I stopped by Chipotle for lunch and decided to dine in. I ordered a burrito bowl with barbacoa and guacamole. While the service was quick, it felt rushed, which led to my order being made incorrectly the first time. However, once my bowl was remade correctly, I enjoyed it. This location does use a LOT of cilantro in their rice though, which is something to be mindful of it you are not the biggest cilantro fan. I appreciate that they offer Tractor Ice Tea with free refills. However, the dining experience wasn't quite up to my expectations. Many of the utensils were sticky, which made me uncomfortable. A bit more attention to cleanliness would make a big difference. read more

They were all talking to me asking me what I want etc, and then I asked for double chicken. This is what I was given. I asked them what's up with the lack of portions and they all suddenly started to forget how to speak English. I've been coming to this location for 2/3 years and never had any issues until recently in the last two weeks with this new management and new personnel they have been very cheap with the servings of the meat & rice portions. I guess the new Chipotle female manager at this location has made it a point to train their employees to serve less than usual and charge extra for a little bit of more meat. "No bueno!" One extra spoon charging customers and extra 4 dollars for a little bit of extra meat in the bowl that i use to ask in the past and never was charged extra. I came back for another 2-burrito order. Both were stuffed so I decided to weigh them each. They were double wrapped as well. They were about 1.5 pounds each. The first one contained chicken, brown rice, black beans, cheese, fresh tomato salsa, sour cream, and red-chili salsa. It was very good compared to my previous visits here. My only complaint was the distribution of the filling. The other burrito contained barbacoa, brown rice, pinto beans, cheese, fajita vegetables, tomato salsa, and sour cream. Again, poor distribution of the fillings, but solid combination of ingredients. The barbacoa was more flavorful than I thought. read more

Sorry to say, that I live in town and it would be convenient for me to go to this Chipotle. The orders I've had the last couple years are a coin toss. The last order I had was done in person. I ordered a burrito bowl with half chicken, half Al pastor. Not sure why I did, but I had them add queso. Got home, looking forward to my meal which was over $13 only to find that the chicken was a salt lick WOW and I like salty. The Al pastor was undercooked and very fatty. Honestly one of the most disappointing Chipotles I've ever been to. Placing an online order and picking it up, you'd think you did something that's never been done before. Disrespect from employees and forgetting parts of the order. Where do you think I could hide a bag of chipotle chips? Every time I order from the Hillsborough location, the portion sizes are ridiculous. I pay extra for extra meat and get about half of the regular portion size. Also, they never put enough rice or corn salsa either. What's up with that? Apparently, it's under new management and the workers must be told to give less than they're supposed to. Never really cared for this location since the ingredients were never good quality, but now I really won't go here. I will just go to the Bridgewater location like I used to ! Over the past few months, this Chipotle has stepped their game up. My food is consistently ready on time, and fresh. Portions are bountiful, staff is friendly, and the location itself is clean as could be. I've noticed the same general manager working recently and while this location wasn't always amazing, I think the new GM has everything to do with the positive changes. He recognizes his regulars, and has even provided me with free chips on occasion ! For the longest time, I would drive to Bridgewater for an exemplary chipotle experience, now there is no need! Idk who got into the spices the other day but I almost passed away. We recently moved from somerville to Hillsborough so our usual location is Bridgewater. I'm not sure how this store is normally, but since it has low rating I'm sure it has many issues. The food was so extremely over spiced I couldn't eat it. I love hot food. I happily partake in Indian and Thai cuisine without issue, this stuff was chipotle on crack, they took the whole spice bottle and said fuck it, and flung the whole bottle in with disregard for my life. I was excited when Chipotle opened up in Hillsborough so I didn't have to drive all the way to Bridgewater but unfortunately, its very hit or miss, never consistent. First the cons; -The sliced peppers are HUGE. If I get a burrito or a bowl, I want peppers that are cut, not the size of my leg. I'm exaggerating...slightly. -A few times I went, they didn't have any onions in the fajita veggies, just enormous peppers. This is unacceptable as there is a farmers market directly across the street! -Sometimes (happened to me 2-3 times) the rice is very hard and chalky, as if not cooked long enough. Those burritos were inedible so I felt as though I had just wasted my money. Now the pros; -Staff is always nice and friendly -Place is clean and usually stocked pretty well (napkins, straws etc) -Ample parking I'd be more than happy to give them great reviews if they improved in the few areas where they are lacking! read more

They are horrible at online orders. The only time you can expect what you actually want is when you go in person, otherwise forget about it. I ordered a bowl with cheese and it was like they thought about the cheese while putting it on top it was just a sprinkle, but when I go in person they give a nice handful. Also, I ordered extra corn salsa, so someone please explain how a solid 10 kernels of corn is extra corn salsa? This chipotle has definitely gone down in their customer service. For the last couple of months I have had multiple issues with the quantity of food provided. As prices continue to increase the quantity decreases. Today the employee who prepared my order kindly did his job but apparently charged me for a regular bag of chips when I had asked for a large. The female store manager comes over, shows him the receipt, takes my large chips, and switches them to a small size without having the courtesy to say anything to me. Only because I asked if there was a problem did she explain he had made a mistake. I mentioned to her that regardless, you don't just change someone's order in their face without explaining. I was happy to pay for the difference in price but wanted large chips. With a very nasty look she told me it was fine. This was the last straw. The manager Hyden has no idea what customer service is and doesnt act like he wants to be there. I spoke with customer care and was told I could bring my gift card with $2.51 on it to cash out to any location because the app wouldn't take it with a low balance. Hyden refused to do this even though I had emails from the man at customer service. I told him I was going to call and complain to which he replied "go ahead". To top it off, once I grabbed my food and headed to the car, I realized they had big time messed up our order and I just wanted a refund at this point, which he refused to give me or any instructions on how to get one. Thankfully the customer service was so kind, gave me a refund, a free meal and promised to speak to him regarding the attitude. The commons mall location is 1000x better.
