After my groomer, who was coming to my home, decided to take a hiatus ( without any warning or…read morenotice) We were left somewhat panicked. That groomer also worked at a dog Salon, which was an option, but the recent YELP reviews were awful. Our dog is a puppy mill rescue, who had been abused and can be fear aggressive when confined with anything around her neck. She's never bitten anyone but gets snappy if you pull on her. So we need a groomer who gets that..... 95% of the time this dog is a lap dog, desperate for affection. She's also actually afraid of people and other dogs, terrified of cages,( she was in a cage for the first two years of her life)which is why going to a regular dog Salon was the least favorite option. So enter Furryland! We have had two groomers. Both were excellent. Both listened beforehand to her history and her trigger points. Amanda now has been her groomer the last few times and the actual grooming is terrific. She really did what I asked regarding her ears, which is difficult on a Doodle. Our original groomer just always kind of did it her way. Lol. But most importantly, our dog wasn't stressed. And before anyone asks, we have always used vet prescribed sedation to reduce anxiety. But it didn't yield the same results with our prior home groomer. So overall, the grooming results were terrific, the commutation via text while your pup is in the van is excellent, the personality and listening skills of both Amanda and staff have been so pleasant to deal with.

Very impressed with the staff members who were walking around the store interacting with customers. Wide and well lit aisles so it was easy to navigate through the store and see all the merchandise. While I didn't utilize these areas today, there is a wash area for dogs and a grooming area. Both areas looked very clean and well maintained. The check out process was easy. Both the cashier and person bagging my items were helpful and friendly. I was thanked for shopping at Pets Supplies Plus

Somehow, that turned into being accused of forging my vet's vaccination records because--according to the groomer--my vet "should have been closed" at 12:30 PM. I wish I were making this up. Instead of a quick 5-minute service, I got questioned, talked down to, and then told I was basically not welcome to spend money there anymore. Over a nail trim. For the record, my vet is The Pet Vet. Very real. Very open. Very easy to verify. I've never had a business jump straight to accusations like that instead of, you know... just checking. If you're local, just be aware--this was one of the most bizarre and unprofessional customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Rude employees come and go, but word of mouth (and posts like this) tends to stick around. Hasta la vista.

The hose shoots out every thing, the soap, conditioner, flea and tick treatment and it's all timed so you can use as much or as little as you want. Easy to switch to different settings with just. Push of a button. Each bath has a dryer hose as well and towels are supplied. Just ask to clean up after yourself. There's also a disinfectant setting to clean up after yourself. We tried a few different tubs for our dogs and this by far blows them away $10 for 10 minutes and 6 additional minutes is $4. Great for all sizes. As for the area, well lit and very nice in North Royalton. There is a button on the wall you can push if you have any questions or need something. Definite 10 out of 10

They even have a drier. There are separate areas that close your pet in with you, and the area is very clean. They do ask that you disinfect the tubs, which makes sense, and that is free. They provide towels, an apron if need one, and a mop to clean up after yourself. They have great hours; open til 9, and it's well maintained. I find it easier to wash my dog there because the clean-up is easy. The tubs are clean and seem low enough for most dogs to get into. I really like this place. I wish I knew about it sooner.

During all that time, we were only ever informed of one incident -- over a year ago -- which was described as a brief "scuffle" while several dogs went through a gate together. We were told there were no injuries, and after a short break, our dog returned to play with no further issues. There were no other incidents that day or at any other time until we were informed of his dismissal when we picked him up at the end of the day. Since his dismissal, we've made multiple attempts to get details about any other incidents and were denied. We even tried to speak directly with the practice owner and veterinarian, but she never responded. This has been extremely disappointing. As responsible pet parents, we wanted to understand what happened so we could address any behavioral issues -- but we were given no opportunity to do so. After years of loyalty to both the clinic and daycare (with as many as three dogs in their care at a time), the lack of transparency and unwillingness to communicate has left us questioning everything. They denied us any chance to correct behavior and keep our relationship as customers, and the practice owner's silence speaks volumes about how little they value long-term clients.
