But for me, it was where I realized I wanted to pursue higher education. Just have gotten out of ESL classes the year prior, NW Classen gave me a much needed confidence boost at the expense of other underachievers. I made quick progress with each passing years and in the end was top 3 of my graduating class, but could have been higher if it wasn't for the language barrier. Not being popular was what really helped me, but it didn't matter to me much. I didn't care if I fit in with others, a loner I guess. I would often had lunch by myself in the math classroom at noon. Thank you for the wonderful educators at NW Classen for instilling knowledge and giving me a good head start before college. When it was college time, I was more than ready academically. For those who feel not fitting in or being laughed at, just persevere because the winners are the people that get the last laugh.

We started at Goddard for Pre-K, and after attending multiple other franchise schools (Primrose, LaPetite) as well as one of the most elite private college prep schools here in OKC, I can tell you I wish we would have started at Goddard YEARS ago! They have met and exceeded every expectation we've had for our son. He grew academically and socially so much in his Pre-K year here, and entered Kindergarten at a private school nearby, way ahead of his peers. Anytime I ever had an issue, concern, or need, the teachers or upper management team rallied around us and made our son their #1 priority. They accommodated for him and went above and beyond to help him succeed and grow. They leaned who he was as a person and student, and figured out what he needed exactly. When I pick up my son, he's always in clean clothes and never has a wet diaper. The communication is fantastic; they always let me know when my son is running low on supplies and how to prepare him for a productive day at school. We wanted to use cloth diapers, which a lot of those centers refused to do. With a lot of centers it seemed to be about us conforming to their program. At Apple Tree, it was more about what we needed. Cloth diapers? No problem. Breastmilk, no problem. Leaving for the Summer because mom doesn't work summers? We don't have to worry about losing our spot. We have loved the staff. The owner is very present in the business and knows everyone's name, knows the children's names, and is generally a great guy. This is a family business and has been around for a long time. Our child is excited to go to school every day. They are currently rated as two-stars, but they are pursuing the third. The three-year-old class does art every day, sings songs every day, and runs a newly installed curriculum. They take great care to keep the place clean. It does not have that daycare smell that I've experienced visiting other providers. And their prices are reasonable.

It's been two months and I'm still waiting on the reimbursement check from the center for the money I paid for time I didn't use.
