Has anyone else had frozen items in their bowl?? The meat was so cold it was clumped together in large, tough to eat wods. The tomatoes were pale with frost on them. The bottom of the bowl itself was soggy and extremely cold, which is curious considering the meat should be warm...??? A lot of cold liquid at the bottom for a bowl with meat, lettuce, sour cream, a bit of pico, and some cheese sprinkled on. And we won't get into the infamously small portions Chipotle has already been called out for. Not sure who runs this location, but for the price I would expect either a refund, lower pricing to match the *lack of* food quality, or some corporate oversight here for QC. read more

Ordered a steak rice bowel. He went to put the steak on. I noticed the steak was almost black with the pieces being very small. I said I didn't want that steak. He went to the back to get the steak. I love Chipotle. I am sad this is the only one close to me. I couldn't even eat it. I ordered a side of guacamole. All together more than 30$. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. I like to give multiple chances before judging. You pay extra for double! Then why am I only getting single scope every time. With only 3 ingredients and double why is it less than half a bowl. Well, as I sit here and wait for approximately 30 minutes for an order, I am amazed at the amount of staff on duty and the little that is actually being accomplished. Now one could blame the fact that this location recently opened, sure everyone in the area, including myself, wants to go to the new place in town. Sitting here studying the operation, I see that a lack of process, lack of organization and lack of adult supervision are the most glaring observations. I see no less than 10 staff who are trying their best, it's not there fault... they have no leadership to guide and direct. I blame the lack of performance on Chipotle itself. Too quick to open a restaurant, it is clear the staff are I'll equipment to handle to rush of people or understand how to manage a rush. Staff standing around lost in the mix. As customer after customer who placed their order on-line lost their patience and opted to cancel their order were only given an number to call to request their money back. No doubt this will incur more waiting and little assistance in what should be a very simple process. Maybe it's because they are running low on cash in the drawer, as I overheard the young women running the register tell a customer that they ran out of change. I hope they are able to become efficient in their processes and provide timely service. If not, once the honeymoon ends, this restaurant will start handing out 2 for 1 BOGO coupons... the telltale sign of a failing establishment. Shame on you Chipotle. I've had chipotle since they first opened many years ago. Big chipotle guy. The portions have consistently gone down, and the price has gone up considerably. The training of the workers for portion size needs to be looked at. I asked for double of steak and barely got a regular portion. $2.25 for a dollop of guacamole? Are we rationing?? This Chipotle is a ZERO star, it is filthy and people are rude. I went in on a Tuesday a little before noon, lunch time! Nobody was in line, so I walked up and the 5 people behind the counter, never acknowledged me. Finally after a few minutes, a rude lady turned around and got my order. I got chicken on my burrito. BIG MISTAKE, it was disgusting and all fat. I asked for guacamole, and she said "we are out"! The last 4 times I've been here they haven't had fajita and today I asked if they were making any, and the kitchen manager said they weren't going to make any today because of staffing. I know staffing is a problem everywhere but the franchise owner needs to *pay better* to attract workers and fully staff this restaurant or it's going to fail as you see by the terrible reviews here. I love a Chipotle burrito and the Southern Pines location is closest to my home. Fresh food, generous portions, and best of all an amazing team led by amazing manager Tashina! Late one night, I ordered dinner prior to closing and sat outside and during my time there I dropped $500 in cash with just a sticky note with a colleague's number on it. Tashina went of the way to get the money back to me! Her team is amazing and shout to Allison for always making a killer burrito!!! Went there three times. The first time ordered online the food was 2 1/2 hours late. Waited an hour in line over an hour to be told my food was late. The second time there was no condiments. There was a note on the door that said they were out of everything. No salsa no sour cream no corn salsa nothing so us and five other people went next-door. Had a great burger. third time and last. this time wanted to get my order inside. the place was filthy, garbage overflowing trash on the floor, soda machine, disgustingly filthy, the work area where they were making the burritos and the bowls disgusting filthy, dirty. . This is not the same chipotle as the west coast. The drive thru is a disaster. They share with the burger place next door. Very poor design. All three times got our order wrong. Have ordered online/been multiple times and not once has it been correct. Always missing ordered items (which chipotle will refund if ordered online), and always really incorrect items (which chipotle only offers a credit for if ordered online). They will correct in person, but it has not been a quick fix. Additionally, the people who trim the meat are not doing as good of a job as those at other locations in my experience. 7:15 pm. Server offered taste of meat I'd not had before - a positive. Could not find a clean table to sit at. Counter by condiments and napkins was sloppy, and unwiped. Appeared to be enough staff, but no tables were cleaned while we ate. Trash on floor by register in path to kitchen lay there while numerous employees walked over the trash. Food was pretty good, but uncleanliness of dining area left us wondering about overall cleanliness. Won't be returning anytime soon until we hear reports of improvement. read more

Sadly, This chipotle is awful! Most frustrating since many of us in this area have looked forward to its opening for YEARS! 1. Wait time for online orders will be 15-45 min late. EVERY TIME. Plan accordingly 2. They are out of products regularly ie: chips, black beans, fajita veggies etc. (it's a nightmare trying to get reimbursed for the chips you paid for online but didn't get.) -Lettuce is almost always browning at the edges and not bite sized/if they even have lettuce 3. Flavor is NOT consistent like every other chipoltle in the country. From the lime and salt on the chips, the salsas...all of the meats, AND even the rice and beans. Ingredients are omitted and recipes clearly aren't followed. 4. Cleanliness -Restaurant is like a teenagers room. Dirty tables, trash everywhere. STILL hoping it isn't this bad? I get you. How could it be? 5. Beware of bowls for to go orders!!!!! ***3 TIMES NOW I've been handed a bag through the drive through window where the bottom is dripping and has soaked through enough to make the employee hold it from the bottom since it's just a soppy hole everything will fall through. I shit you not. Seriously?!?!? $10+ per meal, you can't make sure what you're handing me is in tact enough that is doesn't drip all over me and my car?!?!? I have yet to experience the employee rudeness others mention. They've been nice, but that doesn't make up for all the other stuff. We eat chipoltle everywhere we go when we travel. This was a terrible experience for a Friday night take out. We ordered 2 burritos online at 5:13 and got a message that they would be ready at 5:30. We arrived at 5:28 and waited at the drive-thru behind one other car where after 5 minutes they got their food, we moved up to the window and waited 7 additional minutes and no one was inside at the window. We then pulled up and went inside, although we counted 6 employees that we could see, not one even acknowledged our presence. We decided to go back to the drive-thru where we were now 4th in line with 4 more behind us. At 6:05 we finally got our order which by now was very cold. Definitely will never go back; wish I would have read the reviews online before ordering. If this place is still in business in a year it will be a miracle. read more
