My friends and I did the ride down the river. I parked my car at the bottom and then we proceeded to the house where you rent inflatables to ride down on. The cheapest one is $15 for the basic donut hole float. There are ones with a padded bottom for $25 and my favorite couples float for $40. You can bring a cooler for drinks of your choice, of which you can also get a little floaty for. A bus will take your crew a few miles up the street to where the actual river begins. There you get in the floats and just glide down Bear Paw. The water is pretty shallow and beware of the rocks and sticks floating around. They are very unexpected and can scratch you up. Definitely recommend you have water shoes. Down the trail you may see some wildlife or not. There are stopping points to ride swings and jump around in the water. At the end of the river we ended up back by the cars so we just hopped back in and drove home. Overall we were there for about 3 hours and it was money well spent for a good fun time. In the end, we did sign the form saying they weren't responsible for us getting hurt, we just didn't expect how much hurt we were in for. You sign a waiver and you have to weigh between 70 to 250 pounds for the zip line. Our two tour guides Jaeda and Spencer were amazing. As someone who's never zip lined before, they were comforting and patient. I think this zip line tour was good for beginners and kids. I think there were 10(?) zip lines that were approx 300 feet each. I'd prefer a longer one next time!

Called them on Monday afternoon and we were told the credit card part on the website wasn't set up. So we asked to make a reservation. We were told we didn't need one just show up. When we arrived we drove down a single lane pothole riddled clay road for a half mile. Upon arriving at the entrance we were greeted with a river crossing to actually get to the facility and parking area (picture below). If I had a truck it wouldn't have been bad but the ruts under the water surface were at least 2 ft deep. Driving a Honda Accord through this "Entrance" was not an option. So we turned around and went to the competitors canoe rental. My one star rating is only based on my attempt to get there. I did not actually get to use their facilities or services. It would have been nice to be told of the water crossing by the employee on the phone. If you do go there "ASK" about the water depth if you are driving a car.

You have to rent your tubes for the wave pool just like old times so that's why I was so upset about our tubes going missing. The three old slides that had the rubber rafts were closed. Apparently they are closed for good, which is sad because they were super fun back in the day but we were told they are super unkept so dangerous. I would hope they would redo them because they were super fun. The big slide thing was crazy scary. The attendant was tethered to the slide so that was a little unnerving. Rode the crazy drop, that thing took several years off my life, screamed the entire time but wow kinda scary fun. Though my family said I looked like I was going to pass out at any moment. Take cash, they charge additional fees if you use your debit card. Honestly though it wasn't that much, and was cheaper than the atm fee. The kiddie pool was super cold, which was odd considering the wave pool was warmer, but ok. And the lifeguard there was serious about her job. My daughter was about a half inch taller than the height limit and so she wasn't able to slide or play on the equipment. There were a couple kids her same height playing, but whatever. No worries, she had a good time in the wave pool. As the day went on the pool got more and more interesting with things in the pool. Bandaids, straws, Capri sun straws. Maybe the lifeguard who is walking around in the pool could have a dip net to help with this issue. For a cheaper pool day this place works. If you are looking for more of a water park, I would recommend headed down to Shipwreck Island or Wild Adventures.

While the initial pickup location was a bit tricky (in part due to uber drivers with their own opinions) we quickly recovered. Captain Shay was 100% professional and 110% down for a good time - exactly what you need when dealing with a bunch of crazy girls on a bachelorette! He showed us around the water area, pointing out homes he thought we'd be interested in, docked where we wanted, and took amazing drone footage of our time with him. I cannot say enough about Captain Shay and our time with him. We never wanted it to end and will 100% be back boating with him the next time we are in Destin! Highly, highly, highly recommend!
