My friend accidentally clicked on the wrong Chipotle and ordered from the one in Randolph. I knew that they would mess up the order even before I got there. Well, guess what? Half of the order was at the pickup table. Missing our drinks and chips. This was a big order too, for 6 people. So I went up with my friends to the counter and had to get the drinks. Well, apparently, they're out of chips too. No phone call, nothing. Just that they can replace the chips with extra drinks after being questioned why part of the order was missing. But we didn't want extra drinks and already paid for the chips and guacamole. I had to ask to at least get the guacamole part, because they kept saying only drinks. Every time my family and I have ordered from this location, they screw up at least 1 person's meal. Tonight, we decided to give them one last chance....our mistake. They screwed up 3 out of the 4 meals we ordered. Didn't realize until all the food was back home, had to go back to the store receipt in hand and get the correct food. Terrible customer service !! I placed the order online, and it said it would be ready at 8:15 I arrived at 8:17 and the order wasn't even started. When I asked for it the kid you made it acted like I was inconveniencing him. He finishes my order and puts it to the side not even telling the cashier t was ready as I waited. My first time at this particular Chipotle; I'm a regular in Boston and Cambridge. The service was slow, especially compared to what I'm used to from the Kendall Square location even though it wasn't a busy time. The music is too loud, the servers seemed disengaged and the restaurant is a little messy even though it's 80% empty--nearly all of the orders are takeout. Good: The staff is nice. It is close to my house. Bad: EVERY SINGLE TIME we order here, there is an outage of an item I ordered. Yesterday they were out of white rice. The time before that, no cheese. The time before that, no tortillas. Two times before that, no chips. They lost my online order once and made me wait out the full line of people, even though I had ordered an hour previous. I showed them the screenshot of the order on my phone, address of the restaurant and everything was correct, I had ordered from the right place. Basically, don't waste your time at this one until they hire a new person who manages their inventory. Just take the extra time to go to the Braintree store. EDIT: I went again today, 7/31/16 and there was ANOTHER outage. This time they were out of tomato salsa. On top of that, they lost our order again.We were supposed to pick up our online order at 7:30, but nobody had even started it. Oh, and they were our of medium lids so we had to be given a large cup so we could use the large lids. EDIT 2: I went today, 8/21/16 and they were out of sour cream. The Service was alright, no line so experience was easily enough. The food on the other hand was cold, dry, grainy rice and just absolutely not satisfactory. I can see why this place has been getting bad reviews because of the food, just seems that the place is suffering because of lack of traffic. Normally I go the Braintree restaurant but since I live around the corner from the Randolph store, I decided to give this restaurant a chance. WRONG! The cashier was rude and with too much 'stank' attitude. The young lady making the burrito was stressed to the max (no help from the four or more people standing around), my chicken burrito was almost meatless with tasteless beans and soggy rice not to mention the guacamole that turned brown before I got home. My first experience was walking in the door. An employee was on the way out and held the door for me and my daughter, and said enjoy the food in a very nice and welcoming tone. The cashier was sweet and nice and asked how my day was going. They get 5 stars for their employee's customer service manner, and they get 2 stars for the food. The rice is undercooked and half crunchy, they were completely out of black beans, almost out of pinto beans, almost out of every meat, the fajita veggies were limp and sad, they were out of hot salsa, they were out of guacamole (REALLY!?). Usually I get great service from here but I seen no familiar faces. I use to work for chipotle and the service wasn't what I would give. I ordered a burrito and it came out horrible!!!! even them trying to fix it I Feel wasn't professional and I feel they didn't care. Portions were off and it just came out sloppy! She even asked me did I want it wrapped over I said yes and she just let everything fall out the burrito and seemed like she had an attitude. The two people at the end of the line at the register were just laughing and joking around with Eachother... the girl even said "I see you looking at her struggle" .. and to me if you see that, than why not help her? She wrapped it and the whole burrito wasn't even covered and as the guy was about to put it in the bag I had to ask for more foil, and even that was a challenge. Let me just start by saying I have been to a lot of local Chipotle's. Randolph is by far the best and most fresh around. They have not disappointed me yet. The restaurant is clean and the employees are friendly. I always order a burrito bowl and they are always stuffed to the brim. I sometimes feel like the chipotle's are hit or miss, this one by far is a hit! I highly recommend going to Randolph store if you are in the area!! read more
