This is definitely the "college towns" of Chipotle. It's usually busy and, frankly, dirty/gross. I primarily do mobile orders, as I did today. When I went to pick the order up, every table in the restaurant was dirty, as was the floor. Despite there being no one in line and the people behind the register standing leisurely. It's winter now, so I like to get my food and head home, but in the summer when the patio is open, I enjoy eating on the patio. Lunchtime can be quite chaotic (crowded) and the wait can be long, at times, for that reason. Tonight I put my order in from an adjacent parking lot and it was ready when I walked in, about six minutes later, ahead of schedule. Got a door dash order tonight and it's easy to say I'm never ordering here again. Asked for white rice and lettuce, not only was there 0 lettuce, but it was like looking for a needle in a very little stack of hay for my rice. First time eating at Chipotle was a good one! This place is new and trendy, lots of seating with options to eat outside during summer. Upon walking in, I was immediately drawn to the big menu board with clear and easy to read selections. I love their no-nonsense display, everything is explained well and unlike other chains that overwhelm you with choices and print, I did not have to squint and was able to decide pretty quickly. As much as the simple selection is a plus, it may bring some drawbacks such that you cannot choose the size of your burrito. For around 8$ you will get a pretty filling meal, but if you had a smaller appetite, you would have to opt for tacos. They seem to serve just whole grain tortillas, you get a choice of chicken, beef, pork or tofu, which is a pleasantly rare addition in the fast food world. Steaks are constantly prepared on the grill in the background so you have an idea of how fresh the food is. My chicken burrito was delicious, and my bf ordered the steak bits, cooked medium rare, they were well seasoned, juicy! Note- prices are a little steep, an extra 2$ for guacamole and 2-3$ for drinks can set you back 15$ for lunch. read more

Don't order from chipotle in Plattsburgh... this is what u get when u order a burrito with extra steak....there is like no steak, no veggies, straight beans and rice and it's the wrong type of rice and it was delivered half open in a sealed bag, it was cold and soggy, the beans were not even cooked right. I asked for brown rice and got over cooked white rice. I asked for no sour cream and they still put sour cream on it. There was no cheese at all. Wrapped improperly. I have ordered 2 times from here and both times were horrible. I threw it away, couldn't even eat it. They have poor staffing and even worse cooks and preps that don't take pride in their work. Every time I eat at this particular chipotle, there's an extremely rude staff member. I don't feel the reason to pay so much money to eat food and be disrespected so poorly. Excellent experience both on staff and food level everytime I visit. Don't be afraid to ask politely if you think you should get a little more meat, rice, topping or whatever altough portions always seem to be bigger during slower times such as between lunch and dinner rush or after 7PM. I had a couple of problems with this place. And by a couple I mean A NUMBER of issues with this place! I mean I had A LOT of trouble with this establishment. And by that I mean A WHOLE MESS OF COMPLICATIONS with this restaurant! First off... I didn't understand the whole line concept. So I sat at a table alone for an hour and a half waiting for someone to serve me or give me a menu and take my drink order at least! Never happened. I was eventually asked to leave because they were closing, which made sense because went in around 8:00 PM. For a majority of my time there, I was alone, sitting and starring at the cashier, waiting for someone! Anyone! to serve me! Went here last weekend. I know due to the virus this have been super hectic but the employee dropped our food on the floor. Nothing opened but are tins we crushed & the bottom of the bag had juice leaking out. The employee put the bag on the back counter to make it look like he was remaking it. After 10 minutes he finally comes over with the same bag & gave us the food that fell on the floor. No apologies or at least a little effort to change the bowls that the food was in. When we got home everything was a mess and no enjoyable at all. Sad experience at this chipotle especially at a time like this when sanitation should be number one. Just returned from the opening of Chipotle - you can see the staff has been through a lot of training, and are trying their best! There is still a little more practice the staff needs, but all in all the experience was good! Waited online for about 20-25 minutes to order, but that was only because of their opening. I stopped in to pick up an early dinner since I was in a hurry. It seemed like the best of the fast food chains near my lodgings. I had only been to a Chipotle once before several years ago. When I saw the selection on the menu board, I remembered why I hadn't returned. Nonetheless, hunger and convenience prevailed. I ordered a steak salad. The little cubes of meat were inedible- just chewy bits of gristle and fat. There's nothing more disappointing than getting bad take out when your far away from home on a business trip. I decided to order chipotle on the app for my family so we ordered 2 bowls and 2 burritos. We place the order at 8:30 for it to be ready at 9pm and they also gave us an option to pickup at 8:45 but we chose 9. I get there and I look at the mobile order shelf and there is nothing there just a reminder this is at around 9:07 where there are only 2 people in front of me. The man asks me what I want and I show him my order was supposed to be ready at 9pm and if it was ready yet the man mumbles something that I don't understand and I look over and see another guy making 2 bowls so I assumed it was my order so I ask if this is my mobile order and he decides to answer with an attitude and I give him my name and he says it is. The guy still hasn't even started making the burritos yet he's still on the bowls so he finish making them and starts the burritos right off the bat I see something is wrong where he doesn't double wrap the burrito but that's not a big deal so I don't say anything I see he is reading the order off the receipt they printed so I didn't pay attention too much I'd assume he wouldn't mess it up. So all the food is done they slide it over to the cashier lady who knew it was my order she closes the bag moved it over to a table for some reason puts the seal sticker on it then opens it breaking the seal walks away I pick it up and ask the guy who made my food if I am set and he answered again with an attitude if there is a problem and I said no I just wanted to make sure. I get back my family is eating and the man had messed up all 4 orders with wrong ingredients in each one I look at the receipt and I don't know how he messed up every single one the receipt he was looking at showed exactly what we ordered and he just completely messed it up and couldn't handle making 2 at a time. This service was awful. How do you mess up all 4 orders by looking at the exact orders literally in front of me. This worker needs to pay attention to what he is doing. read more

The food is either hit or miss here. I get it a lot because it is somewhat healthy compared to all the other fast food options around, but it is not always the greatest. Today I went and was shocked by how disgusting and rude the staff was. I could not believe how mean the one lady employee was because the person in line ahead of me didn't hear her when she listed the options of salsa. The staff treat you terribly except for usually whoever is at the register. And even they seem to be forcing a super fake smile and pretending to care. Disappointed in the management there.
