I went to this chipotle today at about 1:40 ish. I don't have an issue with waiting when it's busy but I do have an issue with bad customer service. I had waited in line already for about 20 minutes before I made it to the counter and when I got to the counter I was just then told there was a wait on steak. I said ok and then asked would I have to get back in line. I was told no. So I waited patiently until I heard someone else order steak and they were let not told about a wait. I then asked a young lady that was working there is there still a wait on steak. She responded with the statement and I quote, that that's not her area and she doesn't know" this is the sentiment that pissed me off. I was not being jerk when I asked her. That was an internal thought that she could've kept to herself. The other young lady said oh I forgot I You were waiting for steak after I had been standing there patiently. Saturday, August 16 at 4:27 pm I arrived at this location, line out the door, but I was giving great service up until checkout . The cashier by the name of Mikiaira was extremely rude very distant standoffish, as if she did not want to be there not sure what happened before we got there, but in the midst of us trying to pay I asked her a couple questions. She never answered. She walked towards the back a couple of times, leaving me, clueless, and unsure if she heard my questions after that, she threw my tortilla chips in my bag. I then asked for a courtesy cup. She did not respond. Ran to the back again I asked her again. She never looked up at me, kept playing with the register at this point I didn't know what was going on, so I paid told her thank you she did not say anything back. I will never ever come back to this location again this is not how you treat paying customers that are being respectful and nice to you when you are being ILL mannered. This young lady needs to be retrained or fired we can't have employees like this representing such huge company. Employee who seemed to be a shift manager could not contain obvious prejudice against non-English speaking customers. A crowd of non-English speaking dashers were aggressively asked to move out of the way for "paying customers". Her aggression was met with a response, as she likely hoped for. She then proceeded to taunt customers for not speaking English and made a comment about cursing them out in English. She was perfectly capable of great customer service for those who spoke English and were "paying customers." There seemed to be a security guard working at the location, which is telling, as some employees clearly need a lesson on deescalation. This is how hate crimes arise. Do better. read more

Don't go here, and don't order from here online. This restaurant is so poorly run. Orders are never ready on time, employees are wandering around talking to each other and not to customers and 80% of the time my order is wrong. Today I waited for an hour past the time that my online order was supposed to be ready. The service area is a chaotic mess covered in food scraps and the employees would rather wander back and forth aimlessly than do anything about their workspace. Every table is dirty and there is trash all over the drinks and condiments area. The person who engages with customers the most is the security guard, who likes to yell at the many people who are standing quietly hoping that some day their order will be ready. Sometimes she mixes it up by yelling at the employees, which of course really speeds the service. The restaurant runs out of important items, like containers and tortillas, frequently, so whoever is responsible for their ordering can't seem to handle the basics. This store needs a whole new crew make over. Especially the cashier that helped me this day. She was the same cashier there the previous day that was cursing out her teammates so bad to the point where I had to leave with my kids because her mouth was disgusting. I came back the next day because my babies really wanted chipotle, but this day I left them in the car and I'm glad I did, because this day she was arguing with a short black man with dreadlocks. Customers packed in line asking for help to the one person that was working and she was overwhelmed but handled the line as quickly as possible with no help from the cashier or girl sweeping the floor. I mean you'd really rather swipe the floor than help the customers. The cashier and girl that was swiping wanted to argue with what I suppose is the manager because he asked them two to help the other girl clear the line. They were so upset he asked them to help her with the customers as if swiping was more important than the people in line. Or once the cashier stopped cursing the man out she started making bags of chips instead of helping. Both ladies found it funny that the other young lady was struggling on the line. Although she was struggling due to lack of help she apologized for the wait, and she was nice unlike the other people working behind the counter. I couldn't believe how nice this young was during all this chaos and she changed her gloves after almost every bowl because things did get messy for her. I applaud this young lady because she just kept apologizing to the customers for having to see and hear all the garage that was coming out of that cashier mouth. I know and or assume they all must be grown, but where is the level of professionalism when it comes to what type of language should be used at work or in front of customers. If I myself decides to come back to this location if that cashier is there I will not hesitate to turn around. My receipt says one name but that man called her another name I think it was cheyene or china. My last time going, it was a longer than usual wait, and I found a 2 inch strip of clear plastic packaging inside the honey chicken burrito I was eating. I work out at the LA fitness and, against my better judgement due to the fact this locations employees never have a sense of urgency, decided to treat myself to an after pump bowl. Boy was that a mistake. I'm not sure if there are understaffed but there was no one serving bowls for 15 min. Just one girl by herself changing the fixings out. The line grew out the door. On top of that the young man serving take ours was extremely rude to one lady picking up her order, I heard him actually say 'shut the f up' and 'don't tell me how to do my job.' My experience ordering at this Chipotle has always been hit or miss. I've been a couple times in person and other times I'll order through the app. Most of the times they've messed up my order in one way or another - forgot the salad dressing, forgot a side, etc. One time my food even came without a lid but instead wrapped in aluminum foil (not sure if that's normal but I had never seen that before haha). I'm happy to report that everything came in my order today (well minus the utensils but if they're going to forget anything I'd prefer it to be that haha)!! If this chipotle has 0 haters then I'm dead! Because what the hell is going on here. I've been here a handful of times over the past years and it's been bad every time! At least they're consistent I guess?? Todays issues: 1. They're out of beans? They tell me this as they are already preparing the bowl. They give me what's left and it's like a fraction of a scoop. They don't offer to give me a discount or extra of anything else mind you. 2. I wanted to pay the exact amount in cash so I went online and "ordered" the same item so I could know how much money to bring. With all the modifications and taxes (and I had it in the correct zip code too) it was like $11.20 or something. I go in the store and order the exact some thing and it's $12.45 . I asked why and the employee tried to say it was because I asked for guac. Which is not true because I ordered it that way online too. After getting no explanation for the price discrepancy I just apple paid the rest of the total which was like $1 which felt super silly. I don't necessarily blame the employee but make it make sense or atleast be able to tell the customer why there's two different prices for the same item. There are sooo many awful reviews on this place and nothing ever changes so I'm not sure what's going on here. I ordered a steak bowl with guacamole and received half a scoop of guacamole when I requested the full serving that comes with it I was told that it would be an additional charge. If I am paying for something I expect to receive the full portion to begin with. Also, I ordered a large bag of chips and the chips were so stale I couldn't even eat them. The Chipotle on 95th is shameful. I arrived at 8:12 and they close at 9pm. They had already packed up the kitchen while there was still a stream of customers coming in. At this point if you have read my reviews on this location you're probably laughing at me for continuing to patronize them expecting different results...and then to be given a dumb ass generic "apology" response from their support team was just the icing on the cake...I rolled the dice an ordered the Pollo Asada chicken bowl, light rice, extra fajita veggies, etc, chips and queso The bowl had extra rice, no fajita veggies and enough grease to fry some chicken. My rice was orange because of the grease....my salsa and sour cream containers were covered in grease...the chips were greasy and a mix of undercooked/stale....I found a piece of chicken ( I think) in my queso and a couple of pieces of steak in my double chicken bowl....sidenote...why are we paying more for a different flavored chicken I gave a review online and checked the box requesting someone from Chipotle to get in contact with me..This was my original complaint, which you can barely explain with the 200 characters they allow... Original Comment: The meat in my bowl was so greasy, my rice was orange.(like chorizo) Even on top of the rice, there was still a bowl full of grease at the bottom. This is one of THE WORST locations in Chicago. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. It's always something whenever I visit this location, where it's being out of something, having inaccuracies where you order ahead, having extremely long wait times even when you do order ahead, or just not having quality/seasoned food.
