Rock Solid Chipotle over on this side of town. This chain has always been hit or miss but I do like their menu and so I'm constantly looking for one that doesn't disappoint, and that would be this one here in Madison. Takeout has been consistently on point and the portions are huge so no complaints to report at this time.   Side note to those customers who place their orders right at 12:30 lunchtime or 6:00 dinner time; DON'T!! and Don't complain if you do. I don't do fast food that much (whether or not chipotle is "fast food" is still up for debate) but I do like the consistency you get at chipotle. The store was well located with ample street parking. The garbage liners were in desperate need of a change while I was there which, considering at how busy it wasn't, was disappointing. I love Chipotle. Thus location is embarrassment to the brand. Last Saturday at 5:15 there were no veggies cooked, no carne asada prepared - the other bins were not looking fresh. 4/5 employees stood around doing nothing, They said it would take about 10 minutes to make new veggies. No one cared. When I finally got my order, I received a partially filled guac. The kicker was, as I left, the garbage was OVERFLOWING. My husband said the restroom was so dirty, it was unusable. We went for ice cream down the street & passed by about 40 minutes leter - the garbage was STILL overflowing, Management needs to do something. We will never go back to this location. I have no idea what just happened. I was starving so I ordered my classic hungry burrito (DOUBLE barbacoa, rice, fajita, sour cream, red sauce... the works...). I even paid for the extra tortilla because I know it's can be difficult for the preparer to fit all the goodness I ordered in one tortilla. Needless to say, I was pumped for a monster burrito. I even ordered a second for good measure.... To my great displeasure, these burritos might as well have been tacos. The double tortilla shell was so unnecessary it made me laugh and cry at the same time. I ordered the second so I could have leftovers to enjoy the next day... I ate them both in one sitting AND WAS STILL HUNGRY. Worst. Chipotle. Ever. Little advice, If someone is willing to pay $25 for a burrito... hook em up. I've had several bad experiences about wait times for online pick up orders so I've started ordering in-store. The last two times I did online pick up... what a mess. I ordered a group order for my office's weekly staff lunch and they messed up terribly. One of the veggie bowls had no veggies, the 4 people who ordered guac on their food got no guac, and they didn't include our 3 orders of chips & guac. It was so frustrating and I was only able to contact support via online and all they did was give me enough 'points' for 3 guacs and chips. But like... I didn't feel that was sufficient. I initially only got offered 1 order and responded that it was multiple guacs missing which is not cheap! There was another time that I placed like 13 orders for my job and they didn't label any of them! I ordered again after that but it was only for myself and 2 coworkers. This time I opened our orders before leaving and 2 of the 3 were missing the guac. So I approached the unfriendly staff and they gave me sides of guac to make up for what was missing in the food. Anywho, I can't say I'll stop coming here because it's convenient. The next close chipotle is 15 minutes away and I may only use that one for larger orders. If it's for myself, I know to walk in and order in-person to avoid frustration. They have a parking lot which adds to the convenience. read more

I frequently get food from here and the quality continues to get worse and worse to the point that I go to East Hanover now. Always out of items that you order, but you don't find out until you pick up. They can't give you refunds if you order online. This is THEEE worst location ever! If I could it them 0 star then I certainly would! You ask for items "on the side" and they ignore your request! I ordered chicken and received pork which is against my religion to consume. I excluded pico de gallo from my order because I'm extremely allergic to tomatoes and it was STILL in my food! I've been eating at Chipotle for 20 years, it's one of my favorites. But no more. The experience my family and I had today was so utterly disgusting I'm finished with the entire franchise. My family ended up throwing our food away, we literally could not eat the filth they attempted to pass off as sustenance. We ordered a carne asada salad bowl and a carnitas bowl. The corn salsa was still frozen, the meat was cold and looked dangerously undercooked and slimy. The lettuce was literally rotting and smelled like decomposition. It was a nonstarter, we simply could not force ourselves to put such foulness in our bodies. No thank you, straight into the garbage and off to Chick-fil-a for a meal we could actually trust to consume. I'm nauseous just remembering the experience. Shame on you Chipotle. How do you take orders on line if you do t have food to fulfill them? And then focus on the orders coming into the restaurant rather than the online ones that are waiting. Told it'll take another 20 minutes to make brown rice, then told it'll be another 20 minutes to make carnitas. And offers of substitutions get you nowhere any faster. DO NOT GO HERE - EVER! The location should be closed! And by ordering on the website you have no recourse at all. I would've canceled an hour ago - but you can't. The entire meal should've been complimentary if not cancelled. This will also be sent to the corporate office - I'm sure to no result at all. Awful. Not sure why I've given this location multiple chances over the past several months but they just cannot get it together. Granted I placed a mobile order today knowing it was during a lunch rush but the staff didn't seem to know or care about the ridiculous amount of people waiting for online orders. My order was not ready until 20 minutes after my scheduled pickup time, meanwhile they have at least 7 employees working and only 2 working on online orders. The in person line was in and out quickly and had died down but they didn't think to have them help making mobile orders for all the people standing in their store waiting? The food was also trash, no flavor, seasoning was off, giant chunks of lettuce and veggies not prepped correctly, so that was just the icing on the cake. read more

Five people working behind the counter, but no one was doing anything except for one person. Large order came in on takeout and two people worked on that while everyone else stood around.
