This Chipotle location is awful. I've been here a number of times and every time is awfully slow. The front line never seems to be staffed well and the workers couldn't care less about their customers. They aren't very friendly and pay no mind to how long they are making customers wait in line. I've never seen the place clean. The food is exactly what you'd expect from any Chipotle, but I only trust it when I watch them make my food for me. I want to like this Chipotle so much. It's so close to home and I like chipotle's products in general but this location has let me down too many times. Last night we ordered a late dinner, I made sure we weren't ordering too close to close. We googled, they said they closed at 11 so I didn't feel badly about ordering at 9 for a 9:30 order. We arrived, picked up through the drive thru, as we were pulling away we realized there was no dressing for the salad (the whole reason anyone orders a salad at Chipotle) so we asked for one. I realize these are all teenagers who don't care, so we always pre-tip $5 to encourage them to care... but this girl was so rude. She (young employee, white, glasses, resting face) tells us they have been out of dressing for 2 hours (its still an hour before close..so 3 hours before close, they can't make more or get more??) and I said pretty nicely "What a bummer, I wish the app could let us know when they are out of something because we wouldn't have ordered" and she replied "Just get a refund on the app" and shut the window. It was incredibly rude. Anyways, I'm also wondering why when she handed us the bag of food she didn't inform us they were out... I know the answer is because she's a non-confrontational teenager who just doesn't care, but it's frustrating. We can't even pay employees to care. Another example of their lack of care: They gave us SPOONS! No Forks, just spoons...for a salad and burrito bowl.... It's incredibly disappointing. I ended up not eating the salad because what's the point without dressing, my husband sadly didn't eat this either because when were upset we stupidly looked at the other google reviews and others posted pictures of bugs in their food as recent as August 2023 so he couldn't stomach his. I wanted to give this location four stars due to the fact that when I first visited it was very clean: utensils were stocked the dining room area was open and it was quite speedy. Upon visiting it for a second time this time late in the evening utensils were not stocked, the place was absolutely filthy, and the work area for the employees was utterly disgusting and I almost decided to just go to the subway instead but I was starving and I was already close to getting serviced. I don't know what the deal with this chipotle is but they seem to have two crews one: that cares and one that doesn't. I suggest coming to this location earlier in the day because in the evening it's an absolute mess. I'd also like to mention that my partner and I had brought to the employees attention that they had ran out of napkins. I went through my whole session eating my burrito without any napkins at all and had to rely on hand wipes that I had bought for myself. So while it's a decent chipotle when it's clean and has the right people in it there's a shift that isn't so decent. Again do not come here in the evening if you can help it. read more

My mother and I went to pick up our online food ordered. The screenshot included in this review showed that it was ready. By the time, we got there, it was not ready. We waited half hour to get our takeouts. We watched the staff just taking their sweet ol' time to get our food ready. IT SHOULD BE READY BY THE TIME WE GOT THERE! We had hold the line in the drive through. It was embarrassing to wait for the our food to be prepare. I felt the app is not telling the truth or the staff just being lazy to prepare our food ready. They need to learn how to hustle for their customer's patience and also, we were very hungry. Their service is not when it's supposed to be slow even the place isn't look slow! I wonder this place have poor review based on their service.... Their staff doesn't care the food is should be ready or not. That what we took it as! Now Chipotle is now having poor reputation. I really wanted to give a better review of this place. But after 5 visits I am seeing a trend. First, the positive. The food is great. I would give 5 stars on the basis of the chicken and steak bowls we have ordered. Next, there is an open dining room. This is an intecreasing rarity in early 2022. For these reasons we are coming back for now. Now on to the not so positive. There seems to be a fundamental lack of coordination and communication amongst the crew. As a result service, particularly speed of service, suffers. On each occasion we were there each customer spent about 4 to six minutes in line when other locations or competitors can service a customer in 60 to 90 seconds. It is not down to lack of employees either. I count 6 to 8 employees on each visit. I have experienced Moe's Southwest Grill in Mentor gives faster service with 2 employees on Sunday Afternoon. We've been going to this Chipotle since they opened and love it. SOOOOO much better than the one in Euclid (which is also on Lakeshore Blvd) where every order we got was messed up. Staff at the Willowick location has always been friendly, our orders correct (even those we got at the drive up and didn't check until we got home) and the restaurant and restrooms have always been clean. The food has always been great. Reading some of the other reviews I'm pretty sure some reviewers may have mixed up the 2 locations. Yes, this one is a couple miles further from home but the difference in quality and service makes all the difference in the world. read more

We ordered at 4:55. Our order was supposed to be ready at 5:10. I arrived at 5:12 & waited in the Chipotle-lane for 45 minutes. Our food was obviously cold by then. I'm relatively patient and I understand staffing difficulties, but what really angered me was that the employees were laughing & playing around when I finally got to the pick-up window. Unfortunately the app asks if you would like to leave a tip before your pick-up. I definitely regretting including one. It should be changed to tip after so there is accountability. I can't say enough on how disappointed I am with this location. There was a local store near my home that was closing its doors. As a lifelong patron, I decided to order the eight employees lunch. Big mistake choosing this location. I ordered online early in the morning. The site did not give an option for picking up the burrito box that day. I had to choose the next day. I called the corporate number and spoke to someone in that department about correcting the order for pick up that day. She assured me that she would contact the store when they opened. The order was to be picked up at 1:00 pm. I informed the store I was gifting that I would be at their store by 1:15. The employees' lunch hour was 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM. I arrived at 12:55. There were no orders on the pick-up shelf. I was not acknowledged by any employee until the line thinned out. I asked for the order at 1:05 PM. They did not have it. Apparently, corporate catering did not inform them! They made the order and it was completed at 1:30! I arrived at the closing store at 1:40 PM. On top of the eight employees losing their jobs that day. They did not have time to eat the lunch I was buying them. $100.00 mistake on my part. Never again. Someone hit the buzzard! This location has hit an all time low. They were the best in the area but it seems like the newer employees are running it straight into the ground. They were out of 4 main ingredients, so we asked for queso to compensate for the cheese. They said they can't because it's an upcharge & the ingredients are not a requirement to what we want for our choices. We asked to speak to a manager & two employees instantly got loud & tried to argue with us continuously until the manager came out. Defensive much? The "manager" Gwen, finally came out after the employees were still running their mouths to us and in front of other customers.. she wasn't even in uniform, she took her mask off to talk & was just as rude. The worst Chipotle I've ever been to. They are constantly out of many ingredients. They rarely have a pick up order ready at the time you select. Today they opened at 11, I ordered at 1045. It allows you to select a pick up time of 11am. I drive up at 1106, they say they aren't ready, they have tons of orders and the prep is not done- and it will be another 10 minutes. If I want a refund I have to come inside. I wait in the lot. Come back through the drive through 10 minutes later- another worker tells me they don't have guac and if I want it I have to wait another 15 minutes! It's 1120 at this point! She said they had a bad morning and a rough start so it just isn't ready. I said I guess no guac, it's already 20 minutes late and my kids need to eat. She hands me the bag and just walks away. No thanks for waiting. No apologies. And to add, in the 10+ minutes I waited in the lot, not a single other car came to pick up food.... Don't open at 11 and receive pick up orders at 11 if you aren't ready at that time. Don't even be open if you can't deliver the service people are PAYING for. And I was pretty okay with all the bad news, I waiting, I accepted no guac- and still rude to customers. Worse chipotle I've been to. This service is like this every single time I go here. read more

I really wanted to give a better review. The first couple of times I came the food was great, but they were always out of something (no hot salsa, no vinaigrette etc). The last couple of times I have gone it has gotten even worse. The rice has been almost raw. Not slightly undercooked, I mean CRUNCHY. They haven't had the peppers and onions in weeks, also no vinaigrette. So when I order my veggie burrito no beans guac, it was rice and tomato and corn salsa. Because they also didn't add sour cream. This is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. They are fairly new and this was my 3rd time going. First time was ok. Second time I went an hour and a half before closing and they were out of meat, salsa, guac and chips. Today was my third and final visit to this location, at 6pm tonight they were totally out of chicken, no fajita veggies, barely any beans and no chips. I think this place closes at 9 or 10pm so how do they not keep everything stocked when they have about 8-10 employees working? On Thursday, May 2nd, I went to this location and was very disappointed in the service I received. There were two young men serving the food to customers and they appeared to be new employees. The first server was very slow and he seem to not understand several customers orders. He finally asked the manager. The second server was dropping all the food on the counter in his space but not cleaning after each customer order nor during. These workers need more training and the manager on duty should be observing them and giving them pointers along the way. The manager needs more training herself. I did speak to the manager concerning this and hope she follows up on my concerns. Furthermore, other parts of the restaurant was not clean. Such as the beverage stand, tables, floors etc. There was no excuse for this. I observed a lot of staff on duty that could have cleaned those areas and the manager needs to take more initiative. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would! I had a very horrible experience at this location. I went to get dinner for my son, and realized that they were short staffed and it would be a wait. While in line a noticed the staff being rude to a customer before me. After waiting for 30mins I was treated the same way as the previous customer. Both manager Alex and Allie were completely unprofessional and would not give me the number to corporate to file a compliant. I asked again after waiting a moment and was ignored by Alex as he continued to wait on the next customer. Instead of giving me the number, Alex called the police on while waiting for the number. This location is disastrous, I have given this place three chances and not once was there an acceptable wait time for a fast food chain. If I were corporate, I would have a lot of time invested in fixing this location. I'm leaving the 1 star due to the fact that they are making the Chicken different now, it has a strong lime flavor and I am not a fan of it. How do you decide to change the flavor of a main ingredient in a bowl, a wrap or salad. I prefer the original grilled chicken. Since I always choose chicken for my bowl, I guess I won't be back. I went into chipotle on March 5th, 2022 and a lady who I presume is the manager was completely rude just because I didn't want my bowl cause THEYYY didn't have vinaigrette, and not to mention the food was nasty.
