amazing time at this chipotle. i came there at 10:58pm (they close at 11:00pm) and the doors were locked . I was so sad and hungry i started to cry. Then a chipolte employee noticed me...she pointed...smiled...and held up my order number. I then stopped crying and started smiling. Then another employee came to me and asked me my name. Alexander V. i responded. He then went back in and the first employee made me a fresh bowl. And the second employee handed it back to me. I was so thrilled i started crying. And then I left happy and full (although i hadn't eaten yet). To recap, came at closing, made me a fresh bowl, and hand delivered it to me. Fantastic Chiplote, fantastic people. All love read more

Obviously annoyed by months of playing defense over smaller portion sizes, Chipotle CEO Scott Boatwright actually told a group of investment analysts that if consumers want bigger portions all they have to do is ask and any team member will gladly provide them free of charge. I'm not really a fan of Chipotle but this bit of C-Suite prevarication might be worth taking out for a test drive at an actual location. Scott, what's Plan B after I'm laughed out of the store? Run an ad for a week or two outlining the policy and I might believe it. read more

Princeton rt 1 location. DO NOt go during lunch break from work. Half the time, you are standing there waiting for food to be prepared, while the staff stands there as well. I can't tell if they are short staffed or not competent. You will see people walk in, start to wait on line, then realize how far behind they are. read more

This store gets busy it's a busy store in a great location for business. But I have noticed some employees by their facial expressions, seeming to enjoy and feel invigorated when there is a line and multiple people like doordashers ask them to package and receive orders that they see ready. I don't like the system they have and the tight corner hiding where the order selves aren't convenient either the burrito itself though makes up for it a bit. I also like how clean the facilities are so they made it read more

Do not order online from this store. I have ordered online twice and each time the burrito bowl was barely half full. If you order on the app make sure to check your order before you leave. It depends so you talk to in the store but the customer service is frustrating. read more

This place sucks when ordering online. I order a bowl for pick up because I'm in a rush and I get my bag feeling unusually light. I open bowl to find half portions of everything inside. 6 bites later it's done and the chips are stale and bland. Don't not recommend this spot whenever craving any chipotle read more

Extremely poor service and management Is non existent. What I received was inedible. This has to be the absolute WORST Chipotle location. I sent 3 complaints and the manager didn't even have the decency to address my issues. read more

Chipotle next to Trader Joe's Princeton, NJ I haven't come here for a long time, but there wasn't any line on Friday 2pm to take out two bowls to go, the spicy chicken bowl and steak bowl both tasted good. They gave generous portion of toppings when I asked for extra salsa and lettuce. The meats were on cold side when I got home but for $24, it was very filling and tasty lunch! read more

The service sucked, it was only one worker making the food. The manager didn't know what was going on. She need a better team, the guy that was suppose to be on the grill wasn't so the manager was on the phone (touching it with her gloves) and flipping the chicken on the grill which is not sanitary. I won't be back to this location read more

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since they are usually pretty good with my orders, but there was something missing from my order. I thought i'd try a quesadilla from chipotle this time and ordered the sofritas quesadillas, but it didn't seem to have anything else except cheese in it and even then it was not very much in my opinion. Chips I felt were not as fresh as they could be, but I will say I enjoyed the flavorfulness of the limited time vinaigrette they had. :) Otherwise, bowls are my go to and the tortilla I order on the side is always yummy read more

They don't have half of the menu available. Definitely one of the worst chipotles I've been to

Made a mobile order that was suppose to be ready at 7:30, received the order at 8. Although the wait was long, what really appalled me was the state of the restaurant. The floor of the prep area was covered in trash. It wasn't just fallen food from the prep area, but it was actually trash from an over following trashcan that has been spread about the whole prep area. I have worked in a similar restaurant and I would feel extremely disgusted if I was working in these conditions. Did not feel comfortable eating here knowing the cleanliness standards are abysmal. read more

Tried to scam me out of my gift card saying I had nothing on my balance. Then when I went back inside to retrieve it, I got it back which wasn't thrown out and there was money left. Guy who made my burrito scooped chicken then immediately after me the cook comes and drops a new load right on top of the old chicken and dirty pan . I would think food safety would be more of a concern . You do not just keep putting new chicken on top of old chicken in a dirty pan unless you're trying to make someone sick . Makes me sick thinking about how many times they do this ea h day and how old the chicken is in the bottom of that pan . I asked to speak to the manager he said as the watched it and said he can't say anything to the guy that did it right now . And he didn't fix the issue . Do you guys not have enough clean pans to put that chicken in a new pan then dump the old chicken on top to be served first . Or is this a laziness issue . read more

Good service and gave plenty of food. Food tasted very fresh. The white rice was very fluffy and yummy. Lettuce was very crunchy also.

Waited over an hour for a delivery just for chipotle to cancel.. I was on my lunch break and now I just have to starve.. thank you for nothing chipotle. Wish I could give them zero stars, this is ridiculous, and the pepper chat bot is horrible to speak with. -- update at 1:20pm: You asked me to leave yet another review with pepper? This location is constantly out of ice and their fountain drinks are typically just carbonated water.

Upgraded!! This chipotle has struggled in the past. From being closed without notice, to poor customer service--I must say I had a great experience the last two times we ate at this location. Portions were generous! Everyone seemed to be working as a team and were welcoming. They had every option available, nothing was sold out. In the past you had to order online, even if the store front was open but they've since gone back to ordering face-to-face. Pro-tip: if you're taking your bowl home order your rice, beans, meat & cheese in the bowl and all your toppings on the side. This way when you get home you can re-heat the "hot" stuff and add the cold toppings after. Sometimes you'll get a worker who gets upset at the extra work and other times they'll be more than happy to do it for you. read more

On November 21st around 12:55pm I was waiting on line to order when I overheard a women yelling "I'm your supervisor and she's just a crew member". I looked over and it was management yelling at a crew member. There were a few people around as well waiting for their orders. As someone who has worked in the retail industry, I found this to be extremely unprofessional. Management should never be yelling at an employee in front of customers. This needs to be addressed. There are ways to speak to an employee about a situation and this was uncalled for. This location needs to train their management better before it begins to affect their crew members. read more

This place is totally Prison Chic. From the metal tables and hard surfaces to the garbage all over the place. If a dirty restaurant is your idea of a good time this is the place for you. Not enough protein in your burrito bowl? Let the friendly flying bugs land in your food to increase you protein gains. Who needs clean floors? With all the chips on the floor no ninja will ever come get you by surprise! Ya this Chipotle is just shit. Thankfully they keep some Chipoltaway near by for everyone to use. read more

One of the employees is very rude and doesn't listen to the customers. I kindly asked her a question about a coupon I had, she didn't bother to look at the coupon I tried to show her and she made a face at me. Other than her, I had no problems with the service of the employee who made my bowl because he was great. Unfortunately she ruined the whole experience with her attitude. read more

If I can possibly give a negative rating, I would. I put in an UberEats order. I get that it is close to your closing time (by 30 minutes). If you run out of food, please cancel the order. What you sent is absolutely unacceptable. For the Burrito Bowl, all I got was a few pieces of meat. For the burrito, it is just a tortilla with meat in the middle. No rice, no beans, nothing else. This is not even a custom order. Chipotle, what the hell are you doing? This is an order of $60! Is that why your bag says "For Real"? Dude... read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Supposed to be burrito bowls and burritos.... - Mexican Near Me - Princeton, New Jersey

Our family love the food and do takeout almost once a week. But we have been frustrated by the fact that this place cannot seem to get their takeout order for four people correct! There was once that all our orders are messed up (e.g. ordered quesadilla carnitas but got quesadilla with cheese, etc.), but more frequently (and by that I mean almost every time!), one or two items from the kid's meal or sides have been missed completely, kid's milk, chips, additional tortillas, you name it...It is so frustrating that after 20 minutes drive home you discovered your order is not correct and someone in our family will be hungry during dinner. It is very disappointing and almost ridiculous that a well-established restaurant chain like Chipotle cannot simply ensure their employees pack the correct takeout orders. If not for the food we would have stopped going to that place long time ago, but now we are seriously considering it. Enough is enough! read more

I went to chipotle during peak lunch hours and there were multiple workers doing nothing despite there being a long line. Once again, our compliments to Zak and his team for a job well done. It was a very pleasant experience. We will visit this restaurant again in the future. read more

My wife and I have ordered from this Chipotle numerous times, and it's always pretty good. Sometimes our orders are slightly delayed, but never too much, and I imagine it's because they get super busy. Guacamole is sometimes really tasty and other times not so much, but that's basically the norm for Chipotle. I will say that their burritos and burrito bowls are usually pretty packed full of food, which is definitely a good thing (I hate paying for a burrito, which is supposed to be my dinner, and then seeing some shrimpy, three-bite thing). We'll be back for sure. read more

actually egregious how skimpy the portions have gotten here especially if you are ordering for delivery. my campus organization spent over $17+ per bowl just to open them up more or less 30% empty. how can you justify skimping on the protein when we paying so much? The food itself is fine, but honestly, probably will order less from here in the future due to the continued lack of regard for correct and fair portioning for orders that aren't in person. The location itself isn't that bad though - decently clean, with nice and respectful staff. just pretty crazy what happens when you aren't there to keep the bowl fillers in check. read more

This place is gross. Isn't this Princeton? Home of the uppity rich kids? We needed to change the baby, and the Misses just wanted something to snack on, so we went in since we were already at Trader Joes next door. Immediately upon walking in, the place was FILTHY. Every single table was dirty. There was lettuce and rice and straw wrappers and plastic cutlery and what not all over the floor. The trash cans were overflowing. Ewww. I told the Misses to not even eat there, but she was famished, so she didn't listen. She appears to have avoided the food poisoning I would've bet that she was going to get, but I would consider that pure luck. I'm a fan of Chipotle, but I'm not messing with this one anymore. read more

FILTHY place, rude employees and unsanitary food conditions that will be reported to the health department. Do not eat at this location it is absolutely horrible and disgusting. If we want Chipotle we will drive to another location. We gave this location another try on Sunday and it was worse than ever and my family was subjected to very rude employees ad noticed they were handling food without gloves, sweating and wiping their faces and food was also cross contaminated. We will NEVER go back here again! read more

I ordered from this location today and had it delivered. I'm upset that I ordered something though the mobile app and my order was delivered incorrectly. I ordered a veggie bowl and did not select Fajita Veggies, yet that was in my bowl. If I wanted something in my order, I would have specified it in my order. I am very unhappy with the customer service. It's a shame that I order something from Chipotles App and the workers are unable to deliver any quality service by reassuring my order is correct. Came in to pick up a mobile order and sit down with a friend for a quick dinner. My order was ready earlier than the time that my mobile app said it would be. The restaurant was fairly crowded at the time we entered, and my friend did wait quite some time in line. We sat down at an empty table that could have used some cleaning. I ordered a Burrito Bowl with a tortilla on the side. Overall, I was very satisfied with my food. All of the ingredients had the fresh and uniquely special taste that Chipotle's food has. For mobile ordering, I would recommend this particular location. My order was accurate and solid quality. For ordering in the cafe, the nature of Chipotle is pretty crowded; so you can expect a bit of a wait. Overall, this location is decent, but not the best. read more

I came here this past weekend because I found myself to be a little hungry right before doing my grocery shopping at the Trader Joe's that is located in the same shopping strip. I thought that it was a perfect time to try the new cauliflower rice with lime and cilantro that was just recently introduced at Chipotle. It is nearing the end of January 2021, and while I know that the COVID-19 pandemic is still not over, I think that this particular store's way of handling things is atrocious. The major problem is that all ordering is online and pickup only. This poses a problem in that it sections out a whole group of people who do not prefer to use online ordering. Many people are not technologically-inclined, and I think that they should still be allowed to order and eat food. I saw this with my own eyes as I stood there trying to order online, whilst an older woman with children was very confused that she was ONLY able to order online. Another set of customers was also upset by this, all while I stood there waiting for my food to be made. I completely understand the frustration of these customers because it also made no sense to me. It's one thing to say no dining in, but why does everyone need to order online and stand around in the store? If the doors are open for pickup and customers can walk right up to the cash register, it's clear that they are going to think that they can also order and pay in person. This is also the only Chipotle that I know of that is doing things this way. You absolutely SHOULD be able to order and to pay in person. That problem aside, the extra $2.25 that I had to pay for the cauliflower rice was clearly money wasted. There was almost no cauliflower rice at all, anywhere. It's a good thing that I was watching my calories and macros with that particular meal on that day, because I would have had a bigger issue otherwise. I gave them one star above the lowest possible because the portion of meat was actually pretty decent. Needless to say, I won't be returning to this Chipotle again. I'll stick to one of the ones closer to me. read more
