He wanted to make sure that our family was 'in good hands' when we arrived at our new home. He called a number of them and recommended that we give Dr. Bill a try. I am so glad he did. Dr. Bill has been treating us faithfully for the last 15 years. He is well-skilled in chiropractic care, and has relieved aches and pains too numerous to mention. He always takes the time to chat you up, and takes a personal interest in your total wellbeing. He has convenient office hours, and is always accommodating. He is friendly and knows treatment options like the proverbial 'BACK of his hand'. There was a time a number of years ago when I was suffering way after office hours were over, and he told me to come out to his home where he had an adjusting table. He was so gracious. I have only the highest praise for Dr. Bill and his front office helper.

Fast forward to a few months ago: I had a back pain that wouldn't go away, but thought it was just something pinched that maybe yoga could fix. Yoga didn't fix it. So I called Chris. I've been going every couple weeks since and I just can't explain to you how amazing he is. Not only does he make me feel 1000x better, but he's one of the kindest people I've met. He's quick, efficient, but explains what he's doing, is compassionate, answers questions, and is just so nice. I haven't met the other doctors in the office but my guess is they're just as wonderful as Dr. Smith! The facility is nice and clean, and the front desk staff are always very nice and helpful! Even if you don't think you "need" to see a chiropractor, I bet after one visit to Dr. Smith you'll feel amazing!

I also love the design of the waiting area--really nice and comfortable. The fact that he's open on Saturdays is a huge plus for me with my busy work schedule. Hands down, he's the best in North Liberty, and to top it off, he has a great sense of humor!

My local friend recommended this walk-in chiropractic office. It was OUTSTANDING! I told him either I need to move to north liberty or he had to move to Kansas City near me. He took *exceptional* care of me, much much better than my home chiro. He listened to my concerns, he worked on my point of pain as well as potentially related spots. He did trigger point therapy on a muscle spasm. He took the time needed to make sure I was better. And the fee was very reasonable. Plus, he was a delight to visit with. Seriously, I'd give anything to find someone as good down here. I highly recommend him. Highly recommend.

I have had significant improvement in my back pain and hip pain. I went in in such bad shape thinking that this was my last resort before surgery and now I'm actually back to my walking and an exercise routine which I thought would take longer than it has. I highly recommend them as chiropractors as well as Dr. Jess as an acupuncturist. I was skeptical at first but can tell you that after my first couple of treatments I had a significant reduction in pain as well as improvement in my daily functions. This is not your usual run-of-the-mill chiropractic office. If you want to be truly cared about and taken care of as you should be Black and Gold Chiropractic is the place to go.
