My past chiropractors used stim-pads and/or roller-massage tables instead of this very localized technique. I found "active release" very effective on my "hunch shoulders" syndrome inflicted by today's lifestyle: too much sitting at a desk or steering wheel. His traditional spinal manipulation method is firm and effective. Let's face it, a former NFL linebacker should be able to move my spine! He also helped me with my physical fitness program and tweaked my form to help prevent future injury.

To be fair I was told I could be adjusted but it would be another $50 or I needed to sign up for a package or a plan. Why or how would someone sign up for a package of adjustments when you have not had one from the therapist, and don't know if they will be good? I was told very clearly on the phone that the first appointment would be scans and the second would be a review, a proposal for a plan, and an adjustment. But I guess that adjustment only happens on the second visit if you sign up for a package.
