No matter what time I go to Chipotle here in Wilmington they NEVER have ANY peppers and onions ready. Lunch or dinner it cant be just my bad luck but at least 8 TIMES in the last 4 months I am craving Chipotle and CANT because what is a bowl without THE BEST and majority INGREDIENT?!!!!! AND THEY NEVER ask to compensate maybe extra something else, NEVER offer to cook some, I ask when they'll have peppers and onions ready they shrugged their shoulders TO A CUSTOMER, not giving an answer. Usually couldnt wait because places to go, AND SHOULDNT HAVE TO. HAVE THE FOOD READY!! RIDICULOUS. PLEASE FIX THIS. After about 20 times eating at this location, I had to download Yelp and leave a review. They often get online orders wrong. I stopped reporting it because I'm just over it. Today I walked in, zero urgency from the employees. No acknowledgement that i was standing there ready to order. Instead the gentleman spent an awkwardly long amount of time wiping up little bits of rice from the food line (3-4 minutes or enough for a whole song to go by). Then went and did something in the back, meanwhile more customers came in. Then he came back out, started cleaning up some more bits of rice and then FINALLY, spoke to me and said almost inaudibly, "sup" in a manner like I ruined his day by existing. Got my bowl made, paid $18 for "double steak" (barely more than one serving). I can get a whole ribeye steak for $18. Where is the value? Where is the customer service? Where is the change? Of all the places in Wilmington I've been, this is the only place I've been where I actively get irritated. I have a lot of patience and this place pushed me far enough that for the first time ever I downloaded Yelp and left a review. I like Chipotle because its perfect for my diet but I just cant do it anymore. What a GARBAGE heap of a restaurant. Do MUCH MUCH better. Ill be making my own at home now. Honestly, this was nearly enough to make me not come back to Ohio ever again. On a serious note, this was the worst Chipotle I've ever been to hands down. The customer service was slow and unenthusiastic. My boyfriend order a burrito and asked for queso and cheese to which the person at the counter said "nahhhhh" and proceeded to make the messiest, least thought out monstrosity of 75% corn. They "open" at 10:45, but they won't serve you until 11 because they aren't set up. If it opens at 10:45, i feel you should be able to get your food at 10:45. Cleanliness is low. They almost never have the tea/lemonade made either. Food/items aren't available because they aren't "the right temp" yet. The drawer is never ready when they open either so you have to wait on them to get it ready. Management needs to pay the employees to come in sooner so they are able to serve when they open, or change the opening time. read more

Shouldn't even be one star!! This place should be closed!! My order was never completed. Oredered on line and we showed up was told running behind but we would be next order prepared 3 orders were made and then told they were out of chicken. Then told 10 minites to make the chicken. The grill they were begiining to clean at 8:00 when they close at 11, was cold and didn't seem to be working. Finally an hour later we gave up and left. The chicken was finally starting to cook but our patience were gone!! Stuck in drive-thru for 45 minutes after scheduled pick up time. Can't leave drive-thru due to curb. Barely an apology after nearly handing me another person's food and the ridiculous wait. First off they didn't have any onions and peppers so I ordered and said I would wait for them. After sitting and waiting for 15 minutes one of the managers asked me if I got my fajitas yet and I said I had not. That wasn't even the problem. The other manager, Tyler, had an absolutely horrible attitude with my mom because she asked why they over charged her for my nephews taco kids meal! They charged almost $11 for a $5 meal. Also his really snarky comment when she asked for extra onions and peppers in her bowl. He said "I would never put this many in anyone's bowl" and she didn't even have any rice or beans. Just meat and fajitas. Seriously? Why so rude? Then the other manager wrote on 2 cards for us for a free bowl/burrito only for them to be declined next visit. Walking in noticed the restaurant was in total disarray. Empty food trays left all over the restaurant.with food on the tables and floor. Stood in line behind a customer continually spitting his chew in the vicinity of the trashcan, missing it more often then not. When it was my turn to be served had to wait several minutes for help. The food bins were mostly empty, with a few disgusting looking scrapes in the bottom of them, with again food all over the counter. Chicken on the grill was burning due to no oversight. On top of everything was told they were out of vegetables. That was the last straw. I left. in the defense of the workers, there were only 2 and they were totally overwhelmed. This was my 2nd similar experience at this particular chipotle and will definItaly be be my last. read more

this is genuinely the worst chipotle i've ever been to. i wasn't expecting much walking in because i usually get pretty crappy service however today takes the cake, i placed an online order today and when i walked in to pick it up there was no orders ready on the shelf so i got into the line where there were two male workers doing literally nothing, at all. and they had told me to go to the register so i go over there and wait while she was busy doing online orders by herself, i waited for about 20-30 minutes AFTER getting there at the designated pick up time, and then got served this... this food isn't cheap enough to be serving your customers basically an empty tortilla and a bowl missing half the toppings, not to mention the toppings they actually did add were literally barely any. i've never once had a pleasant experience here but i'll definitely never be coming back after this.... highly disappointed read more

WORST CHIPOTLE EVER. Even with the limited food options in Wilmington GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Ordering through the Chipotle app, drive thru pick up, or delivery is a nightmare. I ordered 4 bowls, 3 chips and queso, and a drink to be delivered to a local business for a business lunch. Literally NOTHING was correct about the order. White rice instead of brown rice, missing lettuce, steak instead of chicken and vice versa, queso in the bowl when there wasn't supposed to be, etc etc etc. All 3 chips and queso were missing and the drink as well. The lids had the correct names and order details but they obviously can't read or are too incompetent to understand simple words. Contacted support through the app (because you can't talk to a manager directly) and was ghosted twice by the agents (Roanie L and Vincent). Credited my online account for the order but has to be used within 30 days. No credit to the business credit cart and I have 4 people at a business who don't have lunch. There have been previous issues with orders so this was definitely my last forever. Never again. read more

First off I would like to say the Manager " his name is Chris one of the workers told me his name" smelled like marijuana and was obviously high by his demeanor and his eyes were bloodshot. The restaurant was dirty and they were out of items I had a burrito bowl and it made me sick for 2 days the manager was yelling at the workers in front of the customers and the other customers were just staring at each other a couple older ones walked out. The manager said they were out of certain items and he was eating the items in front of the customers. I know 2 people that went there and got sick from the food I should have listened. It's a shame that the management is honorific because it would be a great place to go I love Chipotle and have eaten in different cities but the Wilmington Ohio Chipotle I will never eat at again because the manager cannot manage especially when people are getting sick from the food not to to mention all the other things wrong. read more
