance. I had the pollo asado burrito and it really hit the spot. The chicken had a nice smoky grilled flavor. I loved the whole pinto beans, and the rice had a subtle tasty garlic flavor. Loved the tortilla as well. You get to choose your entree and then customize it to your liking with your choice of meat, fillings and toppings. I think everyone in my family could easily find something they'd enjoy. My only gripe is that the *large drink isn't really that big, and they pack it full of ice. I would suggest asking for light ice if you're going through the drive-thru or getting a to-go order. Other than that, I look forward to bringing my family back to Chispa's and trying more menu items. read more

This is a GREAT place when you're craving fast-casual, but healthy, Mexican food or you want to support a local restaurant over a big chain. In bonuses, this location has a drive-through as well as patio dining, making it a convenient spot for WFH or a lunch break if you live in the neighborhood. The food was excellent--filling, but not overfilling and made with real ingredients. On my first trip, I had the salad, which easily made three meals. The romaine was incredibly fresh and the ingredients were laid out beautifully. The next time, I tried the veggie burrito. The size and proportions of the burrito ingredients were just right. I like that you get to choose the included ingredients from a list, and add to those if you want. The only two downsides were that it does take a little longer than it would at a chain drive-through to get your food at lunch, but that's to be expected from a small business, especially in pandemic times, and especially since these are custom-crafted menu items, not fast food. The other aspect was the price point, which was entirely reasonable for the quality of the food, but places it in the fast-casual vs. fast-food category. read more

The young cashier has a really bad attitude. Very unpleasant. I cringe every time I walk in and see her working the register because I know my order is going to be wrong. I ordered the breakfast burrito, it was tasteless and the egg was dry. In the past they had thinner type of tortillas. Today's tortillas were the thick rubbery type. This place was great first couple times I visited. They seem to get my order wrong past few times. I think it depends on the staff working? Food was good but I feel like I can eat somewhere else with the same good food but better customer service. The girl who rung us up was mute the whole time with no smile on her face.
