Would not recommend this location. Went in, got a burrito, and left disappointed on almost every front. Portions were the biggest issue -- my burrito was literally the same size as my hand. The rice was mushy and heavy on cilantro, beans were hard, and the chicken was bland. The only things that saved it were the sour cream, red sauce, and cheese, which are pretty hard to mess up. 4/10 on the food alone. Customer service was passable at best. The first employee was kind, but after that it felt like an assembly line with zero warmth -- no "how are you," no offer for chips or a drink, and my burrito got tossed across the counter without a word. When I tried to say something, I got ignored and my order got pushed aside. I also watched employees mishandling how burrito bowls were being made right in front of customers. If that's what's happening in plain sight, I don't want to think about what's going on in the back. If you're in the area, just drive to the E Shaw location with the Chipotle lane -- night and day difference. Skip this one. read more

Continuing my boycott of this ridiculous overrated place that people can't stop visiting. Someone at the goodness of their heart decided to give me a burrito bowl for Halloween. It had the carne asada and steak, then white rice option, corn, black beans, cheese and guacamole. My first, 2nd, 3rd, bite was met with gristle from the steak I'm thinking. Who cut up this meat?!!! You don't just throw everything you can into a bowl and think that it's edible!!! I am so glad that this confirms my desire to loathe this chain as they are given too much credit for their own good. I could do this at home. I'll season my own carne asada, steak, corn, make my own guacamole or even a store bought one would be fine too. It really bothers me that I enjoy eating at Chipotle. However, when I go there, I'm not happy with the fact that they give you heaping amounts of lettuce, rice, beans, and other ingredients, but only half a spoonful of meat. I was told that if I wanted a full serving of meat, I needed to pay for double meat. I ended up paying for double meat because I wanted to actually taste the meat along with the other ingredients in my bowl. It's ridiculous that they provide an abundance of everything else, yet only a half spoon of meat. Not to mention the lady whom appeared to be the manager was speaking Spanish to the workers. 8/31/ Labor Day greatness!!! B1G1!!! Thank you Chipotle! Ordered on the app 2 steak & chicken bowls, veggies, black beans, beans, rice, etc. Paid for it and it gave back what find it would be ready and I went to pick it up right on time and it was right on the ledge waiting to be picked up. Also asked for a kids chip and it was handed over. Lunchtime!! My bowl was fresh & tasty!! Great!! 1/2 was plenty!! Great guacamole split to make it even better!! Great spice also!! Leftovers too! My husband and I got take out today at 12:30 pm. I ordered a carnitas burrito bowl (I wanted barbacoa beef) he ordered a chicken burrito (he wanted steak). The employees were pushy and rude, I wondered if we were being punked. The restaurant was out of: 1. White rice (except for the scrapings the young woman scooped into my husband's burrito which were all dry and crusted because it was practically empty, and a new one within arms reach right behind her) 2. Barbacoa beef 3. AND steak The poor cook in the back was by himself and looked stressed. He needed back up. I was asked by THREE different employees within a two minute time frame if my order was "for here or to go". You should pay attention when a customer says here or to go and tell your coworker what they said, not ask the same ridiculous question three times. You don't give the bottom of the pan rice to the customer standing right in front of you - you simply say "we will have more rice in just a couple minutes, if you don't mind waiting" (but it was right behind the employee and she knew it was there) You don't say rudely to the customer - "these are the proteins we have right now, which one do you want?" Again, say something like "we will have more options in just a few minutes if you don't mind waiting". You don't run out of two of the proteins and one rice option and only have one cook. One of the four people on the line - or the manager?!? should have been helping in the kitchen. In total it was a two minute interaction with an establishment that literally could have cared less about what they were serving, saying or doing. I blame the poor experience on training - these employees were not trained properly, or simply lacked common sense. Big thumbs down - and the food had zero flavor. I don't even know how that is possible at a Mexican restaurant. Serious retraining, basic training or upper management should help this place out. I've been to over a dozen different Chipotle locations and never had anything close to this experience happen. read more

I've ordered my chipotle here before via the app and had it delivered to me but I've physically never been. Saturday, arrived to get my usual chicken bowl. Noticed they were busy the place was a bit messy. The workers were nice. I ordered my chicken bowl and usually ask for all my sauces on the side. I had also ordered a quesadilla kids meal for my daughter all to-go. After paying and getting my food I waited in the car since we had ordered to-go food at the Indian restaurant next door. Noticed all the sauces I had asked for the on the side was missing. So I asked my husband to go back to ask for it. He got it no problem. I probably came the wrong time because I noticed most of the working crew was taking their lunch and most of their things were out. Here is what i had for my very disappointing lunch here at Chipotle in Clovis CA. 2/5 I ordered 2 Half beef brisket & half chicken burrito with everything except for gucaomle. The brisket looked and feel so dry and i wasn't sure how long it was sitting there. Today I got some gristle parts of the brisket and it wasn't too enjoyable to eat. 1/5 Their "organic drinks" what percentage of ingredients is organic for their waterd down drinks. Service 3/5 Service was ok, I wanted to tipped them $3.00 but they claimed they had no changed and I had to give them that $5.00 bill instead. This was use to be my favorite location to get some fat burritos but today it seemed their quality control is and was NO BUENO. Also their "organic drinks" was so waterd down and not refreshing the best so far it's at Corner Bakery and Habit burger. I Came in to grab dinner for the family last minute. There was a long line but NO WAIT. These employees where laughing and having a great time. Very organized with the way each guests food was prepared. And I even noticed one guy telling the employees at the bar "hands up up and away " while he clean the bar for the next guest. I went to try the Keto Lifestyle Bowl. I wasn't aware that it is an online only menu item. So, when I ordered in-store, the staff was less than friendly and didn't even know what came on it ‍ I had to go on the Chipotle website and tell them each item. I didn't mind that, but the employees were not friendly about it and acted as though I inconvenienced them. Customer service is probably more important to me than cost or quality. Absolutely no personality in there, seems like everyone hates their job & makes you feel like a nuisance for even coming in. My mom wanted to have lunch at chipotle and this is the closest chipotle to her, so I took the looong trek cuz anything for my mama. Walking in I was grossed out by this establishment . It was a complete dump. Trash all over the floors and tables with traces of chicken and crushed up tortilla chips. We did manage to find a decent table but it was all sticky, and the place smelled musty with all the over flowing trash. Speaking of which throwing all our trash away was challenging, as soon as we started emptying our trays trash would start falling all over the place due to them overflowing. Chipotle is obviously life. That being said, this Chipotle (Sierra Vista) is head and shoulders above the rest in the area. The staff is well trained and have all food items stock. In the rare event something is out, they are proactive in letting the line know that an item will require a wait. The customer service and overall respect for time is much appreciated. I know its a chain and this review isn't about the food, but this location deserves props for doing it's part. We drive an extra few miles to come to this location. Thank you!!! read more

A bit later I went to pick something up and was not pleased that there appeared to be a new employee as the young lady didn't know how to enter a gift card on the register. I've ordered from this Chipotle on several occasions, and it seems like the food just keeps getting worse. I ordered an Al pastor chicken burrito bowl online on 4/29 and it was disgusting. The chicken was super spicy and mostly red sauce. I ordered the beans, sour cream, and salsa separately so I could assemble my bowl at home, but the beans were mushy and had pieces of food in them. I didn't eat them. The tomatillo salsa wasn't even filled halfway, and the sour cream was extremely watery. I also ordered chips and queso, and the queso was cold and gritty. I ended up getting sick about two hours later, and spent the whole night throwing up. Sadly, this isn't the first time that's happened. I don't know why I keep going back. ‍ read more

Me very so often I find the dining area to be a little messy (I assume it's due to staffing issues). I always wonder how items don't go missing on the mobile order stand, since they just sit in the middle of the lobby. But overall it's a great "quick meal". read more
