This location gives the smallest proportions I've ever had. They half spoon everything and act slightly annoyed when you ask for more.

It was my first visit to this restaurant. My first impression. Dark, dreary, dungeon like. I…read morebelieve lighting, vibe, decor, and music to be just as important as the food. I look for a certain charm of the place for it to be a memorable experience. There was no music. Staff play another important part. I found them to be not friendly. All walked around like they were there because they needed a job. The lady that took our order was very rude. My daughter, whom is a special needs child, asked me about a certain item on the menu. I asked the lady who was serving us to explain to my daughter what the item on the menu was. She did a quick hand gesture towards me, vaguely describing what it was and then walked away from our table. She did not acknowledge my daughter's question. This kind of angered me because I could not answer her question. My daughter decided to order something else. The food was ok. Nothing special about it. My wife did not like it. My family has experienced excellent Mexican restaurants, so it is easy for us to compare and give an honest review. The staffs behavior really stuck with me. No smiles, no checking up on our table to see if all was ok or if we needed anything. I asked for water and I was given a small cup with water no ice. Cup was dirty on the outside. Water seemed like it came straight from the faucet. It was warm. Would I recommend this place, absolutely not! Unless what I described does not bother you, then go ahead, enjoy.

I went into this place one day out of desperation-- it has an unimpressive exterior, but it was 90 degrees and my 4 year old was whining she was thirsty while we were running errands downtown. Now I am very glad I took a chance. This place is a gem! The menu is made to order authentic mexican fast food-- cheap tacos, burritos and more. This tiny place also doubles as a mini grocery and bakery. All the baked goods are made daily by one guy. I don't know what any of the items are called, and since no one there speaks English, I just point and smile and walk out with something amazing for pennies (with a handwritten menu on posterboard). I don't need to know what it's called to know it tastes good. For example, one day I got a bag full of lightly sweetened breakfast rolls-- 6 for $1!!! They have the most beautiful birthday cakes! My favorite baked goods is this giant mexican corn & walnut muffin. At only a dollar, it's a steal compared to the prepacked nasty muffins that are sold at the convience store for the same price. Coupled with a mexican pina colada yogurt treat, I've got a great breakfast for 2 bucks

I visited on 10-16-2018. Yes, it was a Tuesday. I had to have my "taco Tuesday" fix. I ordered 3…read moreof the Lengua tacos. They were amazingly good. I wish i could have had more, but I was satiated with the 3 tacos. They have a lot of other meats for tacos available, so I'll have to visit again and try other things. They also do a few other choice "Mexican" dishes. They had a "Salsa"/Hot Sauce bar which was hidden away with fresh sauces (refrigerated case). I tried a bit of each one and they were tasty. They ranged from mild, all the way to "melt your face off" hot. Mind you, it's really one or two people really running the joint and they make everything fresh and to order so you may end up waiting a while. It's a really small joint. Just a bakery that also happens to have a very small convenience store (with lots of snacks and drinks) and a taco joint in the back. Therefore, it's very easy to see why people would just walk on by this place and not stop in. If you're ever in Vineland, NJ and you want "real authentic" tacos, this is the place to go.

The building itself is a festive bright Orange color. I was greeted warmly by the owner as I walked on. The dining room had about a dozen tables but I got our order to go. It had an open kitchen with a small bar section so you could eat right where they cook. It was decorated in traditional Mexican decor. Now for the food, I ordered the enchiladas , one with Verde sauce and the other with Molé. The food smelled wonderful as I opened the bag and it looked just as delicious. The tortillas were fresh and homemade and the flavor was on point. The verde sauce had a great flavor and had just enough kick to make me know there was some spice. It was covered in lettuce and cheese and specked with diced tomato. The chicken was moist and tasty. The Molé sauce was deep and rich and had excellent flavor. It came with beens and rice. The beans were light colored and not black beens and the rice was standard Mexican rice. Overall it was really good. I will be going back again. They accepted debit cards but also had an ATM in the corner. The only drawback is that they didn't have any menus to give me so I will have to search that up on the inter webs. A small inconvenience for a wonderful meal.
