Nice but filthy. So many staffers yet none with the moxie to wipe down a table. And EVERY unoccupied table looks like the aftermath of a drug cartel's company picnic. All the garbage cans are overflowing too. It's too bad that Purdue University doesn't have a restaurant and hospitality school this store's manager could attend. The slovenliness makes me worry about what's happening on the other side of the counter. And is it rocket science to respond 'Thank You' when you see me plunk a few hills on the tip jar? Best Chipotle in town!!! When you order extra they put extra! I easily get 3 meals out of 1 bowl which is perfect for a college student. They always fill my bowl up to the brim. I have never been disappointed here. Other chipotle's in town skimp on the ingredients and I end up with half a bowl. Never ever been an issue at the chipotle on state street. I want to thank the employees for their service. I've witnessed this location being extremely busy many times and they are still able to make orders with the highest quality. read more

The food is still good, but the service has become unpredictable and sliding downhill. Two visits ago, the cashier was amazing - excellent people skills and a logistical master. Most recent visit at 5:00pm, the customer line was hijacked by phone/app orders, grubhub orders, and catering. Bravo Chipotle, in diversifying your business model, but your new profits and extra orders are now coming at the expense of your walk-up and dine-in customers. The queue line was unnecessarily long for several reasons. Newer staff were slower on the production bench, yeah that happens and I can be patient. However, the phone/app/catering orders are getting squeezed in front of me and I'm standing right there. To make matters worse, there's no guacamole!!! The cashier and other staff are running around looking for Chipotle business cards to create "free guac" coupons as a consolation prize. All the while, the food production ambles along at a snail's pace, and the cashier bottleneck is frustrating all customers. What store runs out of a key ingredient? This is by far the worst Chipotle I've ever had the displeasure to eat from. Being in a college campus isn't a valid excuse at this point. If you order double rice or double protein, they use smaller scoops to give you the same portion and charge you double. Service takes way too long, and I've seen them take up to 15-20 minutes to pick up a meal they said will take 5 minutes. In addition they kicked people out 2 hours before closing. The tables are also not cleaned often and the ambience is bad. read more

We've ordered several time from them. Has always been on time and food has been good. Their steak burrito has always been great and very filling. We get the kids meal for 2 year old and she loves it. I tried the tacos and wasn't impressed with them the steak was tough snd full of grisle. Couldn't find the cheese and lettuce was bitter. read more

if I could give a negative number I would. They haven't been able to keep ingredients in stock for over 6 weeks, no lettuce, no fajita vegetables. They are in the parking lot of a grocery store, if they are out of lettuce they should be able to go purchase it. The employees are great but don't expect to be able to get what you want to eat!! read more

Standard Chipotle. They serve the same great food you would get anywhere else. The staff are always friendly and willing to help you. The only downside of this Chipotle is location. Being just a few blocks from Purdue's campus and having no other Chipotle's around to compete with, this location gets very busy. The worst time's to come are Sunday nights/afternoons, and lunch time between class breaks. Those are the times that you'll have to wait long lines for your precious burrito. The line staff can be slow at times, but are normally pretty good at keeping a decent pace to get you in and out. If you're feeling like a lunch break during the week or a burrito for Sunday dinner, I recommend ordering online to skip the line. read more

I'm a student and live nearby, I used to love chipotle, but this one has never put a single mobile order out on time or had a wait time less than like 35 minutes. there's never enough workers, and the ones Al there are quite obviously overwhelmed. i don't think the store should have to shut down to catch up on mobile orders. don't come here unless you have an hour to wait in line. read more

This place is fantastic but it's location is not - at least if you have a car that you need to park. The store can get very very busy during the day - so do a drive-by and see how long the line is before committing. There are a couple parking spaces behind the restaurant and three perfect parking spaces on the street along the restaurant. Rainy or snowy days I will only go in here if one of those lucky three spaces is open! It's too bad there isn't better parking, because I'd go here all the time! read more

Worst service of any of the many locations I've visited. ONE employee on the line at 8pm on a Friday while the line grew out the door?!? One other employee was too busy lining baskets to help when I asked them to bring more help to the line. I noticed three other employees who were also not lending a hand to the line. When help finally arrived...the two employees on the line were tripping over each other, instead of working a station and passing the food down. Most of the items had almost run out...and instead of asking someone to get them more, one of the TWO employees working the line would leave to cut meat or slice veggies. Complete fiasco. Management has let these employees down...they apparently have not been properly trained and were not working as a team. read more

I walked very hungry and started to order and they kept telling me that they could not make somthing that they used to have, but the kids menu has it and they do not serve guacamole anymore so I choose not to eat here. All chipotles are the same, right? Wrong! This one beats your average chipotle with a nice outdoor patio. Enjoy your burrito bowl outside in the Spring, Summer or Fall. The few times that I've been there, they've had great playlists on. Noon can bring in a lunch hour rush hour so keep that in mind before you make your chipotle run. The location and service are great and the prices are standard. read more

Food is usually luke warm, and it's been getting worse over the years. Last couple of steak burritos I got the meat was actually cold. Got their Sofrita Burrito a couple of times, pretty tasty, but again, underheated. On the plus side, I know I can bite into their food and be confident I'll never burn my mouth on something hot. I've been here about 20-30 times in the past couple years for lunch, and I used to like it, but food quality has been going downhill for a while now. Lately, I'll only go here when I'm sick of my usual spots in the area, just to spice things up. And I usually regret that decision. I'm at the point now where they're pretty much last on my list of places to eat in the area. Staff is good and generally pretty fast with orders. I want to start off by saying that this Chipotle has great food, and I'm rarely, if ever, disappointed by the food, however, all the other aspects of this Chipotle can use an improvement. I order online 90% of the time, but only at this Chipotle is my order always at least 30 minutes late. The staff does not have a high sense of urgency, which is surprising considering it's one of the busiest restaurants near Purdue. Also, they need to figure out a system to be able to separate online orders from the carry-out orders, because it's too much for the line workers to handle with just 2-3 people making 50+ orders, which attributes to online orders always being late. read more

Just your standard chipotle which in itself gets you 5 stars. For a college town with giant lines during lunch and dinner, this chipotle sure moves quickly! The only downside would be the extremely limited parking for those who live too far away to walk. You end up parking across the street in the Chauncey lot or a little ways down the road. I have eaten here several times and every time it has not been great. The staff always seems stressed, even when it's not busy. The brown rice was not fully cooked one time and was crunchy. The chips were stale, and they burnt my husband's quesadilla. They forgot to put my salsa in the bag which I asked for twice. I will say that the staff is friendly and not rude at least, so I give them kudos there. I've eaten at many Chipotle's though and this is one ranks very low on the list. read more

I have never, ever had a bad meal at Chipotle. They just don't exist. So I'm going to bypass the fresh, delicious, addictive food and focus more on the ambiance. This place is LOUD. Really, really loud. There's no point in trying to have a conversation with anybody here. Sitting outside is nice, but you're right on State Street, so that can get noisy and smelly sometimes. During the school year the place is always crowded, but the employees seem to remain calm. I'm stoked that they have tasty brown rice now--it's just as delicious as the white rice but healthier. Also, how do people NOT know that guac is $1.80 extra?? I'm continually surprised by how many people say they don't want it after hearing the extra charge. Chipotle is a pretty nice burrito chain, and I've had mostly good experiences. The menu is really basic- burrito, tacos, or salad, with chicken, beef, pork, or steak, with rice, beans, cheese, sour cream and your choice of salsas and guacamole. It all adds up to be delicious, no matter what you choose. I think the guacamole here is particularly good, but you have to pay $1.50 extra or so on most of the burritos. I've taken to getting the Veggie burrito, because you can get the guac along with some peppers and onions with the above things for about $6 or so. Very filling. Often makes up two meals, and I'm not exactly svelte. read more

Best to-go place near campus...! Have an exam and want to eat something fast, healthy and thrifty...? Well, there's nowhere better than Chipotle. Even though I myself prefer a burrito-bowl, the wrapped burritos are perfectly stuffed, so you won't lose any beans on your way back to the library! They don't mind throwing in some extra rice if you ask politely. The chips'n'salsa won't last long if you have friends for company, so beware! The service is super quick but in spite of that, the queue sometimes starts on the curb-side. read more
